Ok Zara this are the answers for the second batch of questions 😊 :
1) I think what makes Samay Rusty unique for me is that they are so different from each other. She's the prim and proper, well brought up lady who's not really the passionate kind whereas he's the aggressive, intense loner who's so passionate that he can be very insecure. The reason i like them is that i really like Gaurav. I think who or what you find unique depends on the viewer to a large extent. For example, there are people who think couples in other shows are unique and they find some other heroes hot, which i don't. (will not name name here 😃) So i think its a very subjective choice.
2) three best things that i own: a) my extensive collection of books, music and films.
b) the satisfaction that i've found in my subject and the independent frame of mind that literature has brought into existence within me
c) the respect of my juniors, friends and the students that i teach part time... means the world to me. 😊
3) No, my sunsign is Scorpio and i've never ever heard anything good about Scorpios ever. 😉
4) I'm not too much of a car person (professor ki salary pe maruti 800 hi afford kar loo toh bahut hai 😆 😆). though if money were no consideration, I'd love to own an open jeep, preferably a black one. 😃 Also, i want to check out Reva, the electric car since it is supposed to be really good for the environment. Oh and i hate no car as such, but hate those people who let their windows down and play blaring music in their cars while driving past, just so that you know what a great music system they have. 😡

Well gr_8 mms, here are the answers to your questions:
1) i dress in whatever feels comfortable to me and i wear almost everything i.e. salwar kameez, jeans/trousers and tops, skirts and sarees. I like ethnic clothes, so usually stick to cotton and silk for material and vegetable prints and dyes, bandhnis, sambalpuris etc. My friends say i look best in sarees. I'm very comfortable in a saree, can put it on very quickly and manage it the entire day even without safety pins. I'm very proud of this fact so had to say it 😉 😉 😆 😆
2) Who do i like more from Gaurav and Narayani? hmmmmmm well being a heterosexual woman i definitely like Gaurav more 😆
3) which type of person am i? i don't know. you read my answers and tell me 😊
4) in my previous post, i have talked about Gaurav and Saumya. I like their chemistry as Rusty and Samay, its both sizzling and tender. Whether that will translate into real-life chemistry as well, i don't know. But i do enjoy reading all the posts that talk about this event as certain to happen 😃 For my part, I just want this show to be romantic and not rona dhona, i want it to become very successful so that both of them become well established stars and i want it to go on for some time and not end randomly as previous shows on Sony have done.

Maha I never realised that being Member of the Week would mean answering so many questions...feel extremely surprised that so many people could be so interested in me and my life 😉.
1) What other sections do you like to visit on IF? I usually visit the Nach Baliye 2 section. I also read updates of other shows on tv, from time to time to know whats been happening. (adhm pehle visit karti, toh Gaurav ke baare mein thoda pahle pata chal jaata ❤️ ❤️ sigh aur initial days of their marriage miss nahi hue hote sigh 😉) But i post regularly only on adhm.

2) Where do you see yourself after 10 years? hopefully, still alive 😉. Teaching. Also, might have taken breaks from teaching to learn documentary filmmaking, slasa or just to travel around the world. (Bas, koi yeh sab sponsir kar de 😆 😆)

3) How do you express your feelings when you are happy or sad? I cry very easily on small things and cannot cry in great sorrows. So i might cry while watching afilm/tv but did not cry for days when someone close to me passed away. As far as happiness is concerned, i loooooooove dancing so if possible dance, otherwise smile!!

4)What has been the most embarrasing moment in your life? I'm not the kind of person who gets embarrased easily. I'm very forgetful and clumsy, so over years have become immune to embarrasing moments.

5) Your greatest achievment in life? My idea of achievement is difficult to define. I have a good academic record/extra curricular record but never really thought of them as achievements. I'd say certain moments in life when i've been able to reach out and understand another person... for instance, i once wrote a mail to a friend just becuase i thought she might be depressed about something and she was... and she wrote back saying no one had understood her pain that way, that she felt happy that there was someone on this earth who understood her... everyday in the classroom (i teach part time) if my teaching makes a difference to any one student and i can see that in her/his eye... such moments make up my idea of achievement. Maha this question forced me to examine myself in a way i've never thought about myself before. Thanks for asking it. 😊

6) Do you plan ahead or do you leave things for the last minute? I'm the weirdest person on earth. I plan ahead.... and then never do those things and end up doing all my work at absolutely the very last minute. 😆 😆

7) Who are you the closest to? Why that person? My mom i guess. Because she's all the family i have.

8) Are you are penny pincher or do you spend money freely? I cannot save at all. I'll see a book or a music CD or a film DVD i want... i'll see a new place with interesting food options... and there goes all my money. I'm horrible with money.

