TOI: Parul back with Amrit Manthan

Rajan Shahi's find, Bidaai girl, Parul Chauhanwas laying low for quite some time ever since her show 'Pratha' on Colors went off air. To those uninitiated, Chauhan had replaced Shalini Chandran to play the protagonist in the show.

The actress, who was waiting for a good role to come her way, is finally been offered a cameo appearance by her mentor Shahi. Chauhan will be seen in Amrit Manthan as Amrit (Adaa Khan's) friend. She will attend Amrit's wedding and will also do a lot of naach-gaana in the show. She will perform to Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali from Karisma Kapoor starrer Zubeida.

Rajan, who has always supported his proteges be it Angad Hasija, Kinshuk Mahajan and now Parul Chauhan, says, "Parul is a good actress and a competent dancer. She was apt for this cameo role." Finally, we can see the lady back on the tube.
