Our creative AJ writers promptly forgot about Koyna village immediately after Laali was sold, and after that hardly went back to do any stories in this village, aside from a few.

So now that Laali's parents have been given the heave ho by the writers and directors, I wonder if we will ever see them again. By the way, Laali's two younger siblings should be in their teens now, I think around the same age as Riddhi. We haven't seen them either post leap either.

It is a disappointment that the creatives did not use Laali's family much in the story.
Only Rekha was used the most, but then again how much did we see her.
Most of the time she was in the background looking like a mouse and intimidated by Suman the Snake.. Why not use her more in the storyline, which they did when she first came to live at the haveli.
I like the mother a lot, but the father was sweet, but weak. He worked hard for the family.
Laali has a younger brother and sister. The bro is the youngest. He is probably a teenager now and not going to school and making money for the family. The sis is probably married off.
The family had a sad and poor existence being in a lower class...such a shame to see that. But we saw how the lower caste can be bullied by the elite who have money and power....
