I think we r jumping to conclusion a bit too soon here 😳 .. whether its ekta or any other producer , fact is once a show's story comes to an end , then the show automatically gets ruined if still dragged further with nonsense tracks ...

If Ekta has planned a limited episode show here as mentioned in press conference , they the relation between both ladies might remain intact till the very end .. 😃

He knows her being a fighter but the situation here at Sandeeps house was indeed not a place to pull Sandeep down ans prove Shobha innocent as all the pointers were against her over the way he saw/heard things still that behind closed doors how can someone know what is happening unless the way her plan backfired was the more importance to beleieve Sandeep is saying wjat he is saying with Meetubadding fuel to the fire! This will sound more logical to the whole witness .

Today will be more clearer of the whole plan & execution & the guilty!

Yeah I too feel Nani will tell Vikram about Shobha's outburst in rain and how she cannot do all this ... So Vikram might hv second thoughts here because as it is he dint look fully convinced even at Sandeep's house but reacted according to facts .. So he might go to office and chk out CCTV footages to see if anything happened between Sandeep and Shobha at office and thats when he might end up seeing this footage of Nitu-Sandeep planning all this against Shobha ...

Shobha 's pain was poignantly done ..n Garu was a broken doll ..felt so bad for them both

But u Know what they say "it's darkest before the dawn " ...n here the dawn is waiting for the right horizon ..

I m sure like what nani said .vik is not a fool..he has had the right upbringing n he will pull out the culprit ..he Just ddint do anything yet

N I feel tarun n sandy will unite ...

Tarun-Sandeep collaboration is very much possible ... Sandeep might do everything possible now to ruin both Vikram and Shobha's image in front of society even if it means accusing them of hving secret affair which is for sure a future possibility 🤔

But I feel Vikram will b the real maseeha for both Shobha and Garima here ... he was the one whole broke Garima's engagement , so he might b the one to convince Sanjay and his family for it in future ... lets see how it goes ...

True Mansi .. its human nature to advice or preach others but we often dont follow our own preachings when it comes to our own selves .. how realistically it was shown via Garima here 👍🏼

Jyoti, here I am also reminded of one more comparison - of Shobha's mother and Garima's mother.
Shobha's mother once advised her to just act as if nothing had happened and to get on with life even though Samarth had cheated on her so badly. And here we have Garima's mother also acting as if nothing has happened in the family, her son has done nothing great or earth-shattering, and Shobha should take it all in her stride and take help from the weasly lawyer of Samarth who abetted his womanising!
At first it looks like Shobha's mother is less scheming than Garima's mother. Garima's mother is so scheming in fact that she wants to actively prevent Shobha from working so that Shobha does not get the upper hand in the family from financial powerfulness. She wants the family to be dependent on the lawyer (however suspect his own motives may be), so much so that she was willing to go and live in his house for free and is willing to take money from him for monthly expenses. I was initially thinking "Why is this MIL so ready to sponge on that weasly lawyer and is he by any chance blackmailing the MIL?" But then I realised that Garima's mother is behaving like a typical jealous female who cannot let another woman have the upper hand in the home. Shobha's financial independence and her own dependence on Shobha so irritates the MIL that she is willing to take money from an outsider rather than from Shobha's income! This hatred to give Shobha the upper hand is also behind her forcing Garima to marry the lawyer's brother to curry favour with the lawyer!

Mansi yeah its a typical MIL mentality .. she wants to hv her own upper hand in the house and not let Shobha dictate her terms .. so thats main reason why she wants to stop her from working .. Plus that Tarun guy also happens to b Shobha's brother-in-law , so the MIL got that excuse too that why Shobha cant listen to him when he is related to her family only ... but its such an irony na .. she has problems with Shobha working but she has no problems to depend on Tarun who happens to b Shobha's side relative only .. this actually highlights MIL's double standards too in a way
Now look again at Shobha's mother. Why did she say that Shobha should take life as it comes and not make much of Samarth's womanising. Somewhere in our society the mothers of daughters feel it will become a financial and societal burden on them if their daughters come back after failed marriages. When they give kanyadhan of daughters they want to wash their hands off and send off the daughters for good. It is considered a blot on them if the daughter returns home in shattered state. Underneath it all is again a "financial issue" because a daughter is married off at great cost and the mothers don't want to have to spend even more now on the returned daughter and her children! We may say that no mother counts the cost of her own daughter's return in financial terms and its all societal, but finances are at the bottom of every societal argument if you track society closely.

