If their intention was to see if she was capable of thwarting any sneak attack by SKPD, she failed miserably. I wonder what her reaction will be once she comes to know of the briefcase switch with Charu. Aamaam, since she was supervising the men who dug up the briefcase and should then have been watching it at all times before returning to Chennai, how & where did Charu manage the switch? Charu did not go with Jamuna to this out of city place, and neither did her men! Anaalum, briefcase switch pannitaanga! (Let me check - aamaam, en kadula poo suthi irukku.)
CR sar, unga story line romba weak. Sigh.

Thanks Vsur for an excellent update. My own take on the RK getting emotional scene is this - he is thinking about Abirami not having any children of her own, and voila, CR is going to oblige him by presenting him with Karthik's son, who can then be adopted by Abirami, satisfying her desire to have a child, and then maybe she will leave the RK family alone.

But I still have a doubt - how did Charu know the size and color of the briefcase even before they dug it up, because she had a similar one ready to do the switch? I know, I know, don't ask these questions, just applaud CR and Charu for doing a brilliant (???!!) switch.

Haha, Giri. But, of late I've been watching Anandham with a sense of total disgust wondering why CR is not listening to our laments about ACD. ACD is CRs trump card, but why is he being used "decoratively?" From a top cop who masterminded planting Jamuna as a spy into SKPDs house, he has been reduced to literally a "chamcha" to the JC - whose brains seem to have suddenly matured. Intially it was ACD who did all the scheming and the action, the JC just approved it. Now JC does all the planning and scheming?????? Why?? 😡😡😡
