Gauri maharashtra did not speak about all other state people.... it was only for UP bihar people who produce a lot of population and comes to mumbai in masses build huts everywhere, spit everywhere and yes there is a limit to the population mumbai can accommodate.... they cant certainly take laks of people from UP and bihar every year.....

The way of telling is wrong but the thing that they said is right.... Maharashtra does nt have a religional or castism politics till date but now this samajwadi and all wanna come there and do caste politics with dalit and all issues which are prevalent in their states.... i will shoot myself before voting for laloo or mulayam in my state😛

i both agree and diagree with you. marathis are the most peaceful people you will find. they cannot be represented by thackeray and his narrow-mindedness. I personally being a marthi know that just like punjabis and gujartis, u.p. ites and biharis, hav a ot of similiarities similiarly Marathis and bengalis are very similiar. Our culture, language is very similiar. we both have tradition of music, art and culture, lit. etc. Being a benagli in maharthasthra is no problem at all!
But i don't like U.P. and Bihar being rep. by laloo and mulayalam. Even they as states should be respected. I agree a lot of crime happens there, and they are called the 'badlands' or 'cow-strech'. But i also believe
that there a lot of good people there. Deepali from bihar was the best in indian idol 3- sadly lost out due to votes. she was also one of the most mature and likeable contetsants in any reality shows. Siliarly U.P. has its own culture found in the nawabi sheer of luckow on one hand and the rustic earthly beauty od benaras on the other. So each people has its own beauty

You sure Raj T is better than the likes of laloo or mulayam😉
You say the things they say is right, I say both what they say and how they say is totally wrong and anti-national unity. Sab apney apney perspective ki baat hai. It's funny to see people getting all het up over caste based quotas but supporting whole heartedly divisive politics based on state boundaries😆
Anyways, all this is not related to asvoi. I still feel Rahul is bending backward with his jai maharashtra just to avoid the xenophobia that is so prevalent in certain classes of people of that state. Not all are radicals and delusional like RT but some do support him. Rahul chanting jai maharashtra over and over again does not get on my nerves but the divisive politics of thackreys and their so called supporters definitely do🤢
As far as judges joining in on rahul's chantings...well, they all are "outsiders" settled in mumbai after all. what else do you expect sorry state of affairs and maharastra politics at its worst getting reflected in this realty show. nothing more nothing less.

very well wrriten Gauri, I wish I could write like you but I don't have that command over language. And coming to cast quota that is very much prevalent in all government jobs in Maharastra, that decision is to be accpeted by all states under Indian constitution and Maharastra till now is in India.

Let me clarify....
I am not against the people from UP and bihar working in Maharashtra.... I am against the quantity of people in which they migrate..... and also against their leaders coming in elections in maharashtra.... they should first clean up their own states before making other places dirty.... IMO
There was one person here was telling the story.... He was going in car and was crossing border of bihar to go to some ganga river bank place for holy reasons.... and he could see all goons with rifles in hand walking and on bikes.... they stop car and loot you.... so he was told not to tell goons that you are from mumbai.... Another incident is the bank i was working in and my friend was in Gorakhpur branch.... He said that people came in with guns in their hands and have threatened him many times if he rejects their loan application.... its not the question of culture its the question of respect and that has to be earned.... neither raj thakrey nor mulayam or laloo can earn it IMO😛
By the way its easy for people to oppose me because they all have not witnessed the flooding caused on 25th and 26th july 2005 in mumbai which was caused because of reducing riverbanks for accommodating the evergrowing population..... i have witnessed those deadly floods.... sorry if someone is hurt with my opinions....😛

I agree with Amukta , Gauri3, Indradhanush , and mintyblue all. Kabhi_21 has got it little mixedup here. Rahul's chants of Jai Maharashtra nothing but pleasing marathis as now people of other states are paranoid to be staying in Maharshtra. People like Raj-T have spoilt it all and now good educated people e of UP - Bihar have started fleeing the state as they can manage anywhere in the world as Raj - T wants his own country called Maharshtra. UP has lakhs of rajasthanis, biharis, bengalis Uttranchalis ,MPits , punjabis living and thriving in the UP doing better than UPites in business and everything people of UP have lived together with them for ages without any show of discontent. It should be just Jai India and nothing else in these trying times of terrorism and all!! So Rahul and alll the other contestents it should be just Jai India and you will get votes.