I agree Mansi .,., I think thats the main problem .. the fear of feeding a married daughter back home is always at the back of their mind if they return back to their maayka .. Shobha's mother is no different here ... plus the society taunts r always there ...

So it is very interesting for me that one mother (Shobha's mother) is advising her daughter to stay on quietly in her sasuraal as if nothing happened, based on the costs of her return to her mother's house on her mother ... and on the other hand the mother of Garima is calculating the costs of giving Shobha the financial upper hand in the household and is even prepared to take money from an outsider than to depend on Shobha.

Yup and notice in both cases both mothers r willing to sacrifice their daughter's life despite knowing that the guy is not a worthy one for their daughter .. I mean Garima's mother knows well that Ajay dude is not a nice guy , yet she wants to marry her off to this guy and there Shobha's mother told her to stay with Samarth only and ignore his past mistakes

I recently read a book on women and their financial motivations and was surprised to find so many hundreds of ways in which women "calculate the financial costs" behind their behaviours and the author says its a myth than only men are money-conscious in their dealings and are open about money being their motivating factor.

hmm thats quite an interesting myth and true as welll ... well it wont b wrong to say that a woman only is another woman's worst enemy even if its a mother

In fact women are even more money-conscious but they pass off their money-vulnerabilities in "emotional language".

yess emotions is their biggest weapon 😆

Neither Shobha nor Garima were exposed to the wicked world till a week back when the head of the family or back bone of that family or say the pillar of that family was with them to shoulder all the burden be it financial or emotional. They have not even gone out alone even to buy grocery and to those people if there supporting pillar was pulled out all of a sudden, it is like hanging from the threshold only held by a thin thread. They had not faced any harshness of the society as Samarth as a husband and a brother had protected them as a shield. No one could even bad eye them beyond that shield. Even the alliance for Garima was accepted eagerly by Abhay's family because her brother was a eminent politician and with loads of money to spend on his sister. The moment he was caught and his property was seized, they found no attraction in Garima and tried to look for reason's to break the bond and to certain level they were even succeeded. That was a big blow to Garima as a girl when she realized her fianc was not loved her enough to stand for her despite her brother's current condition.

Thats so true .. its like suddenly in a week time their world hv gone upside down and they r left with no support system altogether ... they r nnow exposed to a society filled with wolves in sheep's disguise and they hv no idea whom to trust and whom not to trust ... the sudden bursting of bubble and exposure of reality has hit them real hard .. On top of that the seniormost person in the family , that is Garima's mother is not at all supportive of their actions but instead wants to depend on an outsider which is making matters even more worst for both
For Shobha who had thought her life revolves around her family (loving husband, caring SIS, dotting MIL & bunch of happiness in her kids) was thrown out to the reality when her husband was caught and she realized he was not she thought him as. he was not the Ram she had loved & worshipped but the Ravan behind the mask of Ram, he was not the humble husand but a imposter who ran behind any available veil to show his supremacy as minister. So the moment she realized he never loved her alone, she was heart broken and jumped out of the well (a small fish she is) and fell into the sea not realizing that she will have to encounter with sharks & whales. The moment she realized she was looked as a prey by her own colleague who showed himself as friend, she was stressed and felt like a fish out of water and in that one moment she felt, the big fish in the pond was better than the ugly sharks, atleast it did gave her support and security. That was the reason she felt that her husband to be released fast so that she can get back to her warm cocoon. But she now has realized that neither the big fish nor the shark and whales will let her live on her own. They always look to reduce her to a doormat and prefer to boss over her and they always tries to show they are the supreme and a lady can never be alone & safe.

thats a perfect example 👏 .. yess that makes perfect sense why she wanted her husband out that moment for her life's security .. she reached to a point where she was left all alone in between the sharks like u said and the only way out was calling for someone whom she knows can give security .. no wonder she wanted Samarth that time even if it means compromising on other things ... this was such a helpless situation for her but again very realistic too ..

