Hey, again I was thinking aren't Yuvraj's family and Kandy's family belonging to the same pind (village). You can tell this by seeing how Baldev is eager to become the sarpanch by throwing Biji out. Each village in Punjab has its own sarpanch and since they are fighting for the same position they must belong to the same village. Back to my point, I know this by a fact that a male and a female can not get married to each other in punjab if they belong to the same village. A male and a female from different families in the same village are regared as brother and sister as they have the same last name. A male can only marry a female outside his village with a different last name than his and same for a female. Then how can this marriage take place knowing Yuvraj and Kandy belong to the same pind. This is totally against the Sikh Religion as both Yuvraj and Kandy should be regarded as brother and sister if this was a true story happening in Punjab.

Oh really? I didn't know that and probably the makers of the show didn't either!

Thanks for a great fact. If they are regarded as bro-sis, then.... 😳 😕

yea that's true I knew a girl who had a thing for a guy in the same pind and man it was not preety her paremts made sure their daughter realized that people from the same pind can't get married

however I find that silly, and it's not against the sikh religion it doesn't say anywhere in the granth Sahib regarding that as far as I know and your right sandeep Pind's are not small anymore they are preety big, Its just like two people in amritsar getting married it's really no big deal it's just tradition that people follow
