CHAPTER - 12

Ananya woke up in the morning with a jerk screaming Muskaan's name.Akash too woke up by her side and asked,"Kya hua Ananya?Tum aise uth kyu gayi?"Ananya replied,"Akash mujhe bohot ghabraahat ho rahi hai.Pata nehi kyu mujhe aisa lag raha hai ke meri Muskaan ki jaan khatre mein hai."He asked,"Ye kaisi baate kar rahi ho Ananya?"She replied,"Mujhe nehi pata par main itna jaanti hu vo mujhe bula rahi hai,vo waha thik nehi hai.Please tum kuch karo Akash."He said,"Ye sab sirf tumhaara vehem hai Ananya.Vo thik hai aur Anjaliji hai na uske saath."She said,"Nehi meri bachchi thik nehi hai.Mera dil keh raha hai.Please tum usse ek baar baat karlo na."He said,"Dekho main phone to kar sakta hu par ek baar socho agar hum ye sab unse puchenge to unko kitna bura lagega ke hume unpar bharosa nehi hai..."Ananya impatiently replied,"Tumhaari har baat to maine maani hai na Akash phir tum meri ek request bhi nehi maan sakte ho kya?Tumne unhe Muskaan ko de diya,maine ye bhi saha par ab kya tum unse uski khair-khabar tak nehi puch sakte?Kya itna bhi rishta nehi raha hamaara Muskaan ke saath?"Akash consoled her and said,"Ok.Thik hai main Anjaliji se phone par baat karke unse puch lunga."Ananya was convinced.

From then Anjali everyday took Muskaan to her office just to save her from Sunita's plight.In her office,one day,she cancelled all the meetings and ordered not to disturb her.Muskaan went to her and said,"Bu!Mu mamma!Mamma!"She made a puppy face.Anjali said,"Mamma ke paas jaana chahti hai na Anu,bua sab samajhti hai beta,par main kya karu,agar tu chali bhi jaayegi tab bhi vo tere chacha chachi tera peecha nehi chorenge."Muskaan's nanny Steffy said,"Anjali mam,main bhi aapse bohot dino se yehi kehneka soch rahi thi,ke aap baby ko vohi unhike paas bhej dijiye jaha se aap inhe laayi thi."Anjali replied,"I know Steffy,par aisa karne se uske jaan par latki hui talwaar hat nehi jaayegi.Main Anu ki life ko hamesha ke liye secure karna chahti hu."Steffy said,"Par kaise mam,aapki bhabhi mujhe bhot khatarnaak aurat lagti hai.Vo to kuch bhi kar sakti hai.Arey itna ganda behave agar vo baby ke saath kar sakti hai to aagey chalkar pata nehi vo aur kya karegi."Anjali replied,"Jaanti hu,that's why I have a plan.Main unko unke kiye ki sazaa dilaana chahti hu.I want to punish them.I want your help for that."Steffy replied,"Main baby ke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hu mam."Anjali told her about the plan and said,"Ye plan execute karne se pehle hume unki zindagi haraam karni paregi,unhe har choti se choti cheez ke liye bheekh mangwaana parega,tabhi jaakar hamaara ye plan pura hoga."Anjali nodded her head.

