Songs I started loving by watching Amita ka Amit

Was feeling nostalgic about our Amit-Ammu since its the weekend and we have no telecast and also by reading nan's post here of their love story.
This post is about the songs that were used in Amita ka Amit aptly for situations. Two of them got added to my all-time favorite list just because of Ammu and Amit. One was "Darmiyaan". I didn't pay attention to the song when I saw the movie but the way it portrayed the heartbreak of Amita and the confusion of Amit in the initial days of their marriage was so touching and so relevant, I could not help but cry everytime this song was played in the background:

The other song that I had never heard of was "Mera Mann". I had relocated to the US then and had not been listening to Indian FM radios to hear this song. but I heard it first when Amita had realised she is in love with Amit-remember the extra sugar in tea and the shamelessly staring time during Atul's wedding prep? Again, this song was so apt that I ended up watching the movie just for this song. the movie was not so great but I simply love the song:

I too fell in love with Darmiyaan when they picturised it on Amita. Esp the night when Amit had toothache and she sat up holding him all night...aww
I liked iss deewane ladke ko in lonavla. Totally appropriate for Khadoos Amit;)

wonderful post gayatri...bhai mera toh all time favourite... Mera pehla pehla pyar hai ye.. waaooo... that song looked like was made for amit... totally apt... beautifully picturised.. superb direction... it was of movie-quality level.. is song se muje amit ki vajeh se pyar ho gaya... i listen this song often and amit comes before my eyes.. i feel like i m myself in love... get lost in it...