9) Do you make decisions/ or think with your mind or your heart? Don't believe in the mind heart difference. I'm impulsive at times, at times think things through. For instance, i'll leave home to get some work done but will end up watching a movie with friends instead - very impulsive decision. But which course to do, which supervisor to work under - I'll agonise, take days, think it over till eveybody around me is sick of the topic and doesn't want to discuss it any more. 😆

10) What ice creme flavor do you like the best? I used to be a 'only chocolate chip' person though of late i've started experimenting with other flavours. Have started liking Litchee icecream.

11) Which one country would you like to visit if you were given a chance? France. I learnt French alongside graduation and think its the most musical langauge. Also, i love the movie Sabrina. It has a dialogue 'I found myself in Paris'. I too wanna say that!!!! 😆
Of course, i also want to go to England once and see Shakespeare's grave and his theatre.

12) What other shows do you watch? I used to be a complete tv person till saas bahu took over. I still remember and love Farmaan, Kashish (complete MB show), Udaan (Kavita Chaudhary as a police inspector), Isi bahane, Yeh jo hai Zindagi, Rajni, Wagle ki Duniya, Gul Gulshan Gulfam, Mujrim Haazir ho, Nukkad, Fauji, Circus. (i saw some of them as re runs!) During college, i used to watch a lot of Star World and Zee Cafe: Friends, The Practice, ER, Picket Fences, Frasier, Becker etc etc etc. Once i left home for post grad, watching tv became infrequent. Used to like Astitva and Dhadkan on Sony. Now the only tv i get to see is what i download from IF and with a download cap, it means only adhm. But i don't mind it because after reading the updates don't feel like watching anything else.

Why do you like IF : Its my only link to tv and its one of the best ones. I've met great people here and made friends who can cheer me up no matter what. And finally becoming member of the week has forced me to look at myself... always a good thing in the journey of life 😊 😊
What is your most precious thing : My eyesight. Wouldn't be able to live if couldn't read.
What according to you is being an ideal MOTW? : Honesty and patience!!!!!
What according to you is a true friend? : Someone who knows when to talk and when to shut up. 😆 😆 😆
What according to you is love? : So many things. Love can be one glance across a crowded hallway, it can be a lifetime spent together. It can be transitory, like dew that never stays or it can be the one thing that makes living in this world possible. I think love is like breathing... we breathe all the time but most often take it for granted or don't even realise we are doing it, but the minute it stops, you are immediately conscious of how important it is... to your very existence. If life is a jigsaw puzzle, then love is not one piece of it but that which causes all the pieces to come together and become meaningful. 😊 I can't express this well at all.
If you had 3 wishes, what would it be? : No more wars in the world 2) a chance to travel and see the world and 3) decrease in consumerism and individual alienation.
Hobbies/Interests : Reading, listening to music, watching films and reading some more. 😉

1.Favourite Actress : Tabu, Smita Patil, Meryl Streep. Like other actresses specifically in specific films. for eg. Renee Zellweger in Chicago but not much else.
2.Favourite Actor : Al Pacino, Naseeruddin Shah, Kay Kay Menon, Rahul Bose, Guru Dutt, Balraaj Sahni, Amitabh in most of his films, not all. Then there are specific films that i love specific people in: for eg. i love Shashi kapoor in Shakespearwallah and The Householder. Oh and right now i have a maaaaaajjjjjooooor crush on Gaurav.(I guess everyone on the forum knows this).
3.Favourite Food : love foooood, of all and every kind.
4.Favourite Song : I'm the kind of person who hums 'Ranjish hi sahi' by Mehendi Hasan, half an hour later will be humming 'We don't need no eduacation' by Pink Floyd and will follow it all up with 'Jalte hai jiske liye'. So can never never pick one.
5.Favourite Movie : Most of Amitabh, Guru Dutt, Balraaj Sahni and Bimal Roy. Mirch Masala. Life is Beautiful. Philadelphia. Children of Heaven. Dead Poets Society. Golmaal. Hazaaron Khawhishen Aisi. Hopelessly addicted to romantic comedies, especially Notting Hill and When Harry Met Sally. Rosencratz and Guilderstern are dead. Any movie of Al Pacino. Love the films of Tarantino (Kill Bill comes immediately to mind) and Martin Scorcese. Like Edward Zwick and Kurosawa. Can go on and on fanatically, so should end with etc etc. etc
6.favourite Book : Lets not even go here... have a list of at least 30, and thats just for starters!! Lit student, remember 😉 if i had to absolutely pick one, would probably pick Beloved by Toni Morrison.

8.Favourite Electronic Gadget : my radio, my comp, my mobile and a tv once i buy one.
9.Favourite Singer : I adore Rafi absolutely. None can compare. Then Hemant Kumar, Kishore, Talat Mehmood, Asha, Suman Kalyanpur, Lata. From today's lot, I'd pick Sonu Nigam, A. R. Rahman, KK and Shaan. Also love Elvis's voice, Sinatra. Jim Morrison's voice is divine... he definitely has me at hello 😆 😆. One of his songs is called "Hello, i love you, won't you tell me your name'. That song can lift my spirits anytime 😊
