CHAPTER - 5
[ SALUJA AVIATIONS ]
Akash and Rahul were busy with some office files when suddenly an unknown person,opened the door and screamed,"S-u-r-p-r-i-s-e!!"Both Akash and Rahul were hell shocked to such an extent that Rahul screamed out of fear and the file fall from Akash's hand.Both of them looked towards the door with a jerk and found a person was looking at them and smiling.A smile formed at the corner of Akash's lips and he yelled,"Karan!!Dude how are you???"Akash almost jumped over him and hugged him very tightly.Rahul too jumped over him.The man struggled to make himself free from their grips and almost pushed them away to take breath.He took some breath and said,"Abey saalo,itne saalo baad aaya hu aur tum dono mujhe aaj hi jaan se maar daaloge kya?Rehem karo mujhpar."Rahul said,"Arey ha ab hamaara Karan,Karan kaha raha,ye to The Karan Singhaniya ban gaya hai,Singhaniya Empire ka Managing Director."Akash added,"Itne saalo baad aaya hu kehte huye tujhe sharam nehi aati?Last mulaakat kab hui thi hamaari Rahul,5 saal pehle aur uske baad aaj.Ye to bata itne saalo tak kaha mar gaya tha tu?"Karan laughed out loud and said,"Abbey shubh shubh bol,mara nehi tha par ab marne waala hu."Rahul became confused and asked,"Kya matlab?"Karan replied,"Dad ke mutaabik ek mard na do baar marta hai,pehla to vo jab normally marta hai aur dusra jab uski shaadi hoti hai."Akash and Rahul were again shocked and both together yelled,"What???Shaadi???Kisse???"Karan replied,"Dad ke US settled bachpan ke dost hai,unki ek lauti beti se.Uska naam Mahima hai.Mahima Singh.Its an arranged marriage."Akash replied,"Chalo kamsekam khushi mein na sahi,kamsekam apne is khubsurat barbaadi par to hume invite karega na.Kyu Rahul?"Rahul replied,"Ha ha hum tujhe akele barbaad nehi hone denge.Teri barbaadi ke jashn mein hume dance bhi to karna hai."Akash and Rahul had a high five and Karan replied,"Exactly!Tum dono ke bina to main barbaad bhi nehi hone waala.Isiliye main tum dono ko invite karne aaya hu shaadi ke liye.Shaadi ek mahine baad US mein hai aur tum dono ko aana hi aana hai."Al the happiness from Akash's face washed away and he said,"Ek mahine baad???Abhi to office mein bohot kaam hai.Main to nikal hi nehi paaunga."Karan smiled and said,"Ye bolne se to nehi hoga na beta.Tum dono mere saath chal rahe ho varna main shaadi hi nehi karnewaala hu samajhme aayi baat?So do start your packing!Mujhe abhi bohot kaam hai isliye abhi chalta hu.So meet you at the airport 15 days later.Bye!"Karan left from there.Akash looked at Rahul and asked,"Rahul ab kya kare?Karan ne bola hai to jaana to parega hi,par sab kuch hoga kaise?"Rahul replied,"Ho jaayega manage sab kuch!Pehle tu ye soch ke tujhe apne ghar naam ke circus se kitne dino ki to chutti milegi,unhe jhelna nehi hoga.Isliye chal ghum aate hai,shaadi bhi enjoy kar lenge ghum bhi lenge aur jo tune waha apni khudki video game ki company kholi hai,uske bhi darshan kar lenge ke kaisa chal raha hai.Kyu?"Akash thought for some moment and replied,"Vaise...not a bad idea!Ek kaam kar tu aaj hi tickets book karwa de."Rahul nodded his head.

