The concept is new to Indian Tv and Cvs should concentrate on what actually going on in A I R L I N E S .
Because there are others shows which crime/spy shows too and we can get the thrill and suspence from there too!

It's actually okay if they had had the thriller thing as the subplot and focussed on the airline industry and the lives of its crew. But it seems as if they are trying to do too many things at the same time!

And too much of danger and drama and suspense- Ananya was in danger continuously for two days in two separate threats- first she was threatened by the gunman and rescued by Akash, and then she and Natasha were kidnapped and then- yes, rescued by Akash🥱🥱🥱 Too much!

THE PERSONAL BITS...

As for Akash not noticing the call from Ananya, and the boss keenly cataloging his reactions to the video- something about it troubled me. Does it mean that in the course of time, Akash will ignore his romantic interest in the call of duty? Will this collision of personal and professional lives prove fatal for him? That remains to be seen.

And for those complaining about the lack of romance- I agree that it must have been disheartening. But it's a finite series after all, and they can't show every dinner that the lead pair has together. I liked the bit where Akash is anxiously anticipating her arrival and teasing her about shopping. In real life, this is how it happens- men make their interest known in subtle gestures and expressions like these- teasing their ladies, constantly giving them attention, asking them out to dinners on the lamest of pretexts. So I liked it.😃

At this point I want to see some angst between Akash and Ananya. What's the fun if they have a smooth ride? Show them fighting once...That's all i ask! And why was Natasha so silent in today's epi?

It was lovely to see the new-found camaraderie between Rathore and Ananya. They've become so friendly, and it's a sight for sore eyes considering how antagonistic they were towards each other in the beginning of the series. Their shared traumatic experience has created a bond between them for life. Hope this warmth remains till the end😳

And Rohit apparently has a girl in his life. Surprising...NOT! Considering how the articles told us that he's like Siddharth Mallya. And again, it would not be shocking if he has many more 'babies' calling him up!

Kunal- Didn't get good vibes from him. I think he might be a mole to somehow look into Mahima's secrets through Shefali and Megha. Or they wouldn't have devoted nearly ten minutes to their meeting.

Interested for the next episode. The entire crew has fainted, and from what I saw, Ananya is the only one who didn't (perhaps I am mistaken?) So she'll be the saviour of the day, as usual! How...novel

Amrutha...nice to see your thoughts after a looong time...Do miss your drabbles..so write more when u have time and on your OS request will write one before Airlines is off air so to be precise in the next 13 weeks...btw watching Everest also nowadays but its exactly the opposite complaint I have there..Here people crib about Akash and Ananya's dinner and there its less of mountaineering and more of romance of the leads...too much sweetness is boring..People who are complaining about mystery focus and not aviation focus..I guess its input for Advita Kala...just because its her forte u cannot have it in all and sundry shows of yours..well I keep saying too many plots and subplots in a short span of 26episodes..

Nice to see you too😊

And I definitely will. It's just that the show is not giving fodder for any drabbles. Everything is so smooth between the leads- no conflict, no angst. The minute that starts, I will pen one down😉

And I am holding you to your OS promise😃

I will say this about Hindi shows- they don't integrate the romance smoothly into the general plot outline. It's fine if the show's premise itself is romance- the Mills and Boon's type. Because at least they're being honest, catering to the audience and delivering what they promised. I am watching a show like that on Sony, from a production house that revels in showing teenybopper romance. And I gleefully enjoy it😃 And it's not a problem if it's a saas-bahu show- because only a small segment watches for the romance. The show primarily has kitchen politics as its selling point.

But niche shows like Airlines and Everest need to negotiate properly between their themes and the customary romance bit. God knows I love my share of romance on TV. Face it, no movie or television show is incomplete without showing the mutual intimacies and the interpersonal relations of its protagonists. But it should not compromise with the vision of the maker and what they promised initially to the viewers.

I am not watching Everest because whenever I see a glimpse of it, there's this very high-school type rivalry with two factions, or there's the guy with the cute dimples(whom I like😉) and a female lead with a limited range of expressions IMO😳. I am going to tune in at the fag end of the series when the actual expedition begins.

And amen to your last line- too many plots and sub-plots. Specifically, too many thrills. I was particularly disgruntled when they made Ananya the damsel in distress two episodes in a row😡

But what redeems this serial any day is that the leads are watchable- nay, lovable😃 Akash- we all know the reasons. And you and I particularly admire Ananya, I think😊 Though inflicted by the mahanta bug, she is very courageous and a woman of spirit, and has the right mix of naivety and intelligence. Give me a vulnerable, naive but ridiculously brave Ananya over Star Plus' bahus and beendhnis any day!!!

Looks like your prayers are answered with Ananya frantically hunting for Akash..angst definitely on the way!!

Even me a sucker for romance and I know the show u r talking about .I watched a show earlier from the same production house and the chemistry between the leads was mesmerizing atleast to me. So, I watch here and there of this show on Sony but somehow I did not find it so interesting types and I am so bored of the same concept of rich guy fashion house and small town middle class girl falling for each other. Why for once cant it be the other way round?

Agree but till now I find Airlines romance comparatively balanced compared to Everest but given the new concept it endears me to it and even I have to bear the so thanda romance between the expressionless leads..And coming to expressions this hijack drama serial which seems to continue for ages and has been ruling the charts from since it started. The lady protagonist has been infront of cameras for years now and still seems does not even have 12 expressions on her face at least 1 a month maybe...They have made a joke of the thing called hijack and I don't know people who have actually faced it would react to it. At least they could have seen some videos of Discovery to see how hijacks are handled.

Yes, when it comes to Ananya we both like her and the reasons you well mentioned above.
