Soulful numbers from recent times

We often equate the songs of recent times to be all rhythm and beats with no soul... But, we have actually heard some good soulful numbers in recent times too, only they are lot rarer than the beat songs...

Prantika attempted 'Raat humaari to..' in Friday's episode, and I find that song to be very beautifully composed and wonderfully rendered.. Almost makes you cry...

Opening this thread to discuss the soulful songs that have been composed in the more recent times.. say 2000 and beyond...

not sure if dil se was released post 2000 but the song 'ae ajnabi' came instantly to my mind aftre reading your post

Yes, Raat hamari toh chaand ki saheli hai is one of the beautiful songs and now I am definitely in love with it 😳

Here I have some more, some of them are relatively less popular... but there is this something about them that is absolutely soul stirring....

O saathi re.... (Omkaara) - I would have loved to hear this in Sanchari's voice.. now, would want Arshpreet to render the same.... I personally find this as the best song of Omkaara and one of the most underrated songs last year....

Naam adaa likhna... (Yahaan) - Have not heard this song much, but haunts me a lot... I just love it...

Piya ho... (Water) - I think, all songs of Water are great, but this has touched a special chord

Goonji se hai, saari disha.. (Kyon ho gaya na) - Wonderful song to listen to... justice not done in picturization.. situation is even worse!

Oh wow - some beatiful songs mentioned by Arun too... I personally find Teri Deewani from Kailasa to be great to... But Allah ke bunde still remains special.. Have not listened to the new album yet...

Oh wow - many nice numbers mentioned.... so we do have soulful melodious numbers being composed these days as well... but probably they are not hyped/advertised as much as the fast beat numbers...
