4. What makes you like SVOI and what other shows do you watch

Some great talent in the budding contestants...👏 The other shows that I watch include Indian Idol, SRGMP (not regularly these days), KWK (most of the times), Nach Baliye (when in season), We the People and Viruddha 😊 And yes, Tom and Jerry shows on CN too 😛

5. The best thing about IF and your favorite section on IF

The platform to express myself without inhibitions, the platform to have discussions that are not too serious and yet interesting, thoughts of some like-minded and some not-so-like-minded people, and a quite and open and adaptive crowd! Love it here😳

Fav section - I have most of my friends in the srgmp section as that is where I have spent most of my IF time... But, I do enjoy the discussions in the VOI section a lot these days - Love reading the DM posts too... Also, I have found the members of II and NB sections to be very friendly and full of masti😛

When a swar become swarn?

Depends on whose swar it is... For Lata'ji, Asha'ji, Rafi Saab or Kishore'da - their swar is always swarna (golden)...😳 For Himesh - swar me 'N' ka asar zyaada ho, to woh bhi swarn ki tarah bikta hai😉 Its all a perspective you see😛

Hardly get spare time these days😭 Whatever I get - spend on IF (actually spend some non-spare time here too😆), watch movies, go out and shop😳 (Music is anyway there in all spare and non-spare moments.. so not mentioning separately😛)

Normal office wear would be salwars/churidaars... Occassionally sarees... Jeans and Skirts rarely on weekends

I used to be very shy... Have worked a lot on it, but would still call myself pretty reserved😳

Food - Whatever mum cooks😳... Drink - Water, bas yahi bujhaye pyaas.. baki sab bakwaas😆

Monday - koi shaq😆 This can change to Saturday or Sunday, agar us din bhi office aana padhe🤢

7. Wat time do u usually wake up?

😆 - Mera bas chale to bahut bahut der se uthu... 😳 but then, office kaun aayega😛 So - am typically up by 7:00 AM😭

some questions from me ...
1) what does music mean to you?

Really cant describe... I cant see a life without music.. Its through music, that I often indentify with the happy, sad, fun, shocking, mundane and interesting moments of life... its not just a relaxer, its probably the breather... so probably, I can just equate it to life 😊

2) what kind of music do you prefer?

I think the most softer kind..😊. In Hindi, golden era film music stands out.. Compositions from Senior and Junior Burman, Madan Mohan, Salil Chowdhury, Jaidev, Ravi is something I find myself enjoying the most... will add ghazals and folk based songs to it as well... In thre more recent times, have found myself identifying with ARR, Shankar Ehsaan Loy (some, not all), Shantanu Moitra, MM Kreem and Jatin Lalit... Listen a lot to bengali rabindrasangeet and adhunik too... Classical - do enjoy listening to, but am not equipped to appreciate it technically😭 And yes... hardly into western music 😳

3) some of your fav songs (from any/all genres)?

Oh just tooo many..😕... Just to list a few from the top of my head...

4) some of your fav movies?

Again tooo many... All the Hrishikesh Mukherjee movies (cant leave out any), also almost all movies of Satyajit Ray, Gulzaar, Basu Chatterjee... Some of the Chopra camp movies like Silsila or Lamhe... In the more recent times, some of the movies that I have enjoyed are Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya, Saathiya, Rang de basanti, Khosla ka Ghosla, Omkaara, Swades etc

5) you have such a fine ear for music ... hv u trained in music?

Not really.. I learnt Rabindrasangeet for a couple of years as a kid... Today, I really regret not to have spent the time on learning music..😭

On a date with 15 famous personalities 😲😲☺️ Kya aisa ho sakta hai😍 I am just assuming that its all one by one 😉😆 There are many famous personalities that I would love to meet as I admire them a lot😊, but here I am answering it from the angle you asked the question (and am only including alive men) 😉

Gift - I am really not sure... ok let me think 😳 I may write 10 names here...😊

1. Amitabh Bachchan - Spend the evening by a fireplace with him reading out for me 'Kabhi kabhi mere dil me khayal aata hai' ☺️... Cant think of anything at this moment to gift him... probably send some chocolates for him and Jaya'ji 😊

2. Gulzaar - Spend a day just quitely watching him how he writes such wonderful poetry, creates such beautiful movies 😊.. gift him a pen to provide concrete shape to his magic 😳

3. Daniel Vettorri - Spend a day watching him play cricket and bowl me out rather than the batsmen😛... gift him with a new set of specs.. i looks too cute in them😛

4. Rahul Sharma - Oh what else, but just listen him play all day long in his own unique style 😳... cant think of what to gift him... probably carry a nice perfume for him

5. Kunal Kapoor - Host a KWK kind of show with him, and ask all his secrets😉... Will gift him a nice white shirt and blue denims.. I think he will look awesome in that 😳

6. Andre Agassi - Would actually want not to meet him alone, but his family too (Steffi and Andre continue to remain all time favs)... So go with them to a family picnic... Take some gifts for the kids 😊

7. Srikanto Acharya (Bengali Rabindrasangeet singer) - Again, spend the entire day by the sea-shore just listening to him singing just for me😳 - Present him with his own collection of CDs, get it autographed and take it back😆

8. Abhishek Bachchan - Spend the evening just talking to him trying to understand why he married Aishwarya Rai Gift - hand over a letter at the end of the meeting where Ash says that she is walking out of the reln.😆 (just kidding😛)

9. Rahul Gandhi - not that I am particularly interested to spend time with him.. but would use the opportunity and spend time in 10 Janpath to really see what happens inside India's biggest powerhouse😉 No gift for him - high chances that there would be a scam around that gift 😆

10. Abhijeet Bhattacharya (as requested by Anu) - spend the day with him watching a shoot of voi... studio ke andar ke raaz pataa karne hai na...😆 would also ask him to sing 'Main koi aisa geet gaoon' for me😊.. Gift - woh to Alka didi ne hi pichhle season me de diya tha.. ab main aur kya doon😆
