Navi-Dimple as Agam-Nimrit Continued... (My Story, PART 7)
We start off from the point where Agam and Nimrit are sitting on their bed. Agam is looking rustically handsome and quite macho, bare-chested with white pajamas, and has his arms around Nimrit. Nimrit is looking way too cute in Agam's white kurta, and is hugging Agam with her all love and care in the world.
They are both reminiscing old times, times they shared with one another, times when they wanted to say so much more than met the eyes, times when they felt new emotions that they had never felt before, times when they felt so restless yet so calm! Seems like they have had so much history together, despite the short amount time they've been married for. They both have new things to discover about one another, yet they feel quite content knowing whatever little they have known about each other so far. Agam wants to tell his Nimrit ji about how she brought out all the changes in him, how she changed his life, how he values all those precious little moments that he shared with her, and will cherish them forever.
Agam: Pata hai Nimrit ji, us din jab hum dono Maa ko leker ghumne nikle the, aur baarish hone lagi thi?
Nimrit: Hmm (She remembers the moment and feels like she can listen to Agam all day, all night long!).
Agam: Jab main chata lekar aapke paas aa raha tha, toh maine dekha ki aap apne haathon ko kholkar baarish ke mausam ka mazaa le rahi hai. Aur jab main aapke paas aaya, toh aapne shararati andaz main chate ko phenk diya aur mujh par pani cheet kar bhagne lagi. Phir main bhi aapke piche bhagne laga, aur aise hi khelte, bhagte hum dono itne kareeb aa gaye, aur phir mujhe ehsaas hua ki main sirf ek khoobsurat sapna dekh raha tha.
Nimrit: Agar sach main aisa hota, toh kitna maza aata na? Mujhe baarish ka mausam bahut pasand hai. Aapne phir mere paas aakar woh sab kuch kyon nahi kiya jo aapne apne sapne main dekha?
Agam: Aapke paas aate hi main aapse kuch kehna chahta tha, lekin phir aap mujhse door bhagne lagi aur phir aapke pair main moch aa gayi.
They both remember that moment, and how Agam had then taken her in his arms. They both smile.
Nimrit: Toh phir aapko pyaar ka ehsaas kab hua Agam ji?
Agam: Woh toh mujhe bhi pata nahi chala. Aapki sari baaton par mujhe pehle gussa aaya karta tha (refers to the time when Nimrit scolded him about calling his Mother Budhiya, when she told him off for not being responsible and living off his Dad's wealth, the time when he decided to leave the house without thinking about her and his Mother), lekin dheere dheere aapki woh sari baatein mujhe achchi lagne lagi. Aur jab main aapke khayalon main khone laga, tab Bandook ne mujhe ehsaas dilaya.
Nimrit: Tej ji? Unhe pata chal gaya, aur aapko nahi?
Agam: Are, mujhe kaise pata chatla. Maine pehle kabhi kisise pyar kiya hai kya? Aur na hi main woh sari filmein dekhta hu ki jisse mujhe pata chale ke kab pyaar hota hain! Aap to kitni filmi banti hain, aur aapko bhi to pata nahi chala!
Nimrit: Lekin shaadi toh aapne mujhse ki thi, toh phir pyaar ka izhaar bhi aapko hi karna chahiye na?
Agam: Are maine toh us din aapke liye gajra bhi liya tha. Aur pata hai Bandook mujhe dekh kar itna has raha tha?
Nimrit: Gajra? Lekin aapne to mujhe koi gajra nahi diya?
Agam: Woh us din hi kitchen main aag lag gayi thi, aur uske baad... khair...
Nimrit: Pata hai Agam ji, jab main palace wapas chali gayi thi, toh mujhe har pal bas aapse milne ka khayal aata tha!
Agam: Toh phir aap aayi kyon nahi?
Nimrit: Kaise aati, aapne mujhse rishta todkar chale gaye the...
Agam: Main? Main aapko chod kar gaya tha ki aap mere saath aana nahi chahti thi?
Nimrit: Main to hamesha aap ke hi saath rehna chahti hu Agam ji (Looks at him, gives him a sweet peck on his cheek and hugs him again).
Agam then tells him how he used to drive his bike when she was not with him, and feel sometimes that she was sitting just behind him, with her arms wrapped around him. And then he would stop and turn around and find no one behind him. He says that he missed her a lot and tried to call her so many times, even came to the palace a few times to see her. Nimrit is surprised that no one informed her Agam had come. But then says that she missed him a lot too. She used to dream that Agam has come to her room to take her with him, back to his house, back to where she really belongs. She describes this one time when she really thought her was there with her.
Nimrit: Agam ji, pata hai ek din jab main apne kamre main khidki ke bahar dekh rahi thi, toh maine dekha ki aapki bike niche thi. Main ek dum se khush ho gayi aur peeche mudte hi maine dakhe ki aap mere kamre ke darwaaze par khade hai. Aapki aakhon main halke halke aasoon the, aur main bhi ro rahi thi, aur aapne aakar mujhe apne gale laga liya. Aapne mujhe apne saath aane ke liye kaha aur main turant ha kar di. Phir main seediyon se aapke saath neeche utarne lagi aur bahar jaane par dekha ki apki bike waha hai hi nahi. Aur peeche mudne par yeh bhi ehsaas hua ki aap mere saath the hi nahi.
Agam: Lekin ab to hum dono saath hai na?
Nimrit: (Looks at him and smiles) Haa, aur hamesha rahenge.
