Shanthi comes to the hospital and we see her explaining her stomach problems to a team of doctors and nurses.
(we see all of them standing a few feet away - not because they are afraid to catch her germs but because for the first time in their lives, they are in the midst of international celebrity and stand in awe with deference).
Raji hears about this, does her eyebrow shooting up act, turns up her lips and then rushes somewhere.

Next we see, Poms kutty explaining to Shyam why his sister cannot allot him the MD chair now...as explained by the lawyer. Shyam tells her that it is as he suspected and it is Poms who is naive to believe whatever Abhi spoonfeeds her. He tells her that it is always a one way street where his sis is concerned. she takes all but gives nothing away. Poms exhibits surprise and says but she is your sister? but shyam tells her he knows her better and it is real foolish of Poms to have believed whatever tales Abirami was spinning. He tells her the way Uma asked for MD seat, abhi accepting it, taking it the lawyers who advised against it - all was a staged show. After he leaves, a very perturbed Uma walks to and fro. and remembering her dad's words (flashback in B & W) she goes and gets the sealed envelope from the "red" file. She starts to rip it and then suddenly recalls the director telling her not to do so and expose the empty contents - actually, it is another karuppur veLLai scene of Lakhs telling her to undergo all tartures at abhi's hands and only in Uma's deathbed before her final moochu is drawn, shd she open it up -provided abi had not destroyed it already..She puts it back where it belongs, mentally getting ready for another round of loss.

Shanthi is being attended by raji chellam with mama in assistance (TG - we dont see appeY indu anywhere nearby) looks like the setting is her home.
Mama is complaining abt the poor medical quality available in cities in comparison to the loads of leafy medicines available in his village. which by the way do their tricks the minute one swallows it. it doesn't even have to reach their digestive track. (i am not disagreeing with naattu vaidhyam but the way he suggested/scoffed at allopathy brought this out) He says here they talk about big machinery - scan, etc. which are all new words to him..(he can join Bagyaraj who expressed explicit wonder at words like worgaholig (workaholic), i forgot the other one)
Shanthi explains in betw clutching her tummy, that medicine has advance by leaps and bounds. In walks RK with Madan and Xmas tree..(she has trimmed down the decorations and is no longer flashy - another indication that they have a mole in our group). Xmas tree requests Madam to come live in their house but she says no. Raji tells that RK thought it was his harsh words th previous day that made Shanthi abstain from work and RK asks if it is so. Shanthi says, aiyO mama, ungaLukku illaadha urimaiyaa? neenga ennai adhichE konnaa kooda, enakku sandhOsham dhaan. Mama tells that shanthi has been worried that RK will mistake her not coming in to work. Shanthi says there are so many things pending at work that she needs to go the next day. RK assures her that the empire will not collapse just yet and tells her to take complete rest. They leave.

ayyiOdaa- i am taking the first plane back to that ayurvedic saalai. it was heaven looking at jeevan being treated there. Oil is being smeared on him and he is being stroked with a feather by another. Oil is seen dripping gently from up above (from a pot suspended on the ceiling). Outside, a car draws up and ACD comes in asking abt Jeevan. Head vaidhyar says they are making progress and soon Jeevan will respond to touches.
They walk out and ACD sees his aunt talking to some person. He calls her and she is very happy to see him. They exchange pleasantries and he asks why she did not keep in touch. Aunt tells him that she has been reading abt his saagasams (kabbadi too) in the paper. asks abt her brother and wife (his parents) and if he is married now. ACD says Divya's murder case has to come to a closure before he can even think of it. Athai refuses to come with him and says she finds great peace serving people here (maybe gets free feather stroking massage too with oil bath) and she has decided that her future is here and only after she breathes her last, she can be removed from here. ACD is shocked..................and disappointed.

Durai's athai tells durai that she prefers to stay and serve the people in the ayurvedic place, and refuses to go back with durai

kaidhi jeevan is getting treatment and once the people who treat him leave he opens his eyes and sees again

shanthi goes to the doctor & gets some bad news from the doctor. The entire dialogue is muted. Looks like shanthi is asking the doctor to save her, while the doctor is saying that it seems difficult to help her(any guess what is wrong with shanthi), shanthi comes out and tells raji & her mama that everything is fine

srini calls abhirami and gives her the good news that there is some fumes in RKs company and how shanthi does not go to work. He also praises abhirami for moving the coin well with uma, about why she cant make shyam the md of abhirami idnustries they both pat each others back

shanthi is thinking about her doctors visit, and karthik calls, karthik inquires about shanthis health, shanthi says that she was wanting to talk to him and he called. she asks him not to worry, but karthik seems to be concerned.

durai's parents come to meet divya's mom who is serving jeevan. she tells them the same thing she told durai, durai's parents make a statement saying if durai's athai, .. jeevan gets a shock and opens his eyes and looks at them

Brief update

Kaidhi govindans wife is taken to visit with him. once she is alone with jeevan, jeevan comes alive and tells her that he has controlled his mind with his yoga skills and asks her not to let anyoneknow about this. jeevan's wife tells him that the cops took all their money, jeevan swears to ocme out and kill everyone responsible. AT the place where jeevan is some guy spots divy'as mom.

The guy who spots jeevan's mom reports to kandhu and tells him that he found where kandhu is and also how jeevans wife came and visited him. kandhu is wondering how come AC put jeevan where his athai is, he is not able to understand AC's mind

raji, rk & shanthi plan to visit balaji's place to console his wife. Balaji's wife is crying in front ofhis picture and there are a few ladies there, and then balaji's father is being consoled by the villagers

as and when shanthi & co approach balaji's house they witness the scene where balajis' father is being pushed by his siters son who says that balaji had promised his sister priyas hand in marriage with him. Priya comes an slaps this characters and says that since it is her brothers sadangu she is stopping now , i fnow she would hit so hard, that all his Bodhai will come down

RK & co attend balaji's last rite ceremony, where arjun listens to some gossip about how the drunken monk was going to kidnap gowri and kattufy thAli to her, so they are concerned for gowri

AC mahesh's family are put to shame as he did not turn into an approver.

Abhirami & shanthi meet at the local grocery storey, they both taunt each other. Shanthi finally tells abhirami, that uma will catch on to abhirami's tricks and she will witness everyone will leave abhirami eventually

uma & raj gowtham are at their office, when a customer comes in angrily with some of their sari's from bombay and returns them and asks how they sold him pOli pattu pudavai