From that day onwards,Anjali made Sunita and Anuj's life hell for everything.For each and every small small things,Anjali made them beg in front of her.But the main obstacle that rose in front of her was Muskaan's constant crying for her mother.She gradually became too much patienceless and always cried to go back to Ananya,so Anjali decided to execute her plan as soon as possible.She increased the level of torture a bit more so that they could commit the mistake as soon as possible.As days passed by,Anjali realized that the ultimate day was soon to be arrived.So she asked Steffy to be all prepared and to do correctly whatever she had explained.One day,2-3 goons attacked their house and captivated Anjali,Steffy and Muskaan.They started shouting for help and on hearing their shout,Anuj and Sunita came downstairs.Muskaan started crying loudly.On seeing them being captivated,Anuj and Sunita laughed out loudly.Sunita said,"Don't worry,ye log hamaare hi aadmi hai.Itne dino se to bohot pharphara rahi thi na Anjali,ab kya hua?Pankh kat gaye na tere?"Anuj grinned,"Bikhaario ki tarah zindagi banaakar rakh di thi hamaari jaise bhaiya rakhte the.Har cheez ke liye tere aagey,apni choti behen ke aagey haath felaana parta tha jaise pehle unke aagey phelaana parta tha."Anjali asked,"Ye sab aap kya keh rahe hai bhaiya?"Anuj took out a gun and said,"Main jo keh raha hu bilkul thik keh raha hu.Tang aa gaya hu main in bikhaariyo jaisi zindagi se."Anjali asked,"Par bare bhaiya ne to aapko Miami waala pura business diya tha?"Sunita replied,"Vo chota sa hissa???Bas???Anuj unke sage bhai the aur unhone inke saath naukro jaisa sulook kiya.Arey aisa to koi apne dushman ke saath bhi nehi karta."Anuj sat on the sofa and said,"Aur isiliye...isiliye,maine bhaiya aur bhabhi dono ko marwa diya."Anjali shivered with fear and looked at them in disbelieve.She asked,"Aapne...???"He replied,"Ha maine.Unki gaari ka accident nehi hua tha,balki maine karwaaya tha,brake fail karke.Par tab mujhe nehi pata tha ke unhone India ki apni saari property ki caretaker tujhe banaakar rakkha hai.Khair jaise unhe raaste se hata diya,vaise tujhe bhi denge."Anjali grinned,"Aapko sharam nehi aayi bhaiya,jinhone ma baap ki tarah hume paala,aapne unke saath aisa kiya.Ek choti bachchi se uske ma-baap ko cheen liya?Chee!!"Sunita's eyes shone like a devil and she replied,"Jo haq asaani se na miley usey cheen lena parta hai aur mere pati ne aisa hi kiya."Anuj replied,"Ab bohot ho gaya.Bohot kuch jaan chuki ho tum,ab tum teeno ka khaaskar is Anu ka jo hamaare raaste ka ek lauta kaata hai is dunia mein rehne ka koi haq nehi hai."He walked to Anu at first and kissed on her forehead and said,"Bye bye meri pyari bhatiji!"He then kissed on Anjali's forehead and said,"Bye bye my sweet little sister!"He moved away from them a bit and then raised the gun and put his finger on the trigger and said,"Chalo bhaiya bhabhi tum dono ka besabri se upar intezaar kar rahe hai.Goodbye forever!"The moment he was about to pull the trigger,one of the goons,shot in his hand.Anuj screamed and fall on the ground and yelled,"You!!!Ye kya hai?"Anjali casually gave a cruel smile and said,"Magic bhaiya!Tit for tat!"Sunita while helping her husband to stand asked,"Kya matlab?"Anjali replied,"Ye aapke pyaare patidev ke paaltu gunde nehi,policewaale hai.Jisdin aapne hume marwaane ka plan banaaya tha,maine aapki saari baate sun li thi aur ye jo peechle kuch dino se aap logo ke saath ho raha tha vo isi plan ka hissa tha.Main jaanti thi ke aap log koi na koi galti zarur karenge,lijiye karli aap dono ne galti."Steffy opened the door and from there entered Karan and a few of his constables.Anjali then took out a camera which was hidden in the room inside the vase and gave it to Karan and said,"Main jaanti thi ke mere bare bhaiya aur bhabhi ki maut accident nehi thi,par uswaqt mere paas saboot nehi tha par ab hai.Ye lijiye inme inki saari confession recorded hai."Karan took the camera and ordered his people to arrest them.After that Anjali said,"Mujhe ek jagah par jaana hai.Kya aap mere saath chalenge?"Karan nodded his head.

