Were the judges fair in their marks?

Friday episode saw some of the mindblowing acid test performances from the 3 very talented kids - Anwesha, Areeb and Soniya.... I think each of them sang equally well, and someone or the other was just a shade more or less than the other...

I personally felt that - the judges were not very fair with their marking if they just considered the acid test rendition!

Specially this question for Shreya - how can she give Anwesha 100 and Soniya and Areeb 80 and 82 when they were so close? Was she just trying to protect Anwesha at any cost? Wasnt it unfair to Areeb and Soniya?

Even Pritam gave very high marks to Anwesha and Kunal gave lower than deserving marks to Areeb...

A big supporter of Anwesha that I am, I felt that the judges just were not fair to Areeb in that marking to save Anwesha.. Yes, Areeb needed to go - but that performance of his definitely deserved higher marking from the judges!

u know jaya i thought exactly the same..meaning anwesha def is the best but areeb n soniya were not that far behind in the acid test performance...probably my marks for them would have been 95 for anwesha , 93 for soniya and 92 for areeb...areeb n soniya were almost equally good acc to me...

I agree - if only the acid test performances were to be considered.. I would probably give Areeb a 95, Soniya a 93 and Anwesha a 90! But, the decision seemed to be taken in totality for which poor Areeb had to suffer inspite of giving his 2nd best performance of the show (his topmost being Laaga Chunri me Daag)...

I somehow felt that even Shreya felt bad deep inside for giving an unfair 80 to Areeb and an unfair 100 to Anwesha and hence cried so much after that elimination!

ohh i dunno i liked anwesha's perf the most in acid test 😕 ...but like i said already all 3 were very close...and yeah i agree with one thing jaya that shreya prob was crying because she gave 100 to anwesha n 80 to areeb

Absolutely on the spot.

Agree Amrita that it is one of the toughest songs to sing.. And I am not saying that Anwesha did not sing well.. inspite of her not being well, she did.. but I personally found the other 2 renditions (just for the acid test) better.. May be, my expectations from that wonder-child is higher 😳

👏 for the analysis.My thoughts exactly.Shreya was crying her heart out because she felt some injustice was done to Areeb if only the acid test was taken into account.But,considering other performances,Areeb was the weakest link.

Areeb's Sanwre was at par with Anwesha's mausam ki adlabadli,if not better.

Yes I dont mind if judges were partial for Anwesha. She deserves this partiality. Whichever way you look at the result, the outcome would have been the same and Areeb had to leave. He was very inconsistent throughout this journey though at times very briliant. But if you campare him with others, he was the weakest and it was his turn last week.

Anwesha on the other hand maitained her No.1 spot regardless of how janta is voting, closely followed by Aishwarya. So Anwesha needs to be protected and judges knew that very well.

This show will loose half of its charm and TRPs if Anwesah gets eliminated any time soon.

If I add my 2 cents Judges took Anwesha, Areeb and Sonia's first performances into count also.

I don't think judges were unfair at all.

Even though all 3 may have been very close in the Acid test performances, Areeb was the weakest on 1st performance due to forgetting lyrics and could not finish song or was not allowed to after making mistake.

Areeb has had few weeks with weak performances and besides Prakriti he was next to go.

Although I loved his Acit test performance and felt really bad for him to leave. But this is how show goes and we have to accept.

Just my take on the whole thing.
