So, how can this SR's man (he was in the water tank lorry team waiting for Charu when she was to arrive from Malaysia), get near a window? Equally important, what happened to ACD's "peripheral vision" or "sixth sense" when talking to Charu? Oops.. yosiththu time waste pannaama serial-la parungannu solraru CR sir.

HI folks. I've had work up to my eyeballs plus was having problems logging in, which is why I haven't been posting messages. Welcome back, Giri. Look forward to your updates again.

Indeed, I am very grateful to Shylock, our most recent updater who not only had to spend time writing summaries but also had to very often sit through crap. I am also thankful to previous updaters like Kams, Giri herself, and, of course, our mad stand-in 😉

Just yesterday in Singapore, I had to sit through another bout of uncharacteristic weeping on Anandham -- the male battalion weeping after Raji's death. Isn't Cheyyar overdoing the pathos? Anandham was one of the few serials where women cried. On the contrary, most of the women in Anandham are strong-willed ones -- Abhi, Shanthi, Charu, Priya, even Mrs Srini. But now we have bawling men. C'mon Cheyar, Raji wasn't young and she wasn't in good health. Can't these men control themselves? Please spare us all those tears. Enough!

Roja, thanks for yesterday's update. I notice you took special pains to highlight what ACD and Priya wore, how they looked at each other, etc. All for my benefit. Very flattering, your concern 😃

Folks, watched yesterday's Anandham a while ago and was sorely disappointed. I had hoped Cheyar would make ACD a modern man, not a male chauvinist. Priya tells him she hasn't eaten as yet and he suggests they dine together. And, then he sits down comfortably and spreads out a leaf just for himself while Priya has to stand and serve the maharajah. And, even worse, he makes Priya sacrifice her share of the food for the kazhugu! Cheyar, this is totally unacceptable male chauvinist behaviour. (When I first saw ACD sitting at the table by himself and Priya serving him, I half thought he'd feed her; me and my totally unwarranted romantic streak!)
