did you know that the song you quoted from 'zeher', agar tum mil jao, zamaana chhod dengey hum, is out-an-out copied from a 1973 ghazal sung by pakistani female ghazal singer tasawwur khanam? 😉 i've the full flash video file of it. i can rightaway point to many other such lifts but my message is important. one more thing before i proceed further, did you know that it was vipin reshammiya who composed the music of tere naam that his son himesh used for getting into bollywood? want proof? google.com!

i guess the music director of zeher was anu malik. but even if it was somebody else, it doesn't matter a bit. 😆 i don't like to sound rude, but what i want to say is that this new-age indian music has become a cheapskate thanx to these new-age so-called 'music' directors. 🤢

even the 'good' ramlaxman who composed the tunes of maine pyar kiya straightaway lifted the theme from the baltimora album 'tarzan boys'. that was a revelation wasn't it? 😛

and if i say even respected music composers like laxmikant-pyarelal, kalyanji-anandji and the like lifted songs straightaway from tamil, telugu and malayalam originals, you'd all be shocked! already, eh? but at that time, there was not much information that was shared so the copying proof went unnoticed till 1997 when the internet boomed in india.

i've been listening and absorbing indian cinema music since i was seven years old. i've got enough proof of the plagiarism that's done in bollywood. rather than blindly become a dedicated follower of a guru, one should inquire in totality before giving any respect.

remember we're true human beings and we should be utmost honest and candid in coming forth out. god is watching us, as bette midler once put it.