Paakhi secretly peeped into Ananya's room to check whether anyone was there or not.When she was fully sure,she entered inside and shut the door.After that,she walked towards Ananya's bedside dressing table and opened the drawyer.She took out Akash's photo and looked into it.She hates Akash very much,but whether that was a real hate or fake hate,she didn't know,but just like her mother,at least once in a day,she had to look at his photo and that too without letting anyone know and used to fight with his photo.Everytime,she looks at his photo,Ranjit and Manju's words roam inside her head and she used to be very angry and hate Akash even more.That day also,she did the same thing.She,making an angry face said,"I hate you Akash Saluja,I really hate you but mom loves you a lot.Nanu and buanani said that you left us and they are right,varna aap humse milne zarur aate aur hum aapke saath rehte.Achcha hua aap nehi aaye,kyuki mujhe aapke saath nehi rehna hai.Iam happy with my mom,Natasha mom and Rohit dad,my dad.Rohit dad is my real dad because he loves me a lot and I love him too.Never come back to us.We are very happy without you."Paakhi sadly said,"Mom always cries for you.She fights with nanu and buanani if they insult you.Mujhe bhi aap pasand nehi ho but main mom ko hurt nehi karna chahti kyuki I love my mom very much.Always and everytime I have to write your name behind my name even mom also uses your name.Kaash Rohit dad mere asli waale dad hote,you know sirname waale dad,to main Paakhi Mafatlal likhti not Paakhi Saluja,I hate this name."She took sometime pause and then looked intensely to his photo and said,"Mom says I look like you,but I don't and I know,mom ye sab mujhe tease karne ke liye kehti hai."She walked towards Ananya's dressing table and put the photo frame in it and compared her face with Akash's face and said,"Dekha I told you,Iam not like you coz I can't be like you.Iam a good human being but you are not.I love my mom but you don't love my mom,then how can I be like you.Pata nehi mom hamesha jhut hi kyu bolti hai."She made a face to Akash's photo."Main kuch help karu?"Suddenly someone called out from the door and Paakhi looked there with a jerk and was startled to see Ananya standing there.Paakhi was very scared to see Ananya thinking that she would now tease her.Ananya came to her and said,"Oh to chup chup kar papa se baate ho rahi thi."Paakhi corrected,"He is not my dad.He is just Akash Saluja."Ananya too corrected,"Exactly and thats the name of your father aur papa ko naam se bulaana bohot buri baat hoti hai.Bad manners!"Paakhi turned her face away from Ananya.She smiled and picked up Akash's photo and asked,"Tumhaare dad aur tumme similarity dhundhne mein main tumhaari madat karu?"Paakhi made a face as if she had been caught while committing some kind of crime.Ananya sat on her bed and held Paakhi's hand and said,"To tum bhi roz apne dad ke photo se meri tarah baate karti ho.Isliye tum chori chupe roz mere kamre mein aati ho na."Paakhi asked,"Aapko kaise pata?"Ananya replied,"Kyuki main tumhaari mom hu aur tumhe is duniya mein main lekar aayi hu isliye main tumhaari har ankahee baat bhi samajh jaati hu."Paakhi looked at Ananya and licked her dried lips.A question was arising in her mind from quite a long time,which she wanted to ask Ananya but she never got the courage to do so.Today she got that opportunity and so without any kind of drama,she directly asked,"Mom agar kabhi vo aaye to aap mujhe chorkar unke paas to nehi jaaogi na?"Ananya was stunned to hear such words from Paakhi's mouth.She did not know what to answer and how to answer her question.After a pause of sometime and gathering the replies,she said,"Paakhi,I can understand that you don't like your father but iska matlab ye nehi hai ke tum aisi baate karogi.Kisise itni nafrat karna bhi sahi nehi hai beta aur khaaskar apne hi papa se aur bina puri baat jaane."Paakhi was in no mood to listen to anything except her answer.She impatiently said,"No you have to promise me that you will never leave me."Ananya had tears of helplessness in her eyes.She said,"Main ma hu teri,tujhe chorkar kaha jaaungi beta aur rahi baat tere dad ki,vo kabhi nehi aayenge beta,kyuki teri ma itni kismatwaali nehi hai.Vo hamaare paas kabhi bhi nehi aayenge.Don't worry about that aur main tujhe chorke jee sakti hu kya?Tere papa ke baad ek tu hi hai,jiske vajah se main zinda hu varna apne aap ko maine kabka khatam kar diya hota."Ananya hugged Paakhi and said,in her mind,"Tu mujhe un dono ke beech mein se chunne ko keh rahi hai,jinse main is dunia mein sabse zyaada pyar karti hu.Tere dad kabhi nehi aayenge kyuki waapas aane ke liye tere dad ko main yaad bhi to honi chahiye.Usey to main yaad bhi nehi hu aur is vajah se teri ma sirf aasu hi baha sakti hai aur kuch nehi kar sakti,ye dua tak nehi maang sakti ke vo waapas aa jaaye."Ananya wiped her tears and broke the hug.She smiled and said,"Arey ha main to bataana hi bhul gayi ke tumme aur tumhaare dad mein ek bohot bari cheez similar hai."Paakhi asked,"Vo kya?"In reply,Ananya started tickling Paakhi and she was laughing like a mad.Ananya then turned her towards the mirror and said,"Ye dekha tere gaalo mein kaise cute cute se gadhdhe hai!Shweetu dimples!"Ananya pulled her cheeks and said,"Tere dad jab haste the na tab bilkul aise hi dimples unke gaalo mein bhi aate the aur tab main unko shweetu bulaati thi.Tu haste huye bilkul apne dad jaisi lagti hai."Paakhi angrily said,"To phir aaj se main bilkul nehi hasungi."Ananya said,"Nehi hasegi na ruk ja!"Saying Ananya again started tickling her and she screamed louder and louder.
