I think Anwesha's biggest +ve is her technical prowess, Anwesha going out of sur is a rare phenomenon. Also i think she takes great trouble to pay extra attention to the song she is singing and ensures she gets every small bit right.

On the other hand Aish appears cool and bindaas but is quite calm and collected while singing, not to mention extremely adorable. Aish's biggest plus point is her soothing voice which I just love and her ability to connect with the listeners.

Anu, we should include the other contestants too, would love to talk abt Soniya as well 😛

well finally a sensible topic...

ANWESHA+ points
shes a technically finished singer. concentrates on sur and taal too the fullest. she gng outta sur is very very rare.thats where she wins half the hearts coz as they say " sur nahi gaya toh kuch nahi gaya" . sweet voice. very pleasing to hear. sings well wen it comes to high notes n lastly a very mature voice at this age.

AISHWARIYA's + points
different yet beautiful voice quality. she connects very well with the audience. the feel with which she sings is amazing. capable of creating a wonderful atmoshphere wen she sings. shes knws her qualities very well and puts them forth perfectly. lovable personality. good stage performer without loss of sur.(dats imp)

Anwesha:
Beautiful soprano voice, voice control in singing absolute, not only sur, taal, but colour, timbre, clear enunciation and feeling into words, real understanding of music behind the song, ability to make great and weird songs sound amazing...

I would rate it as a plus that she does not seem to be able to "act" in gajji's script, like giggling at Aishwarya in the quawali where they were supposed to be fighting...

nice downside: seems not to do so well when over-dressed in weird themes, but then she is so young...

Aishwarya:
Beautiful mezzo-soprano voice, lovely depth and timbre, clear enunciation, nice singing, real understanding of music, ability to do great justice to great songs, good actress and slips into the roles assigned to her, hence performances are good, confident personality.

nice downside: has sometimes lost concentration (don't know why) and those were her less than best performances, but then again, she is so young...

My observation ,Aiswarya sings in the same natural voice that she uses for talking, up or down no shade of falsetto. I consider this to be a very important attribute for a vocalist.

Aishwarya:
I love her voice quality (I could listen to her all day). I think she has developed great control of her sur and taal, which is truly admirable. She seems like she has a great personality, very outgoing, sweet and is able to cope under pressure. She also has a classical base, which is always something that I look for in contestants in these kinds of shows. I like that she seems so absorbed in her performances that she somtimes doesn't even notice that people are actually giving her a standing ovation (eg., Man mohana). I think she has a great capacity to connect with the audience, her expressions, both in her songs, and on her face (while she sings) are excellent...

Anwesha:
I think she has a very sweet, melodious voice (much like Shreya Ghoshal), she is also very pleasing to listen to. I also like that there is so much innocence in her voice. I adore her personality, as she seems like a very simple, down-to-earth, introverted and humble person - I actually have quite alot in common with her, as I too am very shy, reserved, introverted, tense (at times) and like detective stories. She has so much control, sounds so professional, at this age, it's amazing. Technically she is superb. Lots of variety in her voice and also she has great range. She also has a classical base, which I like. She puts alot of emotion in her singing and knows how to connect with her audience on an emotional and personal level...

well said Koeli😛..............i want to hear different types of songs from Aishwarya,till now i feel ke usko har type ke gaane nahi mile hai gaane ko while Anvesha se har type ke songs sunne ko mile hai,i know this two girls r capable of singing any kind of song........both the girls r doing excellent😛........n yes the suggestion is good ke dono ko same song perform karne ko do,maza aayega sunkar😛

Positives in both...hmmm, apart from oodles of talent that the two have, the other positive thing could be - both may have B positive blood group...😆 now,do they ?

They are both very good friends and are extremely supportive of each other. That is definately a very positive trait.
