I fail to understand

I do not understand why the in-laws are taking such a round-about route regarding the complications in Amita's pregnancy. In my opinion, Amit, and now his entire family is infantalizing Amita. Their thinking that she will not listen to the real reason why they want her to get an abortion is, at best, rather lame. Even if that were the case, putting her through so much stress that she feels alienated and vulnerable and chooses to leave the house as a result is hardly the ideal solution. I think this is much worse that Amita feels friendless right now and thinks that all her inlaws and her husband are ganging up on her, rather than tell her what is happening, and deal with the complications as a family in a mature fashion. I feel that the CVS are creating needles misunderstandings. Besides, how come no one has thought of seeking a second opinion? I hope that they do so very soon.

This is a nice show and I am sorry if I am offending anyone by this post. It is just that I do not find this track very convincing, and as a result, it is a bit dragging for me.

well i tbink it was a hit n trial method adopted by amit.. he ws sure that amita might choose him over the baby and thus will agree for abortion.. amit knows she is very stubborn n may risk her life for baby so thought of this plan... ab jab ye plan kaam nahi kiya toh they l have to tell her the truth...

Hey nice post dear!! I quite agree with you that the Shah family & Amit should have gone for a second opinion! Actually since time is short so in a haste Amit decided to ask for the abortion as other wise Amita, the kind of ideal bahu she is will never agree to go for it & at the end will risk her life & that;s what Amit can't afford to do.

Haan second opinion ki baat ab tak kaise nahi aayi kisi ke dimmag mein...shayad is news ke shock me hai sab...

haan yaar lily.. news jitni jyada buri ho, utna jaldi deemag me aata hai ke second opinion liya jaaye..coz nobody wants to believe the bad news..

I do agree with this post but the Shah family is doing this because Amot wants to handle the situation in his way and they trust him. How come they aren't taking a second opinion? Check with another doc before making a decision. Secondly, Amita definitely deserves to know she is carrying the baby and the cvs should be very clear about the complication. They cannot mislead the viewers. Again love this show like crazy but this track is just not convincing. Cvs I hope you are reading this and making the necessary changes.
