The show will breathe its last on July 26.

Rajan Shahi's Amrit Manthan is all set to bid adieu to its viewers. The channel has decided to pull the plug on it and it will end on July 26. Launched on February 26, last year at 8.30 pm, Amrit Manthan was later shifted to 7.30 pm to accommodate Savitri. But the change in the time slot resulted in dip in the ratings of the show. Apparently, the show got an extension till September this year but the channel has put an end to it abruptly. Says a source, "Amrit Manthan was doing well for the channel at 8.30 pm --- it's original time slot. It shouldn't have been shifted in the first place.

Savitri --- the show that replaced AM --- isn't doing great either. We don't know if ratings is an issue but the decision has been abrupt. The treatment to the show is unfair. The cast and crew of the show will be officially informed sometime next week." When contacted, actress Adaa Khan confirmed the news, "Yes, the show is going off air. It's unfortunate and I am going to miss shooting for the show."

Oh! Sad news! 😭 ... But have to believe as it's being conformed by Adaa... Will miss the AM cast...Hope they'll come in new shows soon..

Angad took up AM to give more interesting turns for the show & he didn't like his role in Savitri . We will not get to see Karan & Nimrit romance & family life & thier kids .

this was bound to happen... after killing Agam this show totally disappointed the viewers

I was expecting this, unfortunately... 😒 good luck and I hope all the cast especially Angad finds interesting work soon.
