I have to say this...

but the makers of Star voice of India need to watch the movie Chak de India and learn a lesson from it. Stop introducing the contestants from what state they are ... or stop asking their state ppl to vote from them. They are all from India and Indians are voting for them for the voice of India... why why why do they must divide it further down into. It should be so-n-so, India!

I am not an active member of this forum hence not totally familar with the rules... I am sorry if this an in-appropriate post, or this topic has been discussed previously... but I just had to give my opinion...😊

I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU. MAKE THE TOPIC MORE RELEVANT TO DRAW PEOPLE'S ATTN. MAKE IT LIKE VOICE OF INDIA VS VOICE OF STATE " SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

THEY SHOULD JUST INTRODUCE THE CONTESTANTS AS A SINGER AND NOT THE STATE THEY BELONG TO . THEN ONLY THE GENUINE SINGER WOULD RECEIVE VOTES. SIMPLY THE NAME THATS ALL. NO NEED OF ANY OTHER INTRODUCTION. EARLIER IN SAREGAMA PA I DO NOT THINK THEY MENTIONED STATES NOW THEY ARE MENTIONING.WHY IS IT NECY. YOU ARE RIGHT.

and its better that these TV shows...who portray such attitude be banned or something!! You all know very well what other shows try to do the same thing...divide up India into pieces!!

You know unfortunately this very thing is the weakness in us. Those of us outside of India may have notice this - we are divide along regions. There is the Gujrati samaj, the Bengali group, the south India group etc. We rarely come together as Indians and as such have little political clout.

In the US with such large numbers of well educated Indians with money and status can not propel the politics. So this is nothing new.

Shaan said that Irfan is from South but the South does not watch the show much. So what? They should be asking India to vote.

I think the creatives of the show are only doing dis to generate TRPS and so the ppl support the person from thier state/city, which is not fair. It is star voice of INDIA dat means the India has to decide on the basis or singing, not state. 😊

I was thinking the same thing when I saw CDI especially the scene where Kabir meets the team for the first time.
Its sad that regionalism is a reality in such shows. But they know its a good way to create controversy and garner high trps. 😕