[ 15 DAYS LATER ]
At night,Akash packed his luggage and had got ready to catch the flight to US.Namrata came to his bedroom and said,"Apna haath la."Akash gave his hand to her and she tied a black thread on his right hand arm.Akash asked,"Ye kisliye daadi?"She replied,"Aaj saalo baad,tu akele ghar se itni dur ja raha hai.Ye dhaaga hamesha teri raksha karega."Akash smiled and replied,"Daadi,main akela nehi hu Rahul bhi mere saath hai."Namrata said,"Chahe jo bhi ho,fikar to hoti hai na beta.Jab tera vo accident hua tha na tabse tujhe apne aakho se dur karte huye bohot ghabraahat hoti hai.Vaise ek taraf se sochu to achcha bhi hai,saradin bas kaam aur kaam,kamsekam isi bahaane tujhe araam bhi milega aur dosto ke saath tera dil bhi laga rahega."Akash looked at the time and said,"Achcha daadi abhi main nikalta hu,raaste mein Rahul ko bhi pick up karna hai.Main chalta hu,aap apna khayaal rakhna.Main aapko roz phone karunga."He touched her feet and took her blessings.After that he went out.While he was going out of the house,Yash crossed him as he just returned from office.He was surprised to see Akash going out with luggage.He confusingly asked,"Akash kaha ja rahe ho?Abhi to koi business meeting nehi hai Mumbai ke bahaar?"Akash replied,"Aapke business ke alava bhi meri ek personal life hai dad.Main 15 dino ke liye US ja raha hu,mere college ke dost Karan ki shaadi hai."Yash fall from the sky on hearing this news.He asked,"Tum US ja rahe ho aur tumne ye baat ghar mein kisiko nehi bataya?"Akash replied,"Main itna irresponsible nehi hu dad.Maine daadi ko bataya hai."Yash was offended and asked,"Aur tumne mujhe batana zaruri samjha?Apne dad ko nehi bataya tumne?"Akash sarcastically chuckled and replied,"Thanks dad ke aapne mujhe yaad dilaaya ke aap mere dad hai,varna main to bhul hi gaya tha.Aapne bhi to apne life ke kaafi saare important decisions mujhe bina bataaye liye the dad tab maine to aapse ye nehi pucha ke aap apne bete ko kaise bhul sakte hai."Akash looked into Yash's eyes and sternly replied,"Dusri shaadi karne se pehle aapne bhi to mujhse puchne ki zarurat nehi samjhi thi,to ye maamuli si baat na bataane se kya fark parta hai dad.Khair main abhi apna mood kharaab nehi karna chahta.Well..."He made a grin and then replied,"Maine aapki laadli beti Suhaana ka credit card re-issue karwa diya hai.Shaadi hone waali hai,jo karna chahe karle,phir to shaayad usey aisi ghar ki azaadi nehi milegi."Akash though behaved strictly with his half brothers and sisters,but somewhere inside,he always had a soft corner and a special place for Suhaana since she was his only sister.Akash bid bye to his father and Namrata and left from there.
