Oh, and further to my earlier post, I am not the one wearing specs in the photo where the lady with dyed hair also appears. I was just the humble photographer. The lady with specs is one of our IF readers in Singapore but I shall keep her name confidential just in case she objects. Shylock can vouch for my saying that I am not in any of the photos posted 😃

I think I recall SS saying he did have the permission of the two ladies to have the photo posted on the website. If anyone objects, I shall remove those photos.

Bon, those pics were great. I just wish you had also been in at least one of the pics, and I am still inclined to think you are the one in glasses, even though you say that Shylock will vouch for the fact that you are not in the pics. Anyway, it looks like you all had a great time.

Sorry to disappoint you, Eljay. But I am definitely not the one in specs (I usually wear contacts and I wish I were as young as the lady in specs ... sigh ...) Neither am I the one with dyed hair, let me stress once again (though I do tint my hair a bit too). Anyone who recalls the photo I posted briefly (the one where I was wearing ACD's policeman's hat) will realise I am definitely not in any of the Singapore photos ;-)

Aaarrggh!!! Don't, Shy. I will in due course put up one of my photos in SS's site (probably the one in policeman's hat). The man has been threatening to send my photo to all his email contacts if I don't post any of my photos on the site ... ;-)

Thanks, Bon, for an excellent recap of the fun times you had with SS during his visit to Singapore. I visited S'pore in '86, and it looks like a lot of new things have come up there since my visit. Maybe I will arrange our next trip to India via S'pore, and then maybe I will contact you, and maybe get a glimpse of you without those oversized glasses and hat.