Do you think there are no goons in Maharashtra ?? Think again . Only they are more organised and sophisticated and not gullible enough to be caught by people easily. There is no doubt that political leadership in these states (UP Bihar) is at fault but why target simple folks of the states who want to earn braed and butter for their family thats all. People like Raj _ T should handle it at the political level not by starting this hate game and filling people's hearts and minds with hatred for each other. See thta some concrete decisions are taken , see that some positive policys are made . Do not just be paranoid about winning elections and holding positions . Do some social work for people afterall they are all your fellow countrymen and not some cockroaches!!!

If you read my earlier post and y complete answer you will find that I have read all your paragraphs and have answered also all of them. I have asked the political ledership of maharshtra and , UP , Bihar ALL should sit on the tables and make some concrete plans to deal with the situaton and see people are well settled and happy. It would suit Mr Raj better if he does some social work rather than getting people beaten up!!Not leaving goons after poor helpless ones and destroy their livelihood!! Why not be magnanimous and do some social work in other states like UP Bihar without the worry of of winning elections then probably these netas of UP/Bihar will also learn some manners . But if he asks his goons to beat uo poor helpless people and unnecessarily target AB and others and pick up whimsical issues then he is in fact worst than these UP Bihar Netas because he is not only harming one state he is harming National Integrity and whole ethos of India!!!

Before finding fault in Bihar and other place , Raj T and co. should get rid of terrorists and underworld from Mumbai , what about Naxalite problem in rural Maharastra and suicide death among farmers there, why doesn't Raj T and Co clean their own house before embarking on Maratha vs others..?If Rahul and others chant Jai Maharastra this is simply because of paranoid spread by these goons.
Delhi's population has doubled in last 20 years and there is a lot of immigrants there so should Punjabis start acting on similar line..?

And Kolkata is flooded with immigrants from Bangladesh, Bihar and other places, now it is routine to see floods in Kolkata after rain which we didn't see before, does it mean we should pick up sticks and start beating non Bongs there..??

(sigh)

oh wow! I'm so touched! 😆

phir shuru......😆 If I am not mistaken, this "quantity" of people is the major problem our country faces. Last I knew, all states were contributing some what equally to this ever growing "quantity". One does not need visa or work permit across different state borders in their OWN country. Your gripe about "quantity" should be nation specific rather than region specific.
and also against their leaders coming in elections in maharashtra.... they should first clean up their own states before making other places dirty.... IMO
Pretty much all politicians are equally filthy and make their respective constituencies equally dirty. As long as Maharashtra is part of India, anyone, I repeat, ANYONE of Indian nationality has equal claim to the land and resources of Maharashtra just like Maharashtriyans' claim to other parts of India. Whole nation is dirty as far as politics goes and Maharashtra is no exception. No matter how you justify it.

aaahhh...so many he saids, she saids. Going by the hearsays, I have heard whole bunch of stories about taxi drivers or milkmen getting beaten up or manhandled in Mumbai. Well, last I knew, underworld and dawood are mumbai's paidaish. They still are considered a national shame. Not just Maharashtra's shame. When it comes to gundagardi, our country is pretty much equal opportunity game irrespective of state or region or language.
Pitai ki koi bhasha naheen hoti. Bihari mein lagey ya marathi mein, utnaa hee dukhta hai😆

Hey bud, you really think mumbai is the only place crumbling under growing population😕 This is the scene with all Indian metropolitans pretty much. Toh kya karey. Sab doosron ko peetney lagey kya
I feel your concerns about your native state are well grounded. Locha yeh hai ki you are contributing all those problems to absolutely wrong causes. All the causes sighted by you have roots somewhere else. Root cause here is corruption, dirty politics and divide and rule that's prevalent pretty much all over India. Inn politicians ki koi jaat naheen hoti na hee koi praant hota hai. Bas kuchh log ko bargala ker apni gaddi kayam rakhtey hain. Unfortunately, some do fall for their twisted tales. Fortunately, many don't...and this is what keeps my India going😊
