That Restaurant Scene: The Director's Cut

As we all know, old movies are often re-released with what is known as a "Director's Cut". This is the director's preferred version since the versions that we usually see are those edited by the film company that pays for and releases the movie. So, here is the director's cut of that restaurant scene, as opposed to the Sun TV version that those in India saw last Wednesday and Thursday. This is an exclusive release to IF. Dasa's originals are in black. See insertions in blue for the uncut versions.

Indhu with Priya in a restaurant. Priya in a saree better than what she wears normally! Indhu asks for menu and now enters ACD in dark goggles and a light pink shirt looking handsome. Indhu sees him and welcomes him. Priya keeps a gruff face.

ACD comes and asks Indhu you made such a big problem for everyone that day. (ACD is so thankful that he had managed to check himself before committing a slip of the tongue. He had been on the verge of saying, "Indhu Kutty Satan, you have created such a big problem for me today by being present in this restaurant while Priya is dining here.") Now Indhu keeps telling ACD to sit but Priya keeps mum. Indhu tells Priya to ask ACD to be with them but Priya says what for I should call, you have already called him.

Thanks for the Surya links Bonheur. However well our dear ACD has acted, I'm not for his role in Surya. Is it his own voice in Surya, I dont think so.

Yup, Shylock. It's his own voice in Surya; I can tell the similarity with the voice in Anandham though because of the vastly differently character and perhaps the sound systems he does sound somewhat eifferent. And, yes, I don't like the role of drunkard; hard to digest after seeing him as a smart and assertive cop.

So basically everyone agrees the crap of showing child abuse.

Bonheur, my dad said the same thing as yours, only his added point is add honey to the body to attract the red ants faster. 😃

So to sum up the punishment for CR, will be find a fruit tree. tie the baaaaad director upside down, naked?? (yeuk, I don't want to see ugly looking directors naked, so I will give them just a shorts), spread some honey on top of them and wait for the arrival of red ants. While waiting, we can show the Anandham to the Director (so Leena, do not break your t.v coz we need it), then as we see each episodes with the Director (we have to in this case), then as and where we are displeased / angry with CR, we use Leena's cricket bat, to knock some senses on his head. With saying like this "intha scene thevaya". Once we are tired, we let the red ants take over. (although they would have taken it out much sooner) 😃

Thanks Dasa. We are back to Divya' s murder!!! Unless that meesai fellow comes and surrenders, ACD cant do any thing about this!!! I hope he is able to talk to that messai fellow and lure him to turn in to an approver!!!!

Why did the Dr call "Periamma"??? Can see clearly that CR is totally out of breath - he has no clue as to what he is doing!!!!!
