HI, Today's episode of Anandham was a really anandham for the viewers. ACD-priya day today. More scenes and more dialogues, excellent episode.

"Apart from getting the grammar all wrong, there is at least one word which Indians tend to use literally and not in the idiomatic way it is popularly used by native english speakers today. And that's the word "LOVER". In yesterday's episode (shown earlier in India), Srini (or was it SR) comments that Priya had been behaving arrogantly just because ACD was her "lover". Ouch! Even in happier days they didn't even as much as hold hands, let alone behave in the manner in which lovers are expected to behave. In Shakespearean times, the term lover meant literally someone whom one is deeply in love with and who loves one deeply. But in today's popular usage it means something more. Srini should have just said ACD was her "boyfriend"."

You excel in your comments. Modern day usage of "Lover" indeed is very different - frequently pertaining to an extra marital and clandestine relationship - even though the dictionary definition is still "two persons in love with each other". "Lover" implies the intimacies and intricacies of a clandestine romance. "Boy-friend" is definitely the appropriate term.

Fundamentals of story writing, fundamentals of directing a serial - to name a few skills!!! The way they beat around the bush and sideline important issues is annoying. About the usage of English .... better left unsaid.

The way that ink fellow was talking to psycho Abi was sickening - someone must have told him to roll his "Rs" - he extended it way beyond and called Abi Abizhami - uh huh!!!

Aahaa. Today's episode with so much of ACD and Priya is so soothing. Mayil iragaal manasa varudina maathiri irrukku. I was thinking after yesterdays episode how ACD has not done nothing much for her release or help her and that he is only empty words and felt very bad. Today's episode changed all that.

I want to really ask Priya to change and move towards ACD when he is moving towards her. Priya nalla kettukko. Illaina kaalam kadanthurum chance poirum. 😛
