He is good for soft songs but I feel he is missing energy, enthusiasm and expressions. These make the song sound even better. He can definitely improve a lot but somehow I feel he is not there yet..

i agree too! ishmeet has always been a contestant for me that made no difference.. means.. i didnt hate hate him.. but i didnt love him either.. but for the past few week he has really cought my attention... when he started singing suno na.. it was just sooooo good! specially the beggininggg! that hee hee hoo hooo he did it amazingly well! and today too both his songs were gr8!!! he sure has a perfect voice for playback and i hope he reaches the top! 👏

i agree and i think that is one of the reasons he's kind of being overlooked by the judges....you'lln ever hear them talking of ishmeet. but he is really good......if he only puts some energy into it he could be excellent.

one thing to be noted is that i think all the contestants have some kind of training in music only Ishmeet does not. still he is holding his ground very nicely. without training if he can manage to stand against all others imagine with some training what he will do. judges should appreciate that.

His voice is very much suited for soft romantic songs... He has also sung the songs with Punjabi flavor and such with competence... Its almost unexpecting fo him, but he ends up making each song worth listening - his voice is very soothing and yes, fit for playback...

When they showed the clip of SRK-Rani from Chalte Chalte in yesterday's episode, I thought they were playing the original Suno na. Then I saw Ishmeet singing on stage and realized it wasn't Abhijeet's original from the film. Yes, Ishmeet does have a voice suited for soft, romantic playback duets. Maybe he needs more training and practice. For an untrained singer, he's given some impressive performances in the past.
