CHAPTER - 16

Akash and Ananya's marriage preparations started on full swing.All the guests and relatives all over the country and world were sent invitations for the marriage and people of Ananya's orphanage were also called.All the pre-marriage rituals were completed successfully.Koel all the time was asking whether marriage had arrived or not so that she could play with that.Though,it was their marriage but Akash and Ananya did not get rid of running behind Koel,especially Ananya nagging behind Koel to have her food.On the day of the marriage,when both Akash and Ananya came downstairs for the marriage rituals,Koel ran to them and raised her arms asking Ananya to pick her up.Sulekha said,"Koel beta tum mere paas aao,abhi mamma papa ki shaadi hai na."Koel forcefully nodded her head and said,"Nei!!Main apni mamma ke paach laungi."Akash and Ananya sat on the mandap and Koel sat on her mother's lap.Akash asked,"Toyel beta ye to bataao ke aaj mamma zyaada achchi lag rahi hai ya papa?"Koel,without thinking replied,"Mamma boot aththi lag lahi hai,chindella jaichi."Ananya asked,"Aur papa achche nehi lag rahe hai?"Koel replied,"Nei!!!Ganne papa hamecha ganne lagte hai,mamma pinchech hai aul ganne papa...ganne papa...booot ganne lag lahe hai."Akash made a sad face and asked,"Toyel ke papa ganne lagte hai?"Koel nodded her head.Ananya asked,"Aur Koel ke papa?"Koel smiled and replied,"Toyel ke papa aththe hai."Akash smiled back.

The priest started the marriage rituals and during the pheras only,after a lot of persuation,Koel agreed to go to Sulekha.The pheras were completed and with each phera Ananya's dream were turning true of marrying her love Akash and was going to live her whole life with him.After the completion of the marriage rituals,everyone were invited for the dinner.Everyone took their dinner except Koel since she already fall in deep sleep.So,she was made to lie down on the bed in Sulekha's room and the nib of a feeding bottle of milk was inserted inside her mouth and she drank the milk in her sleep.

After the post-marriage rituals and after the guests left,Akash and Ananya were sent to take rest in their bedroom.Ananya was sitting on the bed and Akash too came and sat beside her.She said,"Tumhe pata hai Akash,ye sab kuch na mujhe ek sapne jaisa lag raha hai.Jab tumne hospital mein medicines aur treatment ko response dena bandh kar diya tha,tab dheere dheere meri saari ummedein khatam ho chuki thi,par phir bhi vishwaas ka ek diya tha jo dil mein jal raha tha ke tum kabhi na kabhi,aaj ya to kal apni aakhe tum zarur khologe aur mera naam loge.Har ek din jaata tha aur main yehi sochti thi ke kal to zarur tum hosh mein aaoge.Dekhte dekhte 4 saal beet gaye aur company aur ghar sambhaalte sambhaalte kab ye dil thora sakt ban gaya pata hi nehi chal gaya.Jee to rahi thi par sharer mein jaan nehi thi.Phir ek din tumne aakhe kholi aur mera naam liya...mere dil ka vo patthar pighal gaya...mujhme jaise jaan aa gayi...aur-""Ssshhh!!"Akash put his finger on her lips and said,"Bas!!!Ab aur kuch mat bolo..."He cared her face and replied,"Main jaanta hu ke tumne akele mere bina kitna kuch jhela hai,par aaj ke baad tum un dino ko kabhi yaad nehi karogi.Ab sab kuch thik hoga kyuki ab hum saath hai.Ab hum sirf aur sirf apne aane waale zindagi ke baare mein sochenge jo bohot zyaada khubsurat hai aur hume ab apniKoel ke baare mein sochna hai,uski achchi future ke baare mein sochna hai."Akash lightly punched on Ananya's nose and asked,"Samjhi Toyel ki mamma??"Ananya pulled his nose and replied,"Samajh gayi Toyel ke ganne papa!!"They both laughed a lot and then hugged each other.