Agam: Aapko dhabe ka pehla din yaad hai? Jab hum dono ek saath khana khane baithe, aur kaise hum dono ne ek hi thali se khana khaya tha? Hum dono ne ek hi saath roti pakdi, aur phir ek his saath sabzi bhi lene ki koshish kari, aur phir daal bhi ek saath! Aur phir aap aise sharmayi, aise sharmayi ki mujhe to ek pal ke liye laga ki main apne haathon se hi aapko khila du!
Nimrit: Haan, aur jab aapne palace main mujhe apne haathon se khana khilaya, toh mujhe bahut achcha laga. Mujhe laga ki bas main roz haathon main mehndi laga loon, aur aap waise hi roz mujhe pyaar se khana khilate rahein.
Agam: Haa, toh main roz khila sakta hu, aapko uske liye mehndi lagane ki zaroorat nahi hai!
Nimrit: Theek hai, main roz aapko khilaungi, aur aap roz mujhe. Lekin agar Mummyji dekhengi to kya sochengi?
Agam: Maa toh yeh dekh kar khush ho jayegi ki hum dono main kitna pyaar hai!
Both look at each other and laugh. Agam remembers how she had fed him during the cycle marathon. And remembers how she supported him throughout those 3 days.
Agam: Aapko pata hai, cycle marathon jeetne ke baad, mujhe laga ki main aapko apni bahon me lekar khushi se jhoom uthu. Itni takleef aur thakavat hone ke bawjood bhi mujhe sirf khushi ka ehsaas tha. Aur phir doosre din, jab aapne uthne ke baad, mere baalon ko apne haathon se sawara, aur mere chehre ko chua, tab mujhe bahut achcha laga.
Nimrit: Kya? Aap us vaqt jaag rahe the? Mujhe to laga tha ki aap so rahe hain!
Agam: Woh maine socha ki agar main jag jaoonga, to phir aap mujhse door chali jayengi. Waise bhi main aapse kuch nahi keh pata. Aapne jab mere pairon ko dabaaya, tab bhi maine aapse kitna kuch kaha, lekin aapne meri nahi suni.
Nimrit: Haa toh aapne bhi mere pairon main woh cream lagayi thi. Pata hai main kitna uncomfortable feel kar rahi thi?
Agam: Achcha ji? Tab toh aap man hi man muskura rahi thi, aur ab kah rahi hai ki uncomfortable feel kar rahi thi?
Nimrit: (Shies off) Aur maine jab aapka haath pakad kar dhabe ka menu likha tha, tab aap kaise mujhe dekhar man hi man khush ho rahe the?
Agam: Woh, woh to main soch raha thi ki free main teacher ji mil gayi! (Smiles cheekily).
Nimrit: Aap baatein bahut banane lag gaye hain...
Agam: Aap hi se seekh raha hu (Smiles cheekily again).
Nimrit: (Smiles) Achcha, toh phir aap meri achchi aadatein kyun nahi seekhte? Roz Vahe Guru se prarthana kijiye, man saaf aur khush rakhiye, logon se gussa ho kar baat mat kijiye...
Agam: Are, aap mujhe itna badal chuki hain, kya itna kafi nahi hai? Ab mujhe yeh sab bhi karna padega?
Nimrit: Bilkul!
Agam: Yeh shaadi hai ya barbaadi?
Nimrit: Kya?
Agam: Are, isse pehle ki aap mujhse naraz ho jaaye, main to mazak kar raha tha!
They both look at each other and laugh.
Agam: Pata hai, dhaba khulne ke baad jab Maa ke kehna par, hum dono Gurdware gaye the?
Nimrit: Haan, us din itni zoron se hawa chal rahi thi. Aur mere saare baal aapke upar ud ud ke aa rahe the (Visualizes the scene and giggles).
Agam: Aur aap mujhe kaise zoron se pakdar baithi thi? (Remembers how Nimrit was holding onto him so tight and even though he felt it was strange, he found it funny yet endearing).
Nimrit: Woh aap hi to kehta the ki pakdar baithye, warna kab gir jayengi pata hi nahi chalega!
Agam: Lekin maine itni zoron se pakdne ko to nahi kaha tha?! Khair, jab hum Gurdware pahuche aur aap Pathi ji se baatein kar rahi thi, tab ek rishtedaar ne aakar mujhse kaha ki hum dono ki jodi bahut sundar dikhti hain. Main to ekdum hi chup ho gaya aur aapke saamne yu dekhne lag gaya, ki mujhe pata hi nahi chala ki woh kab chale gaye.
They both look at one another and laugh one more time. They are both now feeling quite sleepy. Agam yawns.
Nimrit: Aap thodi der ke liye so jaiye Agam ji. Phir humein uth kar dhabe par bhi jaana hai.
Agam: Aur aap kya karengi?
Nimrit: Main toh loud music chalakar dance karungi! (Smiles cheekily while Agam has his mouth wide open) Obviously, main bhi thodi der ke liye so jaungi.
Agam: (Thinks Nimrit is becoming very naughty, but finds her extremely cute in every form) Hmmm (Kisses her on her forehead).
Both lie down and sleep, though there's only a few hours to rest, before the world wakes up and starts the daily chores. Agam and Nimrit have to start their daily lives together as well, but unique, different, sweet, simple yet magical in their own little way!

(Sorry guys, this didn't turn out as great as I wanted it to be, just low on creative ideas at the moment, and couldn't come up with new nice little moments in flashbacks)
