So Revathi is out of danger and Shakti comes to see her.
Why does Praba hit her again; because she lied to him before going there? And that wasn't just a slap...he hit her to fall down and oh please! Shakti needs to react!!!

Shakti-Revathi-Karthik come back home.

That night, again Shakti says sorry for not informing them and going and asks for going to college.

Praba, Malar and Malar bro (in that order) taunt her saying she can never go to college.

She wipes away her tears in determination.

Next day, Revathi and Karthik in college. Start of new semester. Revathi annoyed that Shakti didn't attend college.

Attendance is taken. When Shakti's name is called out the 2nd time; she enters saying "Present sir"

Praba is shocked.

Valarum...

Precap : Malar and Praba at home. Its 9 and still Shakti is not home. Next day, at college Praba tells her to go home or else and raises her hand to slap her. She holds his hand; angry.

This Shakti is finally growing a backbone. 👏

Hopefully, she won't put up with Prabha's torture any longer and learn how to be an independent woman. She needs to realize that marriage is not the be all, end all of of a woman's life. And honestly, what type of life is she living now anyway? Always getting either abused or neglected. Might as well pack up and move to Reva's place (because A & A aren't going to take her back after the stunt she pulled).

And this Prabha. 😡 After all the veera vasanams to Azhagar, is slapping his wife and acting like a psycho with the rest of his family. Who is he to tell Shakti that she can't go to school? And better yet, why is this Shakti begging him for permission? She's his wife, not his slave. One of these days, I'd like to see her slap Prabha back and give him a taste of his own medicine, because he definitely deserves it.

This is why Karthik & Reva > Prabha & Shakti, any day.

P.S. Though I don't like Malar's brother, he made a good point. Shakti was a complete idiot for running away from home and getting married, if her studies were her top priority. Instead of following in the footsteps of her parents or her aunt, she's stuck with a gumbal that wants her to be a housewife...and she willing chose this to be her life.

My sister showed me some pictures from fb. Looks like sakthi is staying with her grandparents. Sakthi needs to be firm not melt when praba comes begging later part.

Prabha slapping her that she lied nu.. I just hate this kind of attitude, be it a fiction.. what rights does he have? because he is her HUSBAND? , a MALE (whom they think a superior gender)?.. is this the LOVE ? for which he was afraid of losing her got married this early forcing her..

Liked the way she gave him back.. I WISH Sakthi stands firm in her decision..
