Eljay, well said about romance. It isn't the roses and chivalrous gestures on special occasions that count but the kindness and consideration that come from the heart. Anyway, you should take Jagdu's comments with a pinch of salt. He seems to have a wacky sense of humour 😃

That said, Cheyar, please treat us to some romance even though we know eljay is a killjay 😉 It's been a long time since Priya and Indu went on an outing. We could perhaps have another "encounter" (of the romantic kind) at the kids' park or beach or temple or whatever.

Roja, excellent points at the guidelines for members thread. I was wondering whether you could add a minor point. That is, when members quote one another, they should only reproduce relevant comments that they are reacting to, not entire posts, which needlessly add to the lengths of their own posts. (I didn't post this comment in that thread as I thought you'd want to restrict it to moderators' guidelines.)

Rojakka: I am sorry. 😭 I meant this time as the morning. I came to do the updates now as I have told coz the online updates are not available as they used to do in the past. If someone else is ready to do the update, please let them do so. I know it is a pain for the readers to wait for the update till the next day morning after the show is aired in the US. It will be too late for readers from India. I live in the EST zone and online video updates are not posted by evening time for my time zone. Sorry guys. I love to update but the availability of video updates online is the problem.

When kanakku brings the pic and shows to SKPD, he says that paiyan raja pola irukkaan. Why deis it always have to be this way?: paiyan is like raja and ponnu mahalakshmi pola irukkaa. Why can't be ponnu like a queen? 😉
SKPD goes to do kalyana velai without even asking jammu and the groom or his family.

I agree with eljay about the romance part. I have known some men who bring flowers or gifts use these tricks as a cover up for getting their way with. Being romantic is being able to care and assure the spouse that they are in everything together.
I know some women who give importance to only these flowers and gifts to show off to their friends and they may not be an ideal spouse in other aspects.
The character ACD was created by CR and the blame goes to him. :) ACD's character is shown to be strict in duty but he has soft corner for Govindhan's son and has sponsored for his studies and has helped Givindhan's wife get a job. It is the director we have to blame for lack of romance or action.

Thanks Roja for the update. Well, well, well, ACD is going to he honored in Geneva! When he nabs SKPD, will he be honored in Stockholm as well? For our generally witless police, this is a rare honor.

Abi reminds me of Erica Kane of All My Children, a long running soap here. I am talking of the 80s, when I used to watch soaps, and Erica Kane was young and scheming and beautiful. Abi is almost there, but nowhere as smart as Erica! They are definitely similar, in that they are never upto any good. 😉