From here lets see how she rises up

And as for as Shobha's mother or mother in law are concerned, they have seen the world more than Shobha and Garima. They knows the reality of this world where only money matters and nothing else. Shobha's mother will not take the risk of taking her daughter home as it will not only tax her financially but also socially. The society will talk illogical and she has to spend on Shobha and her kids every expenditure which will not be of any minor value. She might have also thought that an influential person like Samarth will not stay behind the bars for long and when he was out, if he finds that his wife and kids have moved on to his MIL then with anger he may disown them and they will be a permanent liability on her and he may get some one else and his life will be moved on while her daughter will have to stay alone and will have to struggle for existence. So her logic is that what if Samarth spent some time with some other lady, that has not redi=uced any comforts given to Shobha. Shobha is still his wife and he has provided her with every possible thing in the world (worldly pleasure) and he has not over looked Shobha. So why it should bother Shobha, if he spend some few hours of his life with someone else without any ties?

yes both mothers hv seen the harsh realities of life and so dont want to risk it further by doing something heroic .. they want to play it safe and just compromise with the reality .. Shobha and Garima r young , different and today's woman .. they dont want to compromise on their dignity and this is where we see the clash between both generations too ..
Her mother in law who has been enjoying the life of a rich, feels bad to accept any lesser level of comforts. So as far as she is concerned, her son has not done any crime, every one in this world is corrupt and it is not just her son alone. And if Shobha's BIL has been benefitted earlier from Samarth, she feels he should repay it by spending on them. She doesn't feel dejected but feels that it is her right to take his assistance and to retain that richness, she is even ready to get her daughter married to his brother (a creep). As far as she is concerned, only money matters and she is not ready to lead a poor or comparatively middle class life with Shobha earnings. She is not ready to climb down the ladder of richness. She knows that in practical life, people who have money will be looked upon and not those with virtue.

yeah she feels she has the right to b dependent on Tarun right now who was once dependent on her son .. so its payback time and so there is nothing wrong in it ... plus she is not even taking the whole matter of Samarth cheating on his wife too seriously .. she expects Shobha to compromise with it and just move on as no man is loyal in today's times ... Its a typical mentality but like u said she wants to b practical here and feels instead of compromising on our lifestyle , its better to compromise on the truth ..

I m sure he will .. Vikram is not someone who enjoys being a saviour to a woman 😆 .. he will definitely make her realise that though Sandeep was the culprit here but she was wrong too in trying to b the superwoman and going for a sting operation instead of coming to her boss ...

What a fantastic take⭐️⭐️. I never really thought of it that way until I read your post. Brilliant and well thought out.👏👏 Garima and Shobha are absolutely two sides of the same coin. Two different generation of women, yet facing the same dilemma. Both have led very sheltered lives, dependent on the men in their lives. One her brother and Shobha her husband. With Samarth behind bars Garima turns to the next male in her life and that is Sanjay the guy she loves hoping for his support. Shobha wants her husband back for protection.

I was actually thinking why CVs r showing both tracks parallelally and thats when it crossed my mind that both women r more or less facing similar crisis in their life .. both r in desperate need of that one support system or guiding force in their life who can guide them to the right path ..

