Awesome topic Aman dear!! Kudos!!👏 Hats off to Aanaya who's the main brain behind this topic!!👏 College life...well it was a mixed bag of various experiences!! It helped me to grow mentally, be matured & understand certain realities of life both harsh & sweet. I am one of the most lucky person who escaped ragging!!😉 At first i was admitted to Rani Birla College, here in Kolkata with English Honors but soon realiszed I'm not liking the subject & got admitted to Loreto College with History Honors. By the time I left Rani Birla the ragging did not take place & by the time I came in Loreto, the ragging was done with. My first class was quite nice..ours is a strict girls convent college but with loads of disciplines to follow as we had to produce an absent letter if we bunked a particular class ...Class bunking was not a gr8 idea as I loved to attend the classes that were so nicely conducted. We had to do presentations regarding a topic which was attended buy Sister Tina ( our principal...a very strict lady ) & the other deppts. I have a very fond memory of our History Dept arranging a grand seminar commemorating the 100 years of The Parition Of Bengal which held in Victoria Memorial. I got the opportunity to sing in the program& felicitate our honorable education minister of West Bengal who was the chief guest. I participated in various occasions...whether it was a slum survey, attending Old age home, blood donation camps...& also participated in a drama of Aristophanes's " Birds". We shared wonderful bond with our professors who were so helpful. I remember at the end of our Part 2 exam our head of the department Mrs Roy had organised a department party at her residence where all the other professor of our dept had cooked evening snack & dinner for us..we had a blast!! How can I forget the day of our fare well when I wore a silk saree & got great compliment from all. I got one of my best friends..Madhurima from college..& I being a complete chatter box & singer...got the title of Radio Mirchi Live😆😆😆..Now that I'm out of college life I understand the teachings sister Tina gave us " to juggle all your commitments"...which if some one follows becomes the winner. I owe a lot to my college!!😊

Well I have done MSCIT from South Gujarat University which is located at Surat. This course was 5 years integrated course after 12th and ours was first batch. So there was no chance of ragging.. University mein hamare college ke liye separate building bhi nahi tha starting mein... University owed MBA department to us for morning theory session and MCA department for practical session..

I remember the first day we all sitting in class and waiting for lecturer and then a boy came(Who looked like Amit Shah- very fair and tall) and stand near board. The class was busy with chatting and making new friends and didn't even bothered to look at him. Than he took the duster and hit 2-3 times on table that time everybody realize that he is the lecturer... He was just MCA pass out student, and it was his first class as well.. later on most of the girls got crush on him and guys got jeoulas... First day went on well...

My town is 40 minutes train journey from surat so first 2 years of my college i stayed in university hostel. But I didn't like there because our lectures used to finish by 12 to 1 and practicals we could do from home also. So after 12 till night there is nothing to do in hostel, also university was little far from city. In those 2 years half of the time I went back home and did up down. After that I left hostel and was doing up-down in train to surat and from surat station to university in bus or auto.. We had a group of girls so it was fun. Also in train we had big group of girls studying other courses and working ladies.

I was also very shy in my school time but college opened up my courage and I became bubbly girl. I was tom boy and everybody knew me by "Panki" only.College was co-ed but most of the girls were not mingling much with boys. I have taken part in 2-3 annual dance programs and because of my boy cut hair style I have always became boy for the dance. I remember in one such show first there was girls entry and after we (who were acting as boy) came on dancing on "Koi kahe.. kehta rahe, kitna bhi humko diwana" . In starting of this song we had little stunts.. Now the stage was little slippery and I was in full josh... When I came and started my leg got slipped... People thought I am doing some stunt... But than I got up and dance as if nothing has happen.. It was such a fun.. After that for 1-2 weeks everybody used to come and ask me that was a stunt or u really fall down!!! LOL!

I have got many best friends from college. I became mature, independent & confident. I really miss my college. College days were just wonderful and that time was one of the best time of my life. 😊

yaar meri to college life se bahot see bate judi hai...meri 11,12 Nagpur city se hui hai...it was a ladies college...to no doubt bahar dher sare ladke to hone hee hai😉...it was top most college of Nagpur L.A.D...We had gala time over there...studies ke saath masti bhee...😃

...then Graduation ke liye PUNA..."Padhai ke devta city"...Dad kee transfer bhee yahee ho gayee ...yaha kee to much puch...puna's croud ke to kya kahne...world famous...😃

i have done my B.TECH from puna...muze yaad hai...first day,mai bahot dari thee...but no ragging...after 4/5 days ragging ho gayee...fir dheere dheere daar nikal gaya...wo kahte hai na "Daar ke aage jeet hai"...fir yaha jo maine friends banaye...i think ye lifetime ke liye rahenge...in me se 2 mere CRUSH rah chuke hai...but now r only friends...😉😃..

abhee mai mere post graduation ke first year me hu...aur fun,masti,maza,canteen,...dance reahrsals...contests..ke saath saath padhai bhee jor se chalu hai...😆😆

I did my college in patiala itself from Modi college, one of the colleges here.

i consider My college life as the best phase of my life. Coz earlier to it i used to b very shy n reserved and kind of third degree bookworm. i remainded almost same in the first year of graduation.. But next 2 years' college life realy opened me up. My confidense got a boost when professors praised me in the class. My communication skills were improving on an increasing rate. my second n last year ws rockinng.

i got my two present best frnds from college. i became more practical and alert to the outside world. Felt so free and independent there.

Special memory is the last days of college.. College ws not giving us a farewell so our professors who loved us arranged a party in their room for only 5 of us ( the sincere ones) we enjoyed so much there, playing games, sang songs and gossiping. they got very pleased with my mimickry of them.

thn there was a private farewell party arranged by some boys of our class in a club. Oh that was such a nice evening. we danced for almost 4-5 hours. i remember a wore a bottle green anarkali suit for which i got many compliments, oh i loved this thing.. 😃😃

i miss my college life a lot... nostalgia.. :-((
