Hi guys I know many of us are frustrated and I am amongst them.
I just can't seem to relate to Shoba's character. If a woman discovers that her husband cheated on her multiple times, told her he never loved her, forced her to sign a divorce, cheated the nation, pretty much belittled her in opportunity and, forced his sister into marrying a man despite knowing about his cunning nature...how can you consider this man to be a changed man just like that. I understand that she may believe him, but any sane person would have that doubt in the back of their head that all of this may be a show or temporary. She keeps ranting about how its about her kids and all, but how can this man be a good influence to her children. I understand the children are young and they want their father, but she is mature she should understand that you need to think for the long term not just for the present.
Plus, I feel that after all he's put her through she has the upper hand in this situation with Smarth. She does not need to act like his pet. In fact she should be firm with him and claim her right to do what she wants regardless of his opinions.
It saddens me that I no longer feel connected to this show. I loved this show with so much passion because I felt it was classy and romantic, but now I can't bear to see all the negativity/toxicity/stupidity in the past few episodes.
I know in the end it will be Vikram and Shoba reunion, but that will only happen when Shoba hits rock bottom and she realizes that Smarth is no longer an option. So who does that leave, Vikram that man who she unconsciously takes advantage of.
Sorry for the rant and I may not even make sense, but I'm just so upset at this portrayal of shoba's character.