Ananya and Akash had completed their dinner and all were going to sleep.At that moment,they heard the door-bell ring.Mrs Rawat asked,"Itni raat ko kaun aaya hoga?"Akash said,"Main dekhta hu."Akash went to the door and opened it carefully.On opening it,he saw Karan standing.Akash asked,"Karan tu???Itni raat ko?"Karan smiled and said,"Bhabhi kaha hai?Unke liye ek surprise laaya hu."Akash called Ananya and she came to them.Akash asked,"Kaisa surprise?"Karan moved away a bit from the door and to everyone's shock as well as Ananya's surprise,Anjali came with a smiling face and with sleeping Muskaan in her arms.Anjali forwarded her arms and said to Ananya,"Lijiye sambhaaliye apni amaanat ko."Ananya froze at that moment and was staring at Anjali on one second and at Muskaan on the other second.Anjali replied,"Aap sapna nehi dekh rahi hai Ananyaji.Ye aaphiki Muskaan hai."Ananya with shaky hands touched Muskaan and the moment,she realized that it was real,she immediately took her in her arms and kissed her madly.She was sobbing with happiness and said,"Meri bachchi,meri jaan,mamma ke paas waapas aa gayi mera bachcha.I sooo missed you beta."She hugged her as tightly she could and rained kisses on her face.Anjali said,"Ye bina kuch khaaye hi so gayi Ananyaji."Ananya understood and so she took her inside.Akash was still in a confused state.He asked,"Ye sab??"Anjali said,"Main jaanti hu ke iswaqt aapke dil mein kya chal raha hai,par aaj nehi main kal shaam ko aaungi aur aakar aap sabko sab kuch bataaungi,bas ab itna bol sakti hu ke abse hamesha ke liye Anu aapki hui aur usey aapse ab koi nehi cheenega aur ye lijiye uski doll,jiske bina usko neend nehi aati."Akash had tears in his eyes.He grabbed her hands and said,"Sach!!!"Anjali nodded her head and then both Karan and she left from there.When Akash returned to his room,he found,that Muskaan was sucking the bottle of milk in her sleep and Ananya was staring at her.After,she finished the milk,Ananya removed the bottle and then slowly kissed on her little hands.Akash came and sat on the other side of the bed and said,"Aakhir tumhaari bhagwaan ne sun li.Muskaan ab hamesha ke liye hamaare paas waapas aa gayi."Ananya said,"Ha."He said,"Today I promise you ke chahe ab kuch bhi ho jaaye,main Muskaan ko hamaare zindagi se dur kahi nehi jaane dunga.Saari dunia se agar larna pare to vo bhi karunga."He bend over Muskaan and kissed on her forehead.Ananya was still pampering her.He giggled and said,"Bas bhi karo Ananya,zyaada karogi to jag jaayegi aur ye sab karne ke liye abhi puri zindagi pari hai."Ananya controlled herself and put the doll in Muskaan's arms and she slept peacefully.

Next morning,Muskaan woke up and rubbed her eyes.After that,the first thing which she saw in front of her eyes,was the large king size photo of her,Ananya and Akash on the wall.She at first didn't react but the moment,she was accustomed to the environment near her,she had a big smile on her face.She screamed,"Mamma papa Mu!"She came down of the bed and ran out of the room in her shaky legs.After coming out,she called,"Mamma papa!"She went towards the dining hall happily called,"Mamma papa!"Ananya came out of the kitchen and like always,she saw Muskaan's smiling face.Muskaan raised her arms and said,"Mei mamma!"Tears ran down of Ananya's eyes and she ran to her and picked her up in her arms.She said,"Teri ma ye shabd tere muh se sunne ke liye taras gayi thi beta."Muskaan said,"Mu mamma!"Ananya replied,"Ha ha mujhe pata hai ke meri Muskaan ne apni mamma ko bohot yaad kiya hai.Mamma bhi to kitna royi hai apni Muskaan ke liye."Muskaan wiped her tears and then rubbed her cheeks with Ananya's and said,"Mu mamma na!"Ananya said,"Ha ha ab Muskaan mamma se dur kahi nehi jaayegi.Mamma usey kahi jaane hi nehi degi.I so love you baby."Akash said,"Mamma ke milte hi papa ko bhul gayi."Muskaan saw Akash and said,"Mee papa!"She raised her one arm.Akash came to her and picked her up in his arms and said,"Tumhaare sabse bare gunehgaar tumhaare papa hi hai,maine hi tumhe waha bheja tha.But I promise ab ye galti kabhi nehi hogi.Abse Muskaan,mamma aur papa hamesha ek saath rahenge,happy family banke.Papa too missed you so much."Both kissed on her cheeks.She then came down of their arms and went to her grandparents.Everyone pampered her a lot and gave a lot of chocolates to her.Ananya and Akash were watching them how Muskaan was making them run behind her all over the house.Akash wiped Ananya's tears and asked,"Ab kyu ro rahi ho?"Ananya said,"Aaj mahine baad mera ghar ghar lag raha hai,sab meri Muskaan ke vajah se."Akash replied,"Aur ye khushiya ab kabhi nehi jaayengi."Ananya nodded her head.
