I hope Cheyyar quickly starts a spin-off serial focusing on ACD-Priya. Or a brand-new serial with Saakshi in an entirely different hero role, hopefully with Vanaja as his love interest again. This SKPD-Charu-Abhi affair and all the crimes and intrigues have become such a bore.

If Cheyyar starts a brand new serial, I wonder what sort of role Saakshi should have. The authoritative and efficient policeman role is so appropriate that I can't envision him in any other role. Maybe he can be cast as an aspiring all-India badminton player 😉 Or a lawyer. Or a doctor (the Indian version of George Clooney in ER, with Vanaja as a nurse and his love interest?)

Where are all the Anandham buddies and their comments? I am so bored on a Friday evening. Have been working all day long on a paper and I thought I'd log in to read some comments for diversion. Buddies?? If no one responds with anything exciting, I may have to seek diversion by writing another short story 😭

Kams, thanks for your excellent update. You have commented on ACD's mannerisms and acting in general. But you've been away so long you forgot some of the new rules of updating. You forgot to comment on what he wore. I believe there were two scenes where he was in casuals -- at the police officers' mess and at home when Abhi appears. Hopefully he wasn't wearing long-sleeved shirts and black, brown or grey trousers. The term "stuffed shirt", meaning conservative or pompous, originated literally from shirts being tucked into the pants.
