Part one:
Laali says to Shekhar that she hasn't found anything Ratna said offensive. She adds that Ranta didi doesn't know her that much.
Shekhar blows up and chucks the books off the book shelf onto the floor screaming, "But she knows me well! She trusts me the most then how can't she realise that I am the correct one? If I am sad then there is a reason behind it."
"Yes", says Laali. "How would Ratna didi know all of this? So what ever she has said shouldn't be taken to heart. The way she has found out about what has happened anyone in her shoes would have reacted the same way. What is the point getting angry? At the moment didiya needs you the most. If you can go and talk to her, "adds Laali.
Angrily Shekhar replies, "Yes it is a fact that I need Ratna but she also has to accept the facts of my life too." He walks to the wall and points to a few words written on it (I am assuming is says Shekhar and Laali). Pointing to it he says, "This is the truth of my life. Us two can't be seperated!" Laali doesn't reply. Instead she starts picking the dusty books off the floor and organising them on the book cupbaord which lies on the side of the outhouse.
Shekhar adds that he doesn't want his sister if she doesn't understand. He says that he chose to live the life he is currently living because this way he gets to stay with Laali who completes him, therefore if Ratna wants to accept him then she has to accept Laali too.
With that Shekhar storms out of the outhouse.
In Loha's cosy room:
Ranvijay walks in whilst Loha is lying on his grand four poster bed. Loha says, "So you spit out the whole Laali-Shekhar story to Ratna didi? It doesn't take you long to open your mouth."
"Babuji, I said it accidently," says Ranvijay.
Loha replies, "Food goes through the mouth and information goes in through the ears.. but you let this information out through your mouth. Do yoy understand how complicated the situation has become? There are many advantages for both you and me with Ratna present. Now.. I don't know what she will do. Tomorrow the Mantriji is coming to see Ratna. ...and by tomorrow Ratna's eyes will go red from crying. And that Shekharwa could create chaos too. Do you understand anything?"
Reassuringly Ranvijay replies, "No no I will explain to Ratna to behave normally infront of those people."
Loha quickly snaps in asking what will happen if she starts crying with the words "Shekhar bhaiya, Shekhar bhaiya" and asks where her Shekhar bhaiya is.. then what will you (aka Ranvijay) do? Loha adds that everything must run smoothly tomorrow.
