For some reason I could not watch this episode and the one before this when it actually aired. I know something painful yet magical was about to unfold but I couldn't watch it then...I watched this recently only and trust me when I say this, that the scene got to me.

I can understand seeing your madness in FB itself 😆😳

You know right Jyo, it's very very hard for something to impress us 😉 We do gush over scenes non-stop but something of this stature is what we always wait for and when I saw this episode...thodi der ke liye I was just NUMB.

So true .. we hv done PH.D now in understanding different types of hugs 😆😉 and this one stands out because of the emotions involved 😳

Ekta and her team or rather Ekta' Creative Team are an ace when it comes to such emotional scene. They literally rock the screens and knock you off and this one just took the whole Parting Ways to a different level 👏 👏 👏

So true .. Ekta and team hv done this repeatedly now with all their shows 👏👏

The Back Hug : NEVER EXPECTED...Came completely out of the blue and probably that is why it looked and felt so bloody beautiful ❤️ Sonali and Apurva were just unbelievable especially Apurva who hogs the limelight completely. I believe if an actor can emote through his eyes, especially PAIN it gets to you in a way the dialogues and actions don't. Vikram's pain like somebody had ripped off his heart, shredded into pieces and put it back was all there in his eyes and I don't think he felt pain with this intensity when Madhura left him. I can go on and on about it but still it wouldn't exactly explain the myriad of emotions you feel.

Apurva always excels when it comes to emoting with his eyes .. his eyes always speaks volumes in such moments .. u should chk out his romantic or passionate moments in jassi jaisi koi nahin or kaajal ,.. he just rocked it there ... so I m not surprised the way he emoted this scene .. like u said , he simply nailed it 👏👏 .. and yeah the pain that he might hv felt for Madhura might b more of a looser kind of feeling that he could not win his ladylove but the pain he felt here was that of a man who is letting his ladylove go for her happiness ...

Symbolism : Shobha was the one who took the initiative here to hug Vikram which obviously makes you believe that when she realizes that Samarth can never give her a life, can never be the partner that she deserves (And she knows she deserves better) she herself will ask him to leave. Abhi bhi she has just allowed him back into their home as the father of her children the love and most importantly the NEED is gone. There is also a moment when she hugs him so tightly like her life depended on it...again symbolism she is not depended on Vikram because he helped her to be independent in life but his love is something she has started to depend upon without kwowing that it was LOVE so when reality strikes...Uh Uh...There is no letting go of this Life Jacket😉

I love this symbolism 😳 and yes the fact that she initiated this hug says a lot .. she feels that comfort level with him now which she no more feels with Samarth and so keeps him at a distance but thats not the case with Vikram anymore 😉 .. Even in all the episodes this week , we can see how she is comfortable in Vikram's company but feels uneasy with Samarth .,.. in her subconscious mind , she might b already seeing Vikram as her lifepartner and not Samarth but her conscious mind is still in denial .. so yeah the day she realises this , she on her own will leave Samarth and return back to Vikram

She has lived her life for the past 6+ months without him. And even if she was independent there was a constant factor in her life, who supported her for what she is and never let her falter and that void she will start to feel now. 😳

And thats Vikram 😳

Samarth was there in her life for 9 long years and Vikram some 6+ months right? However Samrath betrayed Shobha and pushed her out of his life like she was some garbage (When he was the garbage) which makes it impossible to ever feel anything for such a man when compared to Vikram who according to her was just her best friend, her wish wisher, a guiding light in her life who lets her go so that she wouldn't be caught in two worlds.

Also those 9 yrs were more of one sided relationship where as a man he was running the house and Shobha was reduced to being a arm candy in her husband's parties .. thats it .. but in these 6 months she actually found her own identity and realise that she is just not a doormat or an arm candy but much more than that and we know Vikram is responsible for this pleasant change in Shobha 😳

The Front Hug : Again Unexpected !!! I never though Vikram would ask for a Hug. (Last Hug for him and the second of many more to come 😉) From dreaming/hoping of hugging the woman he loves probably after he proposed to actually hugging her to let her go. ..WOW. There was this shot where he looks upwards when hugging it's there in the collage...It actually gives you that feel where you ask God...WHY? 😭

Yeah he was looking up mayb asking God why always me 😭😭 .. I loved how he asked for that hug and Shobha too agreed for the hug without hving a second thought 😲😳 , this again proves how their comfort level too has come a long way now .. she indeed felt so secure and protected in his arms 😳

Symbolism : After realizing that Samarth is not the man for he, was never the man for her when Vikram accepts her, brings her into his life she will never hesitate. No factor can pull her back then, not even the kids.

Vikram and Shobha have come to a point in their life where they know what the other means. Vikram has understood and accepted it all like whereas Shobha has to yet understand the LOVE part of it. Plus 'Distance makes the heart grow fonder' so with Shobha's friends words circulating in her system , Vikram's actions and his absence she will realize it was LOVE after all.

True .. she is yet to realise what true love is .. she is just seeing from a family POV but she is failing to understand that no family can b together unless there is love .. and that love exists between ViBha and kids and not now Samarth-Shobha and kids ..

Aahh another beautiful and heartbeaking collage 😭 .. the way she wipes off her tears , it was so touching .. I doubt if Samarth even did that , I mean wiping off his wife's tears so lovingly .. its these small moments which makes one realise how much the guy loves me .. hope Shobha too realises this soon 😭😭

Being the type of person Shobha is, even if she falls for Vikram she will not walk out of the marriage with Samarth for the sake of the kids. So something big has to happen to paint Samarth a villain so that Shobha gets her emotional freedom. Wonder what that twist will be!

A very beautiful post and title for one of the most heartwrenching hugs on TV.

That hug by Shobha for Vikram held gratitude, appreciation, immense love and thankfulness for the sacrifice that VIkram did by not voicing his love for her.

True ... it was a pure hug showing him all the respect and gratitude that she always felt for him 😳

She knows he did her a big favour by not speaking about his feelings for her, because then there would be no holding back. She could not reject his feelings and lvoe for her. Hence she kept nodding in the negative everytime he spoke.

exactly .. she knew it will make things difficult for her since she wont b able to say no and at the same time she will always feel the fear of disappointing her kids .. so yes she did feel as if Vikram did a big favour on her with his decision ..

Why run away from your new found identity in the name of family .. was unexpected from her .. but again the way she is and the way she always thinks for others , it was obvious she will take this route plus I think Sarika's words were more responsible why she wanted to quit .. she does not want Vikram's name to come in this political mess after she found out how people r gossiping about them

But after reading your post and Mansi's take I did realize that Shobha has succumbed/resigned to her situation of being a good Mother and a wife to the Sachdevs. She has given up a major part of her ownself. Her slumped shoulders, her body language, her tone says it all...

Another reason is like I said , she dont want Vikram getting a bad name because of her .. remember her self talk about how she wont tolerate if Vikram's name is ever dragged in the political mess ..

And she has to see the real villancy of Samarth to completely reject him. What she sees now a changed Father of her kids. And yesterday a changed man too. She is wary of him but not running away from it. She did not smile when he said she can keep her job. She was taken aback and surprised.

yes she is still hodling herself back .. she can see that he is changing but not able to trust him anymore and also not able to feel for him like before ..

Also Vikram has not confessed his feelings for her. The words remain unspoken. Though she is now aware from others what he feels for her. Her own feelings are yet to surface completely and then she will take the bold step of walking away from Samarth for good.

true .. she needs to realise few things on her own too about Vikram and the day she does that , we might finally see the bold Shobha we want to ..