I love that this show has made its characters very vulnerable to their situations. Garima rushing to Sanjay and begging for protection, Shobha taking matters in her own hands and trying to solve a grave situation of sexual harassment. It's what anyone would do in their places. A quick fix solution which they find at hand. They (Sanjay & Samarth) both are around. That is why Garu & Shobha turned to them. But in life there is no quick-fix solution to anything. And every experience in life teaches you a lesson and makes one wiser. Like you say easier said than done. And that is exactly what was the outcome of the situations in both cases. Sanjay does not YET have the guts to stand up for Garima. And Sandeep turned the tables on Shobha exposing her to a more vicious circle of lies and life.

yup such situations can only teach u to b moree independent and strong .. I will love to see Garima taking up a job as well and becoming financially independent .. it might give her more confidence to make her own life decisions and just not give in to her mother's demands ... Just how Shobha is slowly learning to b independent , time for Garima to follow the same footsteps too

I only did not like that Vikram was there too with his staff present hiding behind doors. That was a bit hard to digest for me. CVs did not have to do that to Viks character. Though I loved the scene when he tells her she is fired. There was guilt in his eyes...which kind of said I am forced to do this. Here everything is against you in black and white and I have no choice.

hmm yeah Vikram present there was a bit weird too because his character is not someone to hide behind doors waiting for some exposure .. he is the boss after all .. his actions later made sense as proofs were against Shobha but his presense there was a bit put off for sure .. mayb the only justification here is Vikram is also Sandeep's friend and in the past Vikram did commit few mistakes behind closed doors too .. remember his brainwashing act to Sanjay during Garima's engagement .. so he sort of bends his rules for his friends I guess as he assumes his friends r perfect like him .. of course his assumption will come wrong now and it could b a lesson for Vikram too 😃

But what is a soap without being slippery and forming maximum suds out of it? That's drama in other words. So accepted. 😃

Loved Naani for what she is. First and foremost a woman. Who noticed her grief stricken neighbour and decided to lend some comfort if nothing more. I think Naani has gone through quite a few struggles in life and has singlehandedly brought up Vikram. So could relate to Shobha's moment of despair. She became her living angel at that point.

yeah Nani looks bindaas and strong but I bet she has gone through her series of hurdles too and has seen the real world .. so she understands another woman's pain and tries to motivate her

We know Vikram is eventually going to fire Sandeep but I hope he fires Mittu too. The girl plays dirty and needs to know right from wrong. Now will this lead to Shobha becoming Head of Marketing? Hmmm! dekhte hai!

We dunno yet why Mittu did this .. yesterday she could not see eye to eye with Shobha .. she did look a bit guilty .. so was she like majboor here to do all this .. mayb Sandeep threatened her 😕 .. If she did this with her own wish by planning with Sandeep , then yup she need to b fired too 😡

What a fantastic capture of Shobha when distressed! Awesome Shwets and the rest of the collages too.

yup thats a fab collage na .. perfect emotion 👏👏

hugs

exactly .. its all about trying than accepting defeat and thats where both ladies excel 👍🏼

In this ep, Shobha's despair can be understood. She has gone through so much pain and betrayal. After the incident at Sandeep's house, she shattered completely. She couldn't comprehend the reason she was subjected to such difficulties. Giving up was all she could think.

yup she was more angry on her own self for always commiting the same blunder of trusting wrong set of people and not learning from her past mistakes .. she was cursing her own self for this ..

At such a time, Naani's words worked like magic. She came like an angel. Love you Naani! 😳

yup Nani was a sweetheart here 😳

Another thing I noticed was Vikram. He was way TOO serious. During the scene when Shobha was blocking his way, it looked like he was worried or confused (this might be because Sandeep must have told him about Shobha's advances on him) This thing looked to have affected him very much.

Even at that Creep's house, while firing shobha, he was dead serious and his face void of any expression. His eyes were full of doubts. He was, probably, still digesting the fact that Shobha could do something like this. Apurva is giving full justice to his character, Vikram. 👏

yup he was not his usual wacko self today na .. something was bothering him for sure .. he looked affected on both occasions 😉😳 ... he looked disappointed in Shobha , mayb wondering how can she do this .. he dint even taunt her like he usually does .. it proved that he does hv expectations from her and for once he wanted her to prove him wrong , so he even waited for her justifications ..