On his way to the airport,Akash picked up Rahul.After reaching the airport,they met the Singhaniya family,Karan said,"Tune itna late kiya hai na,maine to socha tu aayega hi nehi."Akash replied,"Tere mayyat mein main na aau,aisa to ho hi nehi sakta.Tere vajah se bohot paise kharch karne pare hai itne jaldi tickets kharidne ke liye.Apni ek ek paai wasool karunga tujhse."Karan replied,"Ha ha zarur,tu fikar mat kar with interest tujhe saare paise waapas milenge."Akash greeted Karan's family and they too greeted him back.The three friends giggled and had a chit-chat about each other when their flight was announced and they left to board their flight.
On side was Akash and on the other side was Ananya.One is fully aware of the other's existence,but still she had to omit all her existence in his life while the other only had a blurred vision of the other in his dreams.One had killed all her hopes of seeing him again and the other without any knowledge and hope was going to meet his past.Now after 9 long years,both their destinies and their ways were going to cross each other in not at all so distant future.
CHAPTER - 6
Ananya and Natasha already shifted to Mahima's bunglow for the marriage purpose and as predicted correctly by Ananya,Rohit used to call her at least 15 times a day for either informing her how much he was missing her or if he was not getting anything at its place and about Ananya,Panchi and Paakhi before going to sleep,continuously called her since Ananya,used to take care of Panchi's each and everything alongwith Paakhi,after Natasha conceived again.One day,after the school,Paakhi,Panchi and Aditya were leaving for home in the car.Suddenly,Paakhi asked the driver to stop the car and told Aditya and Panchi,"Dekho waha pizza parlour hai.Mujhe pizza khaana hai,bohot din ho gaya hai nehi khaaya.Now mom is even not there and dad won't say anything,so let's go!!"Aditya said,"Ab kal hi to Rohit uncle laaye the na pizza,phir se abhi???"Paakhi gave a mocking look to Aditya and said,"Oh God!!!Stop behaving like mom,Ad!!Kal laaye the na,it had been 24 hours,now I want to eat another."Without letting Aditya argue back,she got out of the car and Aditya and Panchi followed her inside the pizza parlour.
Inside the parlour,Paakhi ordered Panchi's favourate pizza and paid it with her pocket money.Panchi making a scared face said to Paakhi,"Di aapko yaad hai Ananya mom ne kya kaha tha ke agar hume pizza khaana hai to hum ghar mein order kare ya dad ko bole,par agar mom ya dad ko pata chal gaya ke humne unhe bina bole,pizza parlour par aakar aise pizza khaaya,you know na mom will punish us."Paakhi said,"Oho Panchi don't worry,I'll inform dad and he won't tell mom anything and now just relax and enjoy the pizza."Their pizza was served and everyone gave a bite to it.On consuming the first piece,Aditya screamed,"Paakhi,ye Panchi ka favourate flavour hai and it contains mushrooms!!!You are allergetic to that!!"By that time,Paakhi had already consumed the first bite and on hearing that,she threw the rest of the piece and out of fear started yelling,"Help me!!!Call dad!!Call mom!!"Both Aditya and Panchi were too scared to react and they didn't know what to do,when suddenly Paakhi started taking deep breaths which slowly resulted into asthma attacks due to the mushrooms.Since Panchi was very small,she,on seeing Paakhi's condition,started crying,"Please save my di!!!"She started running here and there seeking help.A group of friends too were eating pizza at that time and it luckily and surprisingly,the group contained Akash,Rahul,Karan and others.Panchi and Aditya didn't see Akash's photo ever,so she went to them to seek help and said,"My di got an asthma attack please take her to the hospital!!"All the friends felt very pity for her.Akash asked,"What happened darling???Tell me!!"Panchi pulled his hand and took him to Paakhi and said,"My di is allergetic to mushrooms and she consumed that by mistake..."Akash looked at Paakhi and found her condition to be very bad.She picked her up in his arms and was about to leave when Aditya stopped him and said,"We wont go with you,you are a stranger!!"Akash replied,"I know,but right now,she needs a doctor."Aditya understood the seriousness of the situation,but in his mind he didn't want to go with him,but on seeing Paakhi who already fainted,he agreed.When all of them came out,the driver saw them and enquired about everything.The driver asked everyone to get into their car and he drove all to the hospital.
