"Burn down this warehouse. Do you understand what I'm saying? I don't want any clue left. Am I clear to you?"
"Yes sir. It'll be done."
"Good."
The man stormed towards the car and turned around for one last time "Now you will know what happens when you mess with me Agent Saluja."
The black land cruiser started and he took out his cell phone.
"We are heading towards the hideout."
The car sped through the jungle on the muddy path and then suddenly stopped at a point. The man yelled at the driver "Why the hell did you stop here? I told you to head towards the hideout."
Dr: I am sorry but that won't be possible sir.
Man: What? What the...
The driver turned towards him and the man got shocked to the core
Dr: Hello Rakesh.
The man was quick enough to reach for his gun but the other one was quicker as he had already pointed his gun towards the one referred to as Rakesh. Suddenly, the car doors on the both sides opened and soon Rakesh found out that he was surrounded from all sides. He was brought out of the car and one of the men was tying his hands up when he made a last attempt to flee. But his effort went in vain as he was soon caught up by them again and this time, he got a good number of punches on his face. He glared at them to which they only returned a mocking smile.
Ra: Who the hell are you? How dare you! Do you know who I am!
The man who was in disguise of the driver, bent over a little towards him and gave a mocking smile
Man: Come on, Rakesh! Why are you defaming yourself? You are extremely famous in the crime world. How wouldn't we know you?
Rakesh gritted his teeth
Ra: Who the hell are you?
Man: Oh! You still didn't recognise us? Come on Rakesh! Give us some least respect as your enemy!
He held up Rakesh's chin roughly and glared at him
Man: We are from Defence Intelligence Bureau and I am DIB agent Arjun Singh.
Rakesh looked at him shocked
Ra: How...how the heck...
Ar: How the heck we know your plan? Well, you know agent Saluja pretty well right? He is the one who helped us to reach you. Actually no! A great mistake of mine! He didn't but you did by kidnapping his wife Ananya. You know what, thank you very much. Thank you for kidnapping her and letting us catch you after such a hectic search.
The man stared at him and then surprising them; started laughing like a mad.
Ar: Oh my goodness! What happened? Was I able to give a great shock?
Ra: No! But I have a very good one
for you.
Arjun frowned at him and Rakesh spoke up in a low nasty voice
Ra: Your bloody friend is dead! You hear me! Dead! I shot him. And his body might be burning right now with his wife burning alive. And you've nothing to do.
Arjun gave him a glare while Rakesh laughed louder. Arjun gave him a meaningful mocking look and laughed out loud. This time Rakesh stopped laughing and gave Arjun a shocked look
Ar: Well, neither could you.
Ra: What?
Ar: You too couldn't shock me cause I'm afraid to inform you my friend, that agent Saluja and his wife both are perfectly fine.
This time Arjun got what he wanted. There it was- extreme shock in Rakesh's eyes. It was visibly clear that he didn't want to believe what he heard. Suddenly, he started screaming like a psychopath
Ra: No this is not true. This can't happen. I killed him myself. I saw the warehouse burning. My men burned it down. You are lying. They are dead...dead!
Ar: Okay then, I'll let you see for yourself. Boys, let's take him there.
When Aakash and Ananya finally came out, they were relieved getting the fresh air. They realised that they were craving for this-freedom finally. An old man came out of one of the black SUVs and hugged Aakash.
Ak: Thanks a lot sir. Thanks for saving us.
Boss: No Aakash. Thanks to you. Because of you we were able to track down this vicious criminal after so long.
He then turned towards Ananya
Bo: And also to Ananya. What you have done has really made me feel proud Ananya. Your courage and perseverance is just amazing! You know what, that's why I tell Aakash that you too should join DIB.
Ananya laughed while Aakash rolled his eyes.
An: I would love to do that sir.
Ak: Yeah, and then she will make my life a bigger hell with her never ending tantrums. Please sir, at least let me work with peace.
Aakash's boss laughed out loud while Ananya playfully punched him.
The environment turned heavy when they saw the land cruiser. Rakesh was brought out and he was shocked to the core to see Aakash and Ananya safe. And then another shock seeing all his men tied up and badly injured. He looked at Aakash carefully and in return he got Aakash's mocking smile
Ak: Oops! Shocked Rakesh? You should have kept in mind that there is a thing called bullet proof jacket. And we are not fools to not take precautions before we go to confront our enemies.
All Rakesh could do was glare back until he and his men were taken to the cars.
The morning sun rays fell on Aakash's face and he opened his eyes as his sleep was disturbed. He turned to look at his wife cuddling in his arms. He smiled ever so sweetly and traced her face with soft kisses until she woke up
An: You remember something?
Aakash frowned while Ananya rolled her eyes.
Ak: Remember what?
An: Aakash you are just impossible! You forgot! You promised me a dinner date! And you just forgot! I hate you Aakash!
Aakash suppressed his laugh when Ananya was about to storm out of the bed. He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him with a force and Ananya nearly crashed on his chest.
Ak: How could I forget my promise I made to my love?
An: So you were just teasing me!
Ak: I love to tease you love. Now, I will surely keep my promise but you need to give me something.
An: What? Morning kiss?
Ak: No! Just a morning kiss won't work baby. More than that!
As soon as he finished, he swiftly turned her over and caged her within his arms.
