Well, Eljay. I can't fault the director for bringing in the Jamuna complication and delaying the marriage. He needs to sustain audience interest through episode 1000 -- the wedding cannot be held before then; no one would be interested in seeing a married couple doing the usual, boring married couple routine. The wedding can only take place in episode 1000. Or 999. 😃

One thing is for sure, Bon, at least for the first few years, there will be a lot of romance in the marriage before the mundane duties of raising children, taking them to school and various activities, taking care of the house after coming home from work, etc., take over. So we should hope for at least a few good episodes, unless the director is planning 5000 episodes. In that case, he can delay this wedding indefinitely, with perhaps an inquiry into ACD and JC being the next major bombshell. Shankar and Victor could probably be the reasons for this inquiry. Who knows?

Hey, I know an Indian couple in DC for whom romance hasn't yet died down -- she's 85, he's 83! I have no doubt that marriages can sizzle for many years.

But our CR hardly knows about romance before marriage; can we then expect him to show any romance after marriage? I mean, it's been months since the reconciliation and how many romantic episodes have we had since then? We can count them off the fingers of one hand! That's why I'd rather have the wedding in the penultimate episode; at least we can have some small mercies until then.

Of course, ACD is now in a real quandary and can't explain his relationship with CP. At least CR is doing a good job of illustrating how difficult the life of anyone involved in intelligence work is and why even spouses cannot be taken into confidence -- the lives of deep cover intelligence agents are at stake and the slightest slipup can be fatal. This also explains why the likes of CIA are often so protective with information. Often, they don't even trust the President's innermost circle with information obtained through deep-cover agents. I understand that some years ago, the former Taiwanese president publicly unveiled something about the Chinese that his intelligence service had uncovered. Although he did not provide too many details (presumably because he didn't know the details), soon afterwords, the Chinese goverment was able to trace back the leak to two double agents in their midst and promptly execute them.

Who was it who suggested that Madhan may be trying to match RK and Charu?? Thappu, thappu. Charu is actually Madhan's MIL. Or rather ex-MIL. Wouldn't it be improper for her to marry RK?

Bon, the Chinese executed their double agents, as well they should. On the other hand, our Anandam director, after exposing Victor as a spy working for SKPD, arrested him, and now he is free on bail and being offered a possibility of reinstatement with a chance to work for Shankar instead of SKPD!

Before I saw ur posting, I had already prepared mine for 'boring routine' 😛 . Being married has never been boring for me. There is no such thing as happily ever after which will be definitely boring 😆, but irukaravarai, ups and downs nalla than irukku. Children also have their part in making it more tamazhful. 😊
