Thanks for the info but no ACD no serial for me. 😉. I guess he stopped acting in bit parts as in Lakshmi, now that he's got a larger profile in Anandham and perhaps a couple of Telugu serials. If someone on the big screen hasn't signed him on yet for a movie role, it's their big loss.

yep, i guess he has quit playing bit roles but i think he'd find it hard to keep up the hero role if he ever goes into films. after all, now the roost is ruled by really fresh youthful faces. unless he achieves a hatrick like vikram by playing controversial roles.😊 i'm not saying he won't be successful but the road is long & hard.

anyways, if ACD ever wants to venture into tamil cinema, he'll have my blessings!😃

Yup, Jiggly. Excellent observation. Film is a tough medium to survive in. But then, I don't think he'd be competing with the teeny boppers who play heroes in love stories. I'd be happy to see him play the sort of role that Rahman did in Raam -- a good supporting role. Or, as you note, the sort of unconventional hero role that Vikram played in Anniyan. Or even Rajini in Chandramukhi.

Sorry People - For now can't think of Saakshi Siva as anyone else except ACD and can't think of anyone else except Vanaja to be cast as his pair. I think they look cute together on screen. I guess they look good together because they are both tall and their looks complement each other - when they appear together they seem to look better individually than when they appear seperate - their "Jodi Porutham" on screen is good.

Did he act in Laksmi? I did not watch. I only started to watch Laksmi since it moved to later slot.

that is so true meli. i used to enjoy seeing our ACD in jeans & smart polo shirts in that serial.😛 he looked much younger & cuter in lakshmi than in anandham.😉 too bad, he seems to have disappeared. i liked him in that negative role. it added to his charm rather than diminshing it.😉

and what was that Sorgam role all about -- the one where he thirundhifies from a baddie to a nice character? (I never dreamt I'd use words like thirundhify in my life 😉

hello everyone! last week's discussion of the week was a success, not a big one but still it was made a success thanks to all the ACD fans in the forum.😆😆

anyways, now it's time for our 2nd

this week's discussion would be on the dressing sense of ACD & priya.

the idea for this DOTW was given by Bonheur.👏👏 thank you once again.😃

here are some points to discuss on & feel free to add on your own points & suggestions.

- what outfits would suit ACD? would you like to see him in police uniforms, casuals, sports wear or traditional silk shirts & veshtis?

- what colour tones would you design ACD's clothes in if you were given a chance?

- Priya - in salwars or saress? silk sarees or cotton saress?

- advice some accessories that priya can wear to spice up her look in anandham.

- suggest some suitable hairstyles for priya & how she can improve on her dressing sense.
