I think prem have over heard the conversation ,but still he loves him ...And he will do drama with teja as if he doesn't knows anything so that he can keep an eye on teja everytime to save his father and family and in the mean time teja may fall for prem...And prem will then open up the truth.

Also there is an SBS segment is youtube where prem is crying the song playing in background acha chal ta hu dua o mein yaad rakhana and he is wearing kind of shadi costume,so may be teja will leave the shadi mandap

When Teja was talking to her mom, they were showing shots of Prem's family at the mandir in between, and they also showed one shot of Prem in the street searching for something (Teja I think). But higher possibility is that Prem has heard. He is in the habit of eavesdropping on her conversations with friends.

And the first thing he did after he saw her at college was manhandle her and ask her what game she was playing with him. He was seething at first and rest of his behavior later of being totally latto in love with her might be an act to protect his family.

CVs may throw that in as a big surprise, just as they did with Teja and her getting to know of how her dad died.

It could end up as cat and mouse game in the end.

That's actually a good possibility. He was working hard to slow down his breathing and calm his temper which would have been his reaction if he actually overheard the conversation.
