I know right! It would've even made sense if Teja picked up her own clothes. But no, Prem, who wants her dead anyways, picked up her clothes and was running for his life while clutching her clothes. And yeah, when she went to change, I was like, "shouldn't you guys be running away from the tribals?" Just the fact that they could conveniently stop like that seemed so odd.

You're going to hate me but I didn't mind the episode at all.

Granted that one probably doesn't get kidnapped from tribal people on a regular basis, but they are in a life or death situation with the tribe and they managed to help each other out. His intention wasn't to let her die but he sure looked hurt when she said that she wasn't going to fall in his trap. He definitely reacts when people don't believe him.

I think it's foreshadowing of what's to come. We know that the fall out will be painful and suffocating when they learn that DSR killed her dad. It will probably feel like they are all in a life or death situation.

It's a dance.

They get in each other's faces with anger, they walk away from each other, he threatens to run her over, they get tied together by the tribals, he's shocked to see her in tribal wear getting ready to be sacrificed, the tribals threaten to kill him, he looks at her the whole time with concern, he causes a disturbance so that they can escape, they run in opposite directions, they bump into each other and roll down a hill locked in each other's arms looking deeply at each other, they run again, she changes her clothes, he looks at her changing, they run, his leg gets stuck, she goes back and helps him...

They're dancing the rumba. Maybe an Indian rumba!

A quote from a movie I liked was: "The rumba is the vertical expression of a horizontal wish. You have to hold her, like the skin on her thigh is your reason for living. Let her go, like your heart's being ripped from your chest. Throw her back, like you're going to have your way with her right here on the dance floor. And then finish, like she's ruined you for life."

Throughout all these episodes you see Prem with his conflicting emotions towards Teja. Way more caring emotions from him than her feelings towards him. He has a hate on for her even though it's caused by his own doing or Arjun's interference but then there's all the caring feelings that wreak havoc with his mental state.

If he hated her as much as he thinks he does, then he wouldn't show all these feelings for her.

He was startled when she cried on the phone with her mom.

He rushed to her side when she sprained her ankle.

He reached out to touch her should but then pulled back.

Sharing jail cells next to each other and he kept looking at her.

The pool scene.

Walking his motorcycle next to her stealing glances.

Saving her at the party, carried her home.

Moving the hair out of her face.

Watched her walk down the staircase and then dancing at the party at DSR's house.

There are so many moments. He doesn't hate her as much as he protests. Believe me.

He will end up falling hard for her first because his feelings are already betraying him.

Bravo to Pranav for expressing Prem's emotions so well.

Haha I don't hate you, it's only human to have opinions. 😉

I agree that they managed to help each other out, but to me it didn't seem like Prem helped her because he wanted to, I think he only did so for himself. When the tribals said they were going to sacrifice her, instead of being concerned for her, he started laughing. And then he told them to go ahead with the sacrifice and let him go. I don't know if he was planning on helping her as well but I really didn't like the way he started laughing over her dying. Then, when the leader said that he would have to kill Teja, and then he'd become a part of their clan, that changed his expressions. That's when he told Teja to play along with him so that they could run away.

And yes, he was annoyed that Teja didn't believe him but it's hard to believe someone who was just trying to run you over with a jeep an hour or so ago.

Also the other thing about the mahaepisode was that there was no progress. Usually mahaepisodes will show something that's climactic so that the track progresses. However, this mahaepisode started and finished at the same point; Prem wanting to kill Teja/saying he'll kill her. And that's why the whole getting kidnapped by the tribals business was also pointless; there was no progress in the story after that whole track. So there really wasn't a point in having the mahaepisode at all; the story didn't progress. I don't know if it will with today's episode but my point is that if there had been no mahaepisode nothing would've changed.

And as far as Prem is concerned, I agree with you that he is attracted to Teja. 100%. And he truly doesn't hate her as much as he thinks he does. But my frustration towards Prem comes from the fact that in his hatred he acts really insensitively towards her. His attraction towards her is fine, but him kidnapping her, framing her of cheating, forging her signatures, etc isn't justified.

Really liked your rumba analogy, it's apt for the situation.

And yes, Pranav is a great actor, I love him as Prem.

IF we had the twitter account of the producer/ director of the show then I would have been sending message via social media asking them questions and telling them feedback that the story needs to progress quicker and its going very slow. I'm yet to see maha episode and Friday one but comments make it clear the story has not progressed. I'm not surprised to hear nothing happened good in maha episode.
