The rocking episode yesterday has increased the expectations from the show by leaps and bounds... whether the show will be able to stand up to the standard set by indore.... Whether the new city will give us those nice voices.... lets see what this show has in store for us today......
Brief update on the show:
The auditions in Kolkata and Indore have already been telecasted..... 6 singers from kolkata were selected while 7 singers are selected from Indore. Kolkata episode was not up to the mark but Indore really set the standards for the episode..... now to today's episode
Today the auditions in Mumbai will be telecasted.....
The show starts with shaan's performance "Main hun don" Wooooow shaan is looking really cool today with black shirt and dark grey suit and goggles......
As usual a rocking performance from Shaan to start the show👏 he ended the song with "Main hun shaan"
Within the song he greeted mumbaikars with typical "Mumbai kase kay" means "Mumbai how r u"😃
Then shaan greets people and says that we are here to select that voice which has ability to become voice of india. and its historical to have auditions on open air stage. They showed all the people coming and their comments on how difficult was it to come and other things. They showed a big crowd outside gate.
He welcomes the four judges to stage with typical adjectives for them. Aadesh has been called Nayab nagmon ke nawab i think yesterday he was called suron ka pujari.... other adjectives were the same😆..... Ohh Jatin Pandit also came today....👏
Then he introduced saat hindusthani, Datta rana (dabbawala) Nisha jain (homemaker), manju (Music teacher), Satosh (Peon), Manjula (teacher), Raj (Student), Surendra (Marketing).......
First contestant: Sushim dey from bangalore
He dropped some exams he sings "Dil ne tumko chun liya hain" I felt he is week on the surs, the surs were shaking... But he has very nice voice...
Abhijeet: bade din baad mard ki aawaj suni
Alka: bhari voice hain, romantic songs ke liye acchi hain
Aadesh: puri mumbai ne sun liya tumhe
Jatin lalit: Voice quality acchi hain, original voice, cinematic voice hain

Second contestant Sai Tambekar from pune:
She sings "Kuch na kaho".... She seemed quite nervous while singing... her surs were not perfect throughout.... some places she was good some places not that good....

He sings "Soniye Soniye" from Aksar
He has nice voice, he sang well. but cant be said excellent... but he has awesome voice..👏

She has very nice melodious voice, I have nt heard this song before and also cd nt hear the lyrics properly... but she was clear ...😆 I cd nt get words with which the song started...
Shaan says she sang well but will know from judges after break (Panch parmeshwar)

He has a real nice voice, but again may get comment on originality of voice😆.... Since this song is sung by Alkaji, I am expecting tough comments from her... He is okk with surs....😊 I would say he sang well... better than many others today😊... he emoted the song well..
Aadesh: You are really good person from heart I think... U sounding completely professional
Abhijeet: U are good singer and u did not sing to ur potential but u are a real good person
Alka: U used a lot of feeling but could be better
Jatin Lalit: There is room to progress
Eighth Contestant: Rani Hazarika
She says she has distinct voice and hence can go ahead
She sings: "Aisa mera pyaar hain"
She was completely out of surs in the song.... Her voice is not suitable and she was shouting

Abhijeet: This song should be to bring the lover nearby ... but u sounding like u will bring the news channels and beat ur lover😆

Abhijeet: Some people would be thinking that why they came to VOI. They could have gone to other shows which are giving chances to besura singers... This is singing platform and not railway platform.......
Aadesh says that its good that its open air auditions as if they become stars in future they will have to sing on stage in open air

Only two good singers... Rahul also has nice voice but was nt selected saying that voice is not original😕.... While sushim is selected for wonderful voice...
