Hey peeps! I have had had delays this week and absolutely am sorry for the waiting I had to keep you through. Anyways, did you watch the recent episode? Hayee, what just happened? Everything escalated so quickly that I didn't even have the time to actually comprehend it. Don't ya think that what happened between Ananya and Akash happened too fast? Yet I am not complaining since we got to see our daily dose of eye candy which just happened to be Akash in the shower. So, if you guys want a PM for the chapter, please send me a buddy request. Thank you for your cooperation. Without any further damn-ado let's get started.

Chapter 4:

There was an awkward silence surrounding them that kept bugging them and indeed they both stole occasional glances at each other. No, not the type where you look at the other person admiringly or anything, but the one which screamed I-am-looking-at-you-so-that-you-can-start-talking, yup, that kind of glances. Akash and Ananya both knew that these attitudes will get them nowhere yet they were adamant as hell. As said by the committee meeting earlier, they had to fly once a week, EVERY week.

So, what happened was that after Captain Saluja left, Ananya had no choice but to follow behind him because she was told earlier that they had the pilots committee the very same day.

Yet, the one thing that bothered her most was the way staff or crew of the Airlines looked at her. She didn't like it one bit. To be honest, she shivered when the male employees looked at her like she was a piece of mat while the female staff looked at her in venom which made her shrink a little. Those looks always burned on her back when she walked and she was ready to do anything she could to get the attention off of her. And all this happened on the first day. First day.

She was cut off by her thoughts when she heard a voice booming.

"First Officer, are you there? You hear me?" The committee meeting had taken place and she had just zoomed out. Focus Ananya, Focus.

"Ye-Yes sir, I am here" She stuttered. She had no idea why she was behaving so strangely after the flight with HIM. Thinking of him, she turned around to look at him and suddenly felt a blush creep its way through her cheeks when she saw him gazing at her intently. What's up with this guy? Why does he creep me out so much and make me blush? Which by the way was very much noticeable to anyone with eyes.

The leaders of the committee meeting had to clear their throats in order to get her attention.

They both snapped their heads towards them clearly indicating that they were listening.

"I know that both of you had no bad motives. But the fact that two of our pilots are fighting in cost of their passengers just doesn't fit well with us"

"Exactly gentlemen, what I am saying is that hum dono ko kuch samay ke liye together nahi fly karna chahiya" Akash defended himself. I didn't do anything wrong, it was all her fault. She should have kept her mouth shut.

"In fact captain hum yeh soch rahe thi ki hafte mein ek baar aap dono ko hamesha fly karna chahiye" The leader replied practically.

"But sir-"Ananya was cut off rudely by Captain Akash.

"Sure sir, I wouldn't mind at all. Infact I think that she will be a great asset to the Inde Airlines if she was a bit more careful with herself" Akash replied back pretty happily.

The leaders rose their eyebrows in Akash sudden change of behavior where as Ananya was sure about something yep, he is definitely bipolar.

Ananya suddenly blushed again. She had to mentally slap herself in order to wake up to reality. Wait why was I blushing again? Because of Akash, her mind replied back pretty snappily. Am I silly or something? I don't like him remember? Sure, sure anything that makes you sleep at night, her mind replied back again. All Ananya could do was sigh. What is wrong with him? One moment it looks like he would be able to rest in peace if he would have been able to send her on an aero plane to Antarctica and never have her back while the next it looks like he would be the world's happiest man to have her by his side.

They both got up and quickly made their way to the outside of the airport.

I am making an exception for him. I have to apologize though. It was all my fault, I shouldn't have over-reacted so much.

"Captain!" Ananya suddenly called out to Akash,

"First Officer" He acknowledged her while nodding. Is he always like this or was it because of me. Well the latter option seems sensible to me. Yup, it was because of me.

"Captain. I-I- want to apolo- Captain, I am sorry" Whew! Finally I let it out.

Akash seemed taken aback for a little bit. Did she just apologize to me or am I going insane.

"Did you just apologize to me?" Akash said asking shocked. Well, you are the first one I have actually apologized to ever so it is suitable of you to be shocked.

"Yup I did" Ananya replied back hastily. She was so embarrassed that her cheeks had turn a bright pink color which had not been unnoticed by Akash. He smirked a bit. Ah, Ananya what are you doing to me?

"Sorry for what?" He asked curiously. This should be interesting.

"You know. I shouldn't have acted so immature and shouldn't have whined so much. As you said I was being unreasonable and highly unprofessional." Ananya looked down in shame; she was really disappointed in herself for this kind of behavior.

Akash sensed it and felt a bit guilty for acting this way. It was her first flight he shouldn't have been so harsh on her.

"Hey that's alright. I think you did a very well job considering it is you first day. The relationship between a pilot and a co-pilot is very important. It is our job to keep check on each other." Akash replied back, somewhat trying to cheer her up.

Ananya's face lit up like a 1000watt bulb. Woah! That was easy. Only if she was not so stubborn and did not have that ego of hers, this all must have not happened.

"On that note, have a great day ahead First Officer" Akash said smiling and walked away quickly when he found his car.

Ananya was pleased to know that there was no more tension around them. She was quite at ease herself.

Nothing was better than to end the day at a good note.

And with that in her mind, Ananya walked her, smiling.

Hey dreamy_dazzler, am so Sorry for late reply. Had got your pm but was too busy with studies so couldn't read the update. Anyways..the update was too good. Typical Akya was there..they both want to talk but want the other one to start up. So stubborn yet so cute.

It was sweet how he defended to cancel their flight together initially but still At the end broke the ice and wished Ananya a good day ahead. Lovely Update.
