Vinod Singh, who played the 17-year-old teenage doctor-prodigy in Aayushman on Sony, is back after a long hiatus. Singh will play a hitman in Sony TV's Amber Dhara, produced by Swastik Productions.

Singh, who makes an entry into the show today, had a rough passage in Aayushman. He was shown the door and replaced by Sudeep Sahir.

Production house Cinevistaas is reported to have taken the tough decision after Singh's alleged spat with a crewmember and his intemperate behaviour getting on everyone's nerves. We hope, he has a smooth sailing in Amber Dhara.

When contacted, the moody Singh said that he was busy with a shot and could not talk. However, Siddharth Tiwari - creative director of Amber Dhara - confirmed Singh's inclusion in the show.

Tiwari said, "Singh will have a full tattooed arm. He plays a hit man. He did not agree to do the role immediately but when he heard that he would play a hitman, but he came around. It's great to have him on board."

But it seems like the hitman only has a small roll? And they havent even shown him yet. It seems unlikely that he'll have a bigger role...but then again...if there's an article on this...perhaps?