In the hospital,Akash almost ran inside with Paakhi in his arms and called the doctors to attend her immediately and by that time,the driver already informed Rohit in his office.The doctor took Paakhi inside the emergency and started her treatment.After sometime,the doctor came outside and asked,"Are you the kid's father?"Akash replied,"Uh...no!!Actually I got her in that condition in a pizza parlour and so I brought her here.How...how is she now?"The doctor replied,"Oh...she is absolutely fine.She was brought in time,before the condition would get worsen.We gave her the medicine and a sedative.After an hour,she will wake up.Please do inform her parents!!Its necessary."Akash replied,"I think her father is on the way and he will be here by any minutes.Uh...can we meet her?"The doctor replied,"Ya sure,please!!But just maintain silence."Akash nodded his head and he,Aditya and Panchi went inside to meet Paakhi.On entering inside,they found her sleeping due to the effect of the sedative.Panchi asked Aditya,"Bhaiya,di thik ho jaayegi na?"All the way to the hospital,Akash didn't get the opportunity to even ask their names and all the time,he thought them to be Americans due to their American accent in the English and on suddenly hearing hindi from Panchi's mouth,he was shocked.He asked,"Aap sab Indian ho?"Aditya and Panchi looked at him and Aditya replied,"Ha hum sab Indian hai par Paakhi aur Panchi ne yehi birth liya hai,baaki hamaari saari family India se aayi hai.Hum log last kareeb 9 years se yehi hai."Akash said,"Wow!!Thats great!!You know main bhi Indian hu."Panchi went to him and said,"Thank you uncle,agar aap na hote to meri Paakhi di mar jaati."She folded her lips and Akash was like aww on seeing her expressions.He held her hands and said,"Aisa nehi kehte beta,aapki di ko kuch nehi hoga.Aapne dekha na ke doctor ne kaha hai ke vo bilkul thik ho jaayengi."Aditya said,"Uswaqt main aapke saath aana nehi chahta tha kyuki aap stranger the,par phir bhi aapne hamaari help ki.Thank you so much."Akash patted on his cheek and said,"I was not angry balki mujhe to achcha laga ke tum itne conscious the,itne tension waale situation mein bhi.I really appreciate that."Aditya smiled.Akash asked,"Ok aap logo ka naam kya hai?"Panchi replied,"Mera naam Panchi Mafatlal hai,bhaiya ka naam Aditya Rawat hai aur meri di ka naam Paakhi hai.Vaise to mere aur di ke dad ka naam Rohit Mafatlal hai,par sab kehte hai ke meri di ko Paakhi Saluja likhna chahiye,kyuki unke dad bhi Saluja hai aur hamaari Ananya mom bhi Saluja likhti hai isliye."Panchi described everything very innocently.On hearing the name Ananya' from her mouth,Akash looked with a jerk towards Panchi.His expressions changed and he grabbed Panchi's hands and asked,"Ananya...Ye Ananya-ko-aap-sab...kaise jaante ho???Kaun hai vo?"Aditya replied,"Vo meri bua hai,Paakhi ki mom."Akash was having feelings regarding everything.The air all around started becoming very happy and he felt as if he was suffocating.But still he ignored all those feelings,thinking many people are there in the world of the same name.He smiled and replied,"Tumhe pata hai Iam also Saluja."Panchi asked,"Really???"Akash smiled and nodded his head.
