Sawmya Tandon has spent eight months in the TV industry. The character of Rusty, that of a firang girl in Aisa Desh Hai Mera has made her popular. But the actor craves to do something different. "Though all TV serials start out a bit differently, at the end of the day they are fitted into the formula that's successful," she says. Speaking about the characters that television has seen in the recent past, Jassi is one character that Sawmya admires. "It was a great character, where the inner beauty of the person out shone good make-up and clothes," she says.
