Thanks Jyothi for your detailed analysis of the episode. Sorry I may not be able to write more today and for few more days as one of my colleague has quit the job and I am double taxed (have to bear her work load as well). So I will make only few points here.
1. Vikram becoming workaholic is good for both him and Shobha. Otherwise he will be his cranky way and will end up eating everyone's head. Sorry, as the say goes, an idle mind is devils workshop, neither Shobha nor Vikram can afford to stay empty handed and think of their past and cry over that. To over come the same, they have to keep themselves busy and what is more meaningful than work at office?
2. Vikram was his normal self that concerned adult for the kids when he arrived and would have been the same had he not spotted Jiyu with his diary. moral of the story "never keep the debris of your past, which may scratch you later unexpectedly and may create scars which will be visible to all and sundry. So if you try to forget something, then discord all the things which reminds you of that person or thing later when you think you have overcome that pain. And this cream on the kids is good as he will get closer to them one he realize that he was unjustified in shouting at them for none of their fault. However even the kids learnt a lesson that never spy on someone's personal belongings even if you stumble upon them.
3. I think Nani knows about his love life and that is the reason why she keeps telling him to come out of his past. his past also looks like a mystery just like his coffee. he has a past of an abused child and has a past of a lover boy. I just hope that his love life is not entangled with his mother and he lost his mother due to his love (negligence) as he said had he reached 10 minutes early, he would have changed the fate. Was he too preoccupied with his love that he could not attend his mother on time and she succumb to death? Since his advocate friend is aware of his love life, (he teased him by saying who says one should not love again?) I think even Naani knows it and so are his other friends. But how come Vikram was not aware of the sir name of his lover Sarika? Or did he knew about it and that is why he chides about Sachdev's? and so is naani?
And about Sarika acting Abused woman may be for the simple reason she had refused to take care of the kids during Shobha's jail days when Garima requested her and may be she didn't want to be in the bad books of Shobha as she still expects some favours from her for future.