Aditya and Panchi were sitting on the bed where Paakhi lied down and were eagerly waiting for her to get up.Akash was standing in front of the window and was staring at the sleeping Paakhi.His mind was surrounded by Ananya and Paakhi.Somewhere deep inside his heart,he could feel a very thin connection between them,but he could not figure out that connection.Everytime,he ignored his feelings and everytime,it gathered more space in his mind.The most surprising fact which actually grabbed his attention was other than sirname,they had another thing in common and that was both were allergetic to mushrooms.He,said,in mind,"Kitni ajeeb baat hai na...Iski bhi saas phul jaati hai mushroom khaate hi bilkul meri tarah.Meri tarah isey bhi mushrooms se allergy hai."He walked towards her bed and looked intensely towards Paakhi.He thought,"Kisi aur ki bachchi hai par phir bhi mujhe itna ajeeb kyu lag raha hai?AIsa lag raha hai jaise..."He swept away his thoughts and said,"Rubbish aisa kaise ho sakta hai!!Bachchi hai aur kaafi choti bhi to bachcho par pyar to sabhiko aata hai...Aur kahi logo ko mushrooms se allergy hoti hai,saas bhi phulti hai,that doesn't mean ke..."He again was confused and said,"Par usko lekar main yu paagalo ke tarah bhaaga bhaaga hospital aaya jaise..."Akash again looked at her and thought,"Jaise iski nehi meri jaan ja rahi ho."He felt something breaking inside him,something squeezing inside him.At that moment,he found that Paakhi was opening her eyes slowly.Panchi called Aditya,"Adi bhaiya see Paakhi di is opening her eyes."Akash stood close towards her bed and finally Paakhi opened her eyes.On opening her eyes,the first face,she saw was of Akash.She looked intensely towards his face and kept on staring out of confusion.At first,she thought that she was seeing a kind of nightmare but at that moment,Panchi said,"Di aap thik ho???Aapko pata hai main kitni dar gayi thi?Ye uncle ne na yaha laaye aapko..."On hearing this,Paakhi understood that she was not dreaming.She could not believe that her worstest nightmare was standing right in front of her and for the first time,in her life,she was seeing the man himself instead of his photo.Though she saw his photo numerous times but still,she felt as if she was seeing him for the first time,her father,her real father,her biological father,Akash Saluja.Paakhi's heart filled up with fear and hatred for him,but fear had actually occupied the larger part of her heart,which gradually took the form of anger,for loosing her mother.Akash smiled at her,but instead of smiling back,she gave Akash a hated look and she immediately got down of the bed and yelled,"Aap???Why do you came here?"Akash was confused and surprised and said,"Beta...main to aapko..."Paakhi again yelled,"I know why you came here.You came here to take my mom away.Aap meri mom ko mujhse dur lekar jaana chahte ho na.Main aisa nehi karne dungi aapko.I won't let you take my mom.Just leave right now!!!"Akash again wanted to explain but Paakhi pushed him away and yelled,"I don't want to hear anything from you.I hate you,I hate you,I hate you.Chale jaaiye aap yaha se.Hume aapki koi zarurat nehi hai.We don't need you.Just go away!!'Akash was a bit confused,irritated and disturbed at her attitude and asked,"Are you mad or what??I helped you and you are..."Paakhi was not in her sense right at that moment and she started throwing whatever was coming in her hands at him and said,"Just leave us and get lost!!!We don't want you!!We are happy without you!!Chale jaao yaha se aur kabhi waapas mat aana!!"Paakhi started throwing whatever came to her reach towards Akash.Hearing those shouting and screaming the doctors and other staffs came inside her room and controlled Paakhi from creating nuisance and requested Akash to leave from there.Aditya and Panchi were totally numb on watching the scene in front of their eyes and was totally silent.Akash left from there a bit angrily and confusingly.
On reaching there,he called Karan and Rahul and told them whatever happened in the hospital.He just reached outside,when Rohit's car stopped in front of the hospital and he ran out of the car.Without looking here and there,he just ran blankly towards inside and so he didn't notice Akash there.Rohit reached inside and enquired about Paakhi and said,"Iam Rohit Mafatlal,just an hour ago,my daughter was admitted in the hospital.She fainted after consuming mushrooms and I received a call from here.Her name is Paakhi Saluja."The nurse understood and showed him the direction towards the room.Rohit reached there and on seeing the condition of the room,he was very scared and confused.On seeing Rohit,Paakhi yelled,"Dad!!!"and ran to him and