Rule to be Followed in the Section!!

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the Star Voice of India Section. Hope you all are enjoying the show and wish you all a very pleasant time here.

It is time now to first introduce you all to some ground rules we will ALL adhere to here in this section, if we want to keep this forum friendly and musical. In recent times it seems we are deviating off very frequently from certain basic rules.

The SVOI Dev Team has come up with certain ground rules that we will all be following from now onwards, effective today :

1. This section is meant for discussing the show SVOI. Please stick to that. Appreciate the show, discuss its strengths and weaknesses, but please DO NOT compare it with any other show .
   

1. Do not discuss the weaknesses or demerits of any other musical reality show here. No discussion on any of those shows, their formats, mentors, judges or participants will be entertained here. They all have their respective sections. We DO NOT want to see any degrading talks , any insinuations or any digs direct or indirect on any other musical show here. Those found to do so will be dealt with very strictly.
   

1. Please stop making topics or discussing why talent should be from India only. Music never had any boundaries and neither will anyone create here. We respect your individual opinions here. But sometimes these opinions can hurt the sentiments of members of those countries spoken against and have serious repurcussions. We do not want that. Anyone found discussing it will face serious action.
   

1. While discussing the show, DO NOT bring regionalism talks or religious bias or sentiments here. It is a musical war, not a religion war, neither it is a inter country war. Refrain from posting such threads Anyone found making any offending comment about a country, its culture, religion or people per se, will be dealt with very strictly by the Development Team.
   
   
   
2. While discussing the episodes, please stick to the performance of the participants. Do not comment on their lifestyle, looks, dressing, or anything that is not related to their singing. Such discussions can hurt and offend some . Do not even make comments that can instigate a fight. Anyone found not following this rule will be dealt with very strictly.
   

1. Do NOT attack the mentors, show directors, participants or fellow members. You can comment on their comments or expressions, but DO NOT get personal.
   

1. If any of you find any thread or post not to your liking DO NOT retaliate here or start a fight. Make use of the 'REPORT' button and let us know. We are here to solve the issues, please allow us do so..
   

1. Profanity is a strict 'NO NO' in this section, we do not wish to see any harsh, insulting, abusive or slang words used here. ANYONE using profane or abusive language here will face strict action from the Dev Team.
   

1. Please avoid making posts that is abusive, derogatory, insulting or sarcastic enough to affect the sentiment of another member. Such posts will be dealt with very strictly. Also for such posts members are being asked to use report button and not create a scene on the open forum. Members doing that will also be dealt strictly. No topic can be such that only some particular set of members can post. Every member has the right to post in any topic they want to just that the post should adhere the rules of IF.
   

1. Do not start threads inquiring about show updates or videos. Updaters have been already selected who will do the job regularly. Show updates or videos will surely get posted. So, please have a little patience. Such threads will be trashed without any notice.
   

1. DO NOT post videos of the shows sourced from other forums. Videos of the shows will be posted ONLY by the selected videobies. Others please do not do it.
   

1. Fan clubs are not allowed here. There is a section dedicated to Fan clubs. Should you want to open a fan club , please do so, but NOT here, open it at the following section : Celebrity Fan Clubs
   

1. All non musical topics will require a consent or approval from the SVOI Dev team before being opened. Any such topic if found opened without the permission of the Dev team will be trashed immediately without any notice to the member. Non adherence to the rule can lead to warning as well.
   

1. Please be reminded that no non topic /off topic mundane chatting will be entertained in threads. If you have to discuss, discuss the topic or responses in the topic related to the topic. Non topic chatting makes the threads look unimpressive and also the continuity of the discussion gets lost.
   
   
2. When you open a discussion topic do check if the same discussion is going on or not. Please don't open seperate topics discussing the same subject. It makes the forum look untidy. Dev Team may close such topics.
   
   
3. It is quite possible that the same article or interview may get posted many a times in a day by different members. So, before you post an article, check the last couple of pages to make sure it has not been posted before. Please avoid redundancy. Such articles will be trashed by the Dev Team without any notice.
   
   
4. Please do not open threads to voice issues on the section functioning. If you have any such issue, kindly contact the Dev Team and get it sorted out. Such threads or posts will not be entertained and trashed immediately.
   
   
5. Do not open welcome or goodbye threads. They also fall in the non musical category.
   
   
6. Do not quote the long posts. It makes the pages look messy. Quote only the portion you want to comment on.
   
   
7. Please STOP spamming. It makes the topics and the threads look messy.
   
   
8. Personal topics asking about the where about or anything personal regarding any other member will not be allowed to be opened. They too fall under the same category as Rule #13. And hence the same action will be followed by the Dev Team as pointed out in Rule #13.
   
   
9. Please always provide the source of articles. Do not post articles from other forums here.

23. Articles from Tellychakkar and Indiantelevision are Not to be posted

24. While posting articles from Tellybuzz, only give the link to the article. Do Not copy and paste the entire article here

26. No spoof articles will be allowed in the section.. The basic reason is many start using abusive language and things that break the above mentioned rules.. So, please see to it that you don't post any spoofs.

We can all make this section our second home. So let's try to keep our home as neat and clean and friendly as possible, let us enjoy as well and set an example for others to follow.😊

Hi Friends,

You all can take this as a warning or request. Recently some of you are getting into the habit of taking pot shots at fellow members on regular basis. Especially if they make any post criticising something regarding the show.

You cannot take personal digs at them. You feel the criticism is wrong, reply to it properly within the limits of IF COC. What some of you are doing is breaking the COC.

Also IF is as a whole a forum where any member can post anywhere. No member can be grouped as from "This section" or "That section" member. If any member is again found making such posts while attacking fellow members the Dev Team will be forced to take action.

This section is a section for a reality show which can always have drawbacks. So be prepared to hear criticisms too. Something that is followed in other sections too. Already the section is hardly active. The Dev Team here is trying its level best to get more trafic to participate.... But these behaviours of few are turning them all away from the section. For Gods sake don't turn the section into a Fan Club Section. To get more participation both side discussions are needed and not just praise.

We hope that in future members would stay away from making such posts. Please don't force us to take action against you all.
