Times of India has it described as: "Television Rating Point (TRP) is a tool provided to judge which programmes are viewed the most. This gives us an index of the choice of the people and also the popularity of a particular channel. For calculation purpose, a device is attached to the TV set in a few thousand viewersa houses for judging purpose"

I guess the homes are chosen at random to avoid biased results

Moksha, thanks for the explanation, dear 😊. But I do know what TRP is.. I better knw it as its part of my job.

My question wa whats the TRP of the show this week. Every thursday it gets released and we do not know for our show.

This week barc has not released the complete trp list. They have given only trp of top 20 shows.
