Chapter 14 Part 1
(BEHRUPIYA CASE...EPI 63...SHAITAAN CHOWKI..)
"Aditi yaar kuch toh khalo...Vikrant plead as she gave him a stern look
"Vikrant mein already bohut kha chuki hoon...Damn she was done...Was he thinking of making their child foodie like him...he definitely was because since the day he had realized he was going to be a dad...well that is 3 days before...he constantly brought parathas..sandwichs...cakes...pastries...noodles...and what not.At first it was very cute but then her stomach couldn't take it anymore.
Not that she didn't like the undivided attention she got...but still...it was her stomach not Vikrants stomach.But she couldn't be stern with him when he was being soo adorable.He was an amazing dad.He cleaned the house brought groceries took her to baby shopping and even spoke to her belly.
Her belly didn't show much but she could certainly see the small bump forming in her lower belly.Vikrant too seemed to notice it cuz he always had a hand on that region when they were alone.
Everything was going perfect...just the way she wanted...They stayed in one house...had goodmorning kisses...laughter filled lunch...cute baby evenings and passionate nights.Oh could her life be any better...and guess what she was still feeling uneasy...She had no idea why but she was feeling uneasy...as if something was terribly wrong...as if her gut feeling was indicating to something very drastic.As if everything was turning...dark and evil.
She pushed the thoughts aside after she felt Vikrant not backing down from his ridiculous stubbornness of feeding her.
"Thik hai do...She finally took the pastry from his hand and took a bite and thought of eating it slowly just to show Vikrant how pissed off she was but the moment the food touched her lips she felt a hunger overtake her and she started munching it without looking at the knowing look Vikrant was giving her.
Vikrant looked at her munching the food hungrily and smiled. Damn pregnancy was beautiful on her...She looked radiant with a constant blush on her cheeks.He wouldn't mind having some more kids.But first he needed to ask her out for marriage.He loved her...She loved him and now she was carrying his child...so it was better they got married soon.Infact he had already asked Arohis help for finding him a ring suitable for Aditi...just a few day and everything would be amazing.
Suddenly he got a call from Suresh sir about a new case.
(ONE DAY LATER)
Vikrant took his gun and pointed at the culprit but suddenly his body freezed and the land under him had slipped...his head was spinning and he shook with a shock that ripped his body and heart apart.There stood Aditi with a knife in her hand...blood dripping and with a look of anger that shocked him beyond everything...this wasn't the calm and collected Aditi he loved...there was a bloodshed storm in her eyes.
The pandit was dead...did Aditi kill him...Did the pandit try to attack on her and was it motherly insticts and motherly protection that made her kill him.Was Aditi trying to protect their child and killing was the best option she had.Or was this the behrupiya...
No this was the behrupiya his head screamed and he again took the gun to aim at her but his heart couldn't fire.He again lowered it...He in no way could do this.He loved her beyond anything and everything...there had to be a reason if she did it.And even if this wasn't her he couldn't kill her...Heck he wouldn't even dream of seeing blood anywhere near to her face.
"Vikrant...He turned his face just to find Aditi running through the door and he ripped his head to the front.It wasn't Aditi...it was a behrupiya...She was just someone who took Aditis face.A sense of calmness and disgust took over him.Calmness that it wasn't Aditi and disgust that he couldn't realize that it wasn't at all Aditi...

Aditi could see he was still thinking about the earlier encounter he had with the behrupiya who took her face.He might seem to be completely calm and thinking about something with seriousness but she could still the the storm raging inside him.She didn't say anything except took him in her arms and hugged him.He quickly grabbed her inhaled her scent...nuzzling her hair and neck.His tense muscles relaxed and he felt calm.He closed his eyes and took in the intimacy of the moment.
"I love you...Was all Aditi heard from him before he rested his head on her shoulder and smiled.

Vikrant looked at Aditi and found her looking at the beautiful sight of sea in front of her.Well the sea was no where near to Aditis beauty if compared.Aditi was his beautiful sight.The earlier case had been strange but they had solved it and were finally relaxing in his house.He went near her and spoke to her...
..."Congratulations ACP saab...apne ek itna ajeeb case solve kar diya...
"To finally tumne mujhe apne jaisa ajeeb bana hi liya...Vikrant joked and he got the same reaction from her he always used to get...a very cute smile and ignorance.
She loomed at the sea and he looked at her...He couldn't wait to make her his for forever and propose her for marriage.Just a little more time and everything would be happily ever after...
But did happily ever after exist...not after the cold evil yellow eyes constantly staring at his victims.
