Group D - Again a tough choice?

Group D will have 9 singers (remember we ended up with 33 contestants from the auditions instead of 32) - and now we have 11 already selected in 'bemisaal 12'.. So are we saying that only 1 will go through from the 9? Now that is a monsterous task!! Even if the judges select 3, even then it looks like a very tough group.. The contestants are:

Sushim
Prantika
Rahul
Ira
Supriya
Toshi
Arindam
Saptaparna
Harshid

Toshi, Harshid, Saptaparna - clear favorites, I guess... Prantika, Rahul, Arindam - some other great audition round performances... Who do you think will make it?

I am changing my ranking 😛 In place of Harshit at 1 and Saptparna 2, I would go with:

1. Saptparna
2. Prantika
3. Harshit

Saptparna's voice quality I feel is very soothing and unique... Harshit might be suited to a certain kind of songs - will have to listen more to be able to say how good he is... And prantika I feel is a very talented girl - I would want these to go through in this order...

Saptaparna has got such a unique voice... Melodious and yet not shrill... Something that is very very rare... Looking fwd to listen to her...

As Sachin says, next week promo also shows 10 to be awarded to some singers... are the judges a bit too liberal in giving out 10s? Perhaps!

its now a dog-fight. The judges will have a very tough time eliminiating anyone. I have a feeling that they may go with more that 12 finalists since so many participants are good.

Already we feel the pinch when we see so many talented voices part us... Am wondering what is going to happen in the Bemisaal round! Almost all the finalists are so very talented... It would be a mammoth task to see them go one by one..... If I was a judge, I would surely run away from this task 😆 I think, they will also be a little relieved now that they alone will not be taking the tough decisions from now on... They can put 50% of the blame on the junta 😆

Maybe the judges will award 10 as 'sung with flaws but granted for potential' and then start awarding 12, 14, 15 as good, very good and excellent?!

Seems they need to launch VOI 2 featuring the talented losers who should have been in the finals.Then a play-off or rather sing-off between top 4 of each group.

I would definitely want to see a wild card round... and have a contest between Sanchari, Sayantani, Tanushree, Sreeram, Karishma, Chaitanya etc participating... Hope to see that happening!

Toshi is a clear favorite. He's got the training, voice, popularity. I feel he'll also be good for the show and ratings.
The way the judges praised him after his piya re, wow!!
If he's eliminated in the top 33 round, it won't make them look good.
