I am doubtful that the person in the car is Charu. Reason...ACD talks in a certain dignified tone to Charu and that was exactly not the case yesterday...and they showed a flight take off. Charu is in Malaysia already!
What other possible choices
1. Priya?
2. Charu's old PA.
2. Srini's Gundu friend
3. Kandhu? (no way)

No wonder they chose the second option. how can CR end Anandham so soon. If only Brindha das has to move on on a personal engagement 😍. Even then, CR will find a way to pull this javvu with side stories and sub-sub-side stories. another thought, if only CR has to pull out for personal work 😍😍

If the tone of voice is different from the normal tone ACD uses for Charu, it could well be that Priya was riding with Charu and that Charu had gotten off the car along the way and so it's just to Priya that he speaks. Alternatively, it could be one of the baddies. And, surprise, surprise, ACD may himself have had a transformation of character -- i.e., having been frustrated in love, abandoned by parents, etc, he loses his moral compass and suddenly decides to join the ranks of Sivaraman and other baddies.

Hee, hee, hee ... just kidding. But then, one never knows with Cheyar Ravie. Anything to revive the series and keep it going till it hits 1000 episodes, right? For instance, Sivaraman was portrayed as a good guy in the beginning and Cheyar changed his colours along the way. So, it's totally within the realm of the possible to transform ACD into a baddie. After all, ACD is getting rave reviews from some of us for his baddie role in Lakshmi. So ...

OK, OK. I expect a ton of bricks to descend upon me and I duck. I personally wouldn't want to see a change of character in ACD. Much as I like his role in Lakshmi I want him to remain a good guy in Anandham, and to be eventually (SOON) reunited with Priya.

Naw, just kidding. So, it looks like Shyam and Uma may be written out of the serial soon with a migration scenario. We may then have just the occasional long distance phone call from Shyam to Ramya, RK, and perhaps Omni. Or they may show Shyam skyping with our Internet-savvy ACD for a few episodes until we forget his existence 😃