Next morning,Akash went to Sulekha's bedroom and brought Koel to his room.He deliberately started teasing Koel to wake her up from her sleep.He pulled her cheeks,her nose,her hands and her legs.Koel was making disturbed moaning sounds.He was constantly calling koel,"Mei pyaali Toyel,uth jaao,ganne papa ko aapke saath khelna hai na??Aapko pata hai main kitna bore ho raha hu.Utho utho jaldi utho."Due to constant teasing and pulling of cheeks,Koel,closing her her eyes and in a very angry tone screamed,"Mamma!!!Mamma!!"Ananya came running to their bedroom and enquired,"Kya hua??Kya hua Koel???"Koel cried out,"Ganne papa ganne hai!!!"Ananya became very angry with him and she scolded Akash,"Akash ye kya hai?Kyu pareshaan kar rahe ho Koel ko??Abhi tum ye jo usey zabardasti uthaaoge na to saradin itna chiri hui rahegi,itne nakhre dikhaayegi ke usey sambhaalna mushkil ho jaayega."Akash said,"To main kya karu??Main to bore ho raha hu na.Mujhe iske saath khelna hai."Ananya looked at the time and slowly and very lovingly woke Koel up and said,"Chalo chalo chalo,mamma abhi apne princess ko brush kara degi phir mamma ne pata hai Koel ke liye unka favourate breakfast banaya hai."Koel asked,"Conpheckch(Cornflakes)???"Ananya replied,"Ha!!!Chalo chalo chalo!!"Ananya took her away and asked Akash to go to the breakfast table.After sometime,Ananya returned with Koel and joined in the breakfast.Sulekha said,"So,now you are married!!To honeymoon par kaha jaane ka plan hai?"Ananya replied,"Nehi daadi hum kahi nehi ja rahe hai.Vo...Koel bohot choti hai,vo mere bina nehi reh sakti hai na,to hum nehi jaayenge."Akash said,"To Koyel ko saath lekar challenge,isme kaunsi bari baat hai."Ananya replied,"Nehi,daadi akele par jaayegi.Vo akele sab kuch kaise sambhaalegi?Nehi!!Nehi!!"Sulekha replied,"Koi baat nehi na Ananya,main managae kar lungi yaha aur vaise bhi pehle sab kuch main hi to kiya karti thi."Ananya said,"Tabki baat aur thi...par ab aap mere rehte ghar sambhaalegi...aisa nehi hoga."Koel suddenly asked,"Baidaadi,chaadi kab aayegi???Phichche chaadi laao."All started laughing on hearing her words and Sulekha replied,"Thik hai,main jald hi tumhaare liye shaadi lekar aaungi."Akash said,"To phir thik hai,ye tey raha ke hum sab challenge."Ananya agreed.Sulekha said,"Tum logo ke honeymoon par main kaise ja sakti hu,paagal ho gaye ho kya?"Ananya replied,"To hum family trip par chalte hai.Sab milkar ghum bhi lenge aur thora sa change bhi ho jaayega."Ignoring Sulekha's constant preaching of NO',Akash booked tickets for all of them.During the flight,when the flight took off,Koel screamed out very loudly and continuously cried and panicked to go home but with great difficulty Ananya controlled her.During the trip,everyone enjoyed a lot and during their return journey,Ananya,while going to the airport,made Koel sleep and so during the flight took off,she didn't create any scene.

[ 2 YEARS LATER ]

