Aralyn, I gave you an opportunity to edit your post and wanted to give you the benefit of doubt, in vain. First of all, let me remind you that this is a serial and all the characters are fictitious. RK is a father character and as he himself accepts to his son, is an autocratic one - each member will have some mental picture of a father character and will comment. There is nothing personal here and no one will compare their own father to some non-existing serial father character - we all respect our parents a lot and would never like to trade them for any thing else in the world. Not just Aadi ammavasai, we offer our prayers to our deceased fathers ,every ammavasai.

First of all you do not know any of us and I am sure that you have no clue about our parents. What gives you the right to cast aspersions on our mothers??? Even if someone called RK as a spineless person, you can just refute their statement with valid arguments - like how RK is an excellent father character - and register your protest. Why do you get personal??? Don't you think that the fellow members in the forum are much more important than some imaginary character?? The statement you made is really cheap and now you have exposed your mettle, pretty pathetic!!

I have told you before that political discussions are not welcome in this forum - are you a military personnel??? What do you know about the services??? Well, even if you are knowledgeable about the services, this is not the place to discuss all that.

Well said, Shylock. I get the sneaky suspicion that the ACD character is deliberately being downplayed because there may have been unhappiness among some of the original cast that he has trumped them. Nonetheless, because the ACD character has a huge fan following, CR has to retain him albeit "decoratively". I hope CR respects his fans and is mindful of the show's ratings. Unless he gives the ACD character his rightful prominence, the show's ratings will continue slipping.

Btw, today in Singapore (yes, I am back), we saw the scene where some police informer was sending Jamuna photos of Insp Narendran and SKPD via MMS. My domestic helper noticed that the informer hit the "Send by bluetooth" button and she was laughing, knowing well that bluetooth would never work between a cell phone in Coonoor and another in Chennai!

I also noticed the Charu character opening up the letter from OKS and throwing the torn envelope on the floor. When will Indians ever learn to stop littering ;-)

I am making all these light comments in the hope that readers will cool down after Aralyn's unhelpful remarks ;-)

All these characters in Anandham have a great time tackling family problems and never going to work!! How do they keep their home fires burning 😉 ?
And the free advertisement for cricket. IPL bosses will be thrilled. It is said that the cinema houses in chennai are running empty because of IPL. If IPL can bring the world fraternity together, Anandham can bring all the families together by playing cricket. SKPD bowling to Muthulaxmi, anybody? Lets see if he can cover his head against IPC section 302 from ACD and JC at least at cricket.

Jagdu, I have also wondered how these people are always at home, and yet they are apparently doing very well at work. If you ever find out where Manisha is working, please let me know, so that I can also put in my resume.

This forum is only to discuss Anadham episodes and topic related to it. We should keep in mind while discussion that our points should not offend anyone else's sentiments and please keep in mind, Anandham is just a ficitioanl show so nothing of it is real..only reel 😊

@Jagdu - I read in a article, people like CR, THolz are tensioned cause of the low TRPS cause of IPL...people doesnt watch serials but only cricket 😆

I just realized that the cricket scene is what prompted Jagdu's remark! How could I forget that scene, since it was so meaningless? Oh well, blame my age. 😆

Speaking of cricket, I think some may have read Saakshi Sivaa's comment in the "Exclusively for you and your ACD" thread that he and several other stars are participating in some comedy cricket show on SunTV. Looks like SunTV is looking for a formula to wean back audiences hooked on to the real cricket matches.