hugged him by his waist.Rohit sat on his knees and he hugged her and said,"Meri bachchi!!!Kya ho gaya?Are you alright?"He broke the hug and kissed on her face and said,"Tum thik ho na beta?Driver uncle ne mujhe phone kiya tha phir yaha se bhi phone aaya ke tumne mushroom kha liya.Kaisi ho tum aur ye kya haalat hai kamre ki?"Paakhi was crying like anything and said,"Dad he is here dad!!Vo yaha aa gaye hai!!"Rohit was unable to understand anything and so he picked her up and made her sit on the bed.The staffs cleaned everything by that time and left from there.Rohit enquired everything in detail from Aditya and on hearing all these,he was angry as well as tensed.He said,"Pehli baat to is tarah se bina kisiko bataaye tum teeno ko aise pizza parlour nehi jaana chahiye tha.You know agar Annie ko pata chal gaya to vo tum teeno ke saath saath mujhe bhi nehi choregi.Tumhe pizza khaana tha,order kar dete ya mujhe kehte.You committed a very big mistake aur phir Paakhi,room ki haalat aisi kyu thi?"Panchi replied,"Pata nehi dad,jab Paakhi di ne apni aakhe kholi na tab vo us uncle par achaanak itna gussa hui ke vo unpar cheeze uthakar phekne lagi aur bolne lagi ke vo yaha se chale jaaye aur vo mom ko unhe nehi le jaane dengi."Rohit confusingly asked,"Kya matlab?"Paakhi said,"Dad...vo...vo...Akash...Akash Saluja the,jo mujhe yaha laaye the..."Rohit was shocked like anything on hearing this.He yelled,"What???"Paakhi replied,"Yes dad he was Akash Saluja.Vo yaha aa chuke hai.I know,he came here to take my mom away.Please dad,do something..."Rohit didn't belive her at first and said,"AIsa kaise ho sakta hai beta vo yaha nehi aa sakte hai.Vo yaha kaise aayenge?Unko thore hi pata hai ke yaha tum log ho?"Paakhi said,"No dad,I swear,vo Akash Saluja hi the.Main unko pehchaanne mein hargiz galti nehi kar sakti hu,main har roz unki photo dekhti hu."Rohit replied,"But thats not possible Paakhi."Paakhi helplessly and impatiently replied,"I swear on mom.That was Akash Saluja."He decided to leave from there and said,"Ok ok ok relax!!Abhi ghar chalo,baaki baate baad mein..."Rohit picked her up in his arms and completed all the formalities of the hospital and took the kids back home.
On the way,Paakhi kept on telling Rohit that it was Akash Saluja but he ignored her words thinking she might had a nightmare or some kind of illusion due to the medicine since everytime she thinks about Akash.But on reaching home,Paakhi said,"You don't believe me dad right???Ok let me show you..."She went inside Ananya's bedroom and brought Akash's photo with her and showed that to Panchi and Aditya and asked,"Yehi the na jo mujhe hospital lekar aaye?"Panchi replied,"Ha dad ye vohi hai."Rohit's eyes widened and he looked at Panchi with a jerk.He again asked Aditya,"Adi yehi the kya vo?"Aditya too replied,"Ha Rohit uncle ye vohi the."His eyes widened as he could not believe that Akash was really in US.Paakhi said,"I told you na that was Akash Saluja and he is here."Panchi asked,"Ooo,vo Akash dad the??Matlab Paakhi di ke vo dusre waale dad?"Paakhi angrily scolded Panchi,"No need to call him dad!!He is not my dad!!"Rohit told Aditya and Panchi,"Beta tum dono jaakar change karo aur khabardaar Paakhi di hospital mein thi,ye baat kisi ko bhi pata nehi chalni chahiye khaaskar tumhaari moms ko.Is that understood?Just go!!"Two of them nodded their heads and left from there.Paakhi said,"Dad dekha na maine kaha tha na ke vohi the,aapko hua na yakeen mere baato par??"Rohit made her sit on the couch and said,"Ok I accept ke Akash Saluja is here,but..."She didn't allow him to complete and pleaded,"Dad,I don't want to loose mom.Please don't let her go.Please unhe ye mat kehna ke Akash Saluja yaha aaye hai.Please dad!!"Rohit assured her and said,"Ok ok I promise!Thik hai main waada karta hu ke main kisiko kuch nehi kahunga and main tumhe kahi aur tumhaari mom ko kabhi bhi ek dusre se alag nehi hone dunga and kahi bhi nehi jaane dunga."He promised her so that she doesn't panic.Paakhi hugged him but he too was tensed thinking about the future.He thought,"Jis tufaan ko itne saalo tak dabaa kar rakkha tha,pata nehi ab ye tufaan kis tarah se sabki zindagi badal kar rakh dega.Jo bhi chahe ho,par mujhe apni family ko protect karna hai,mujhe apne bachcho ko protect karna hai.Mujhe sab thik karna hai aur agar sach mein Akash yaha hai,to mujhe kisi bhi haal mein Annie aur usey milwaana hai,Paakhi should get the love of her father aur un dono ko Akash ki zindagi mein unka haq milna hi chahiye."He made a grin.
3 days before the marriage,the kids too shifted in Mahima's house and at last the D-day of Mahima-Karan's marriage and Ananya and Akash's meeting after 9 long year arrived.