By now,Akash took over the charge of his business and Ananya took over the charge of the house and Koel too,turned 5 years and Akash threw a grand party for his daughter's birthday.One day,while Ananya was cooking lunch for the family,when Akash came in the kitchen with Koel on his shoulder.Akash said,"Toyel zara mamma se pucho to vo kya bana rahi hai?"Koel asked Ananya,"Mamma aap kya bana rahi ho?"Ananya replied,"Mamma khaana bana rahi hai sabke liye."Akash said,"Achcha Toyel mamma se pucho ke vo Toyel ke liye kya bana rahi hai?"Koel asked,"Mamma aap mere liye kya bana rahi hai?"Ananya replied,"Mamma Koel ke liye Paneer bana rahi hai,kyuki Koel ko vo bohot pasand hai na,isliye."Akash said,"Toyel mamma se pucho to ke vo Toyel ke papa ke liye kya bana rahi hai?"Koel asked,"Mamma aap gande papa ke liye kya banaayenge?"Ananya replied,"Gande papa ke liye,gandi sabzi banegi."She turned to put all the bowls on the table.Suddenly,everything started appearing blurred and Ananya's head started spinning and paining very badly.Ananya grabbed her head with her fingers and fall on the ground.Koel screamed,"Mamma!!Papa mamma!!"Akash panicked and ran towards Ananya to hold her.Sulekha immediately called the doctor and asked Akash to take her to her room.While the doctor was examining Ananya,Koel was crying as loudly as possible thinking that her mother would die and Akash was constantly comforting her.Koel said,"Meri mamma...meri mamma mar jaayegi...meri mamma..."Akash said,"Mamma ko kuch nehi hoga beta,don't worry.Mamma ki bas thori si tabiyat kharaab ho gayi hai.Doctor uncle check kar rahe hai na."The doctor after sometime,called them inside.Sulekha was rubbing Ananya's head and asked the doctor,"Doctor kya hua isey?"The doctor replied,"Its a good news!!Ananya is pregnant!!"Three of them except Koel became very happy and excited.Akash asked,"Really???Main baap banne waala hu?"The doctor nodded her head.Koel was looking at everyones face with dumb expressions.She climbed on the bed and hugged Ananya and said,"Meri mamma...meri mamma ko kuch nehi hoga."Ananya broke the hug and said,"Ha Koel ki mamma ko kabhi kuch nehi hoga."Sulekha said,"Pata hai Koel,tumhaari mamma na tumhaare liye ek bohot pyaara sa gift lane waali hai."Koel was very happy on hearing about gift and asked,"Sach mein???Kaisa gift???Dol ya teddy??"Sulekha said,"Mamma tumhaare liye ek chota sa bhai ya behen laane waali hai."Koel was confused and asked,"Bhai ya behen???Kaha se aur kitna chota?"Akash said,"Ittu sa chota aur mamma usko bhagwaan ke paas se laayegi aur uske saath aap din bhar khelna."Koel asked,"Par kya mamma chotu baby se mujhse zyaada pyar karegi?"Ananya cared Koel and said,"Na na mera chotu baby,main hamesha sabse zyaada pyar sirf tumhi se karungi."Koel was very happy on hearing that her mother would only love her.

[ 9 MONTHS LATER ]

Akash,Sulekha and Koel waiting outside the delivery room for the doctor.When she arrived,she gave the good news that Ananya delivered a beautiful baby boy.Akash was overjoyed on hearing that he became father again and Koel asked,"Mera chotu bhai aaya hai gande papa?"Akash replied,"Ha,chalo chalkar chotu bhai aur mamma se milte hai."Everyone entered inside and found Ananya lying on the bed and under her arms,there was a small baby.Akash picked the baby up on his arms and started caring him.Koel said,"Mujhe bhi apne chotu bhai ko dekhna hai.Mujhe dikhaao."Akash showed her the face of her brother.Koel said to Ananya,"Ye to bohot cute hai,bilkul meri tarah."She then said to Akash,"Papa abse main aapko gande papa nehi bulaaungi chahe aap mujhe kitni baar bhi Toyel bulaao."Akash hugged his daughter and his son together.He had tears in his eyes and said to Ananya,"Maine Koel ka bachpan nehi dekha par ab main apne bete ke zariye,Koel ka bhi bachpan dekh lunga.Thank you for completing my family Ananya!!I love you so much!!"Sulekha took the baby from him and said,"Arey mujhe to dekhne de apne ghar ke chiraag ko.Mere khaandaan ka kuldeepak."She said to Ananya,"Pehle lakshmi di aur ab hamaare vansh ko aagey baraane waala ye taufa.Thank you so much Ananya for everything."Ananya just smiled.

After a few days of Ananya's returning,there was a big party for the arrival of the new member in the family.Everyone arrived at the party and blessed the couples and the new born baby.During the naming ceremony of the baby,the priest asked Akash and Ananya,what should be his name.Koel said,"Mamma papa nehi...main rakkhungi.Main dungi apne chotu bhai ka naam."Ananya replied,"Ha ha tum hi do."Akash asked,"Kya naam socha hai vaise aapne apne bhai ka?"Koel replied,"Mera naam Koel hai na to mere bhai ka naam hoga Khush,vo hamesha meri tarah khush rahega.Achcha naam hai na?"Both Ananya and Akash together said,"Bohot achcha naam hai!!"Ananya said to Akash,"Ab hum kabhi alag nehi honge,hamesha saath rahenge.Hai na?"Akash replied,"Ha ab hum kabhi juda nehi honge."Both Akash and Ananya kissed their kids.

Akash and Ananya faced a lot of hardships in their love life,especially Ananya when Akash was in coma,but she never loose hope and fount bravely in each and every circumstances.Due to her strong faith and due to her true love,Akash returned to her from the coma and her broken dream of getting married to him was finally fulfilled and she reunited with her love for eternity and they all lived happily ever after.
